@Vil10 - no we are standing firm! Bought tests and arriving tomorrow so won’t be testing until Monday with fmu if we brave it! About 11DPO but AF not due until Tuesday-Wednesday so not sure if we should hang fire until then???

Speaking of fb groups etc I joined two mumsnet antenatal groups in September 2013 when I found out I was expecting DD. We moved onto Facebook in January 2014 and they are people I can tell anything to. They were the first people to find out DD had been born before we announced it on public Facebook, they'll be the first people to know if I get pregnant now. Some of us have met up in real life, some of our kids are penpals. None of my friends had kids or even considered it when I got pregnant so they have been so important in my life ❤️

@Dontgojasonwaterfalls that’s exactly the same as here, I think because you start friendships from a point of “anything goes & TMI & getting intimate” friendships here & online are often a bit more real than IRL where ppl don’t often know what to say. For my MC it was my 2 best MN & online friends that I told who were my rocks as opposed to my friends here who knew as they didn’t know what to say /weren’t used to that level of information whereas my MN friends were like “here for you, have a cry, have another cry, passing you the gin &, do you remember when....(insert stupid story) & call me whenever”

No one I knew was having a baby the same time as I was pregnant with DS so as sad as it sounds I literally had no one to talk to about it other than my mum and didn't even think of coming on mumsnet etc. I'm so looking forward to having a different experience this time 🥰

@watermelonwizard god we really are 😂😂😂 all my family are farmers on my mums side so grew up thag way. Unfortunately my mum didn't marry a farmer so never got to live on a farm but spent a lot of time with my great aunties etc at their farms! And of course I was a young farmer lol

@TTCmummy2021 Ohhh it’s not too far away then, hold out and wait I think!! I think it’s double the disappointment if you get a BFN too early, but I have a positive feeling for you both!!

@lucyrp oh god that sounds awful, there’s nothing worse is there, you just can’t get comfortable and feel so meh! This isn’t even my first proper one it’s my 4th!! I don’t think the others felt like this though, it’s eased a bit now though compared to what it was this morning!

@Vil10 I just wasn't even used to seeing blood coming from down there id forgotten what it was like 😂😂 so glad I came off contraception though I honestly think that's why I have problems with anxiety because I suffered quite bad with mild depression and anxiety and had no idea that the depo injection causes that and weight gain until after I came off it!

I also think its nice because even if you can talk to your friends you don't want to keep on and on about every little thing to them but on here there's never too much!

@Vil10 my last AF was my 4th since coming off the pill at it was HORRENDOUS! You read a lot about it taking about 3-6 months for the lasting effects of the pill to leave your system, so I really think that had something to do with it for me, possibly it's the same for you so you'll have a better chance at trying this month 🤞🤞

You’re so kind @Vil10! We’ve come and waited a long time for this. Horrendous ectopic plus multiple miscarriages bit this time it feels totally different so we are hopeful!

I ovulated on the full moon too! Defo buy into all that! Unfortunately I was in too much pain/way too moody from the morn and hormones lol to DTD, but we did it first thing this morn so fingers crossed we’re still good!

We’ve had some interesting Chats tonight, my partner is Aussie and I’m Irish, I told him i would want to go to Ireland when our kid is like 3/4 months and he wasn’t impressed he was like I don’t think it would be a good idea to travel with a baby that young whereas for me seeing family and grandparents would outweigh any issues :/ anyways anyone got any intercultural relationships or advice?!

@lucyrp ohh was your contraception where you don’t have periods?? That must’ve been so strange for you when they did start again!! Yeah there’s so many negatives you hear about contraception and I feel like you don’t really realise the full effects of them until you come off it! That’s so true, if I tried talking to my friends about some of the stuff I talk about on here I’m sure they banish me from the group chat😂

@LV1987 ohh that’s interesting to know!! This is my first cycle were it’s actually been regular, I had my first natural period in March after taking the last pill 31st Jan, a second one in March 2 weeks later, didn’t have one in April then had 1 second week of May, so it seems like I’m in a regular 30 day cycle now, as my fw matches up with that too!

@TTCmummy2021 wow, hats off to you both for going through that and sounding so positive!! I don’t know if I’d be able to do that, you should feel proud of coming this far, I really hope this is the month for you both!

@SmileyT thank youu! I was fairly regular in my cycles at 29 days until this corona situation, I didn't think I'd been stressed but clearly I am! I had one 27 days, the next was 23, and the next was 32! So god knows when this month, Flo says I'm due on 17th June but that would be based on a normal 29 day so we'll see. I plan to wait as long as poss to test if AF is late, but easier said than done ofc

@Newbie0818 I've been seed cycling for a few months before TTC as it's supposed to generally help with regulating hormones and it really helped with my period pain! From CD1 - ovulation I take flaxseed and pumpkin seeds (about a tbsp of each), and from ov-AF it's sesame and sunflower seeds.

One with an ex boyfriend when we were teenagers, we were drunkenly heading home from a party to his house in the middle of the night, sneaking down a country path to the back door (literally, not sexually, ahem) and decided to stop for a quickie behind a tree so we wouldn't wake anyone up when we got in. Suddenly we heard his name being called, turned out to be his brother who was also sneaking home from a different party. In my ex's haste to drunkenly pretend that we weren't doing anything, I was chucked with my pants round my knees into a pile of nettles and naked ass winking at the moon; I have never been so stung in my life and was trying to keep quiet as I didn't know how we were going to play it. Ex revealed himself (very literally this time) and tried to have a normal conversation with his brother (luckily also very drunk), but hadn't realised he'd left his d*ck out! Very awkward the next day.

@Vil10 yeah I didn't have any periods at all it was so nice! OH had a pretty big shock to see me bleeding after 4 years !😂 I was on medication for my anxiety and it helped but not a great deal and since I've been off the injection haven't had hardly any problems at all! Madness. I Lways feel like I bore them as I go on and on about the same stuff 😂
