@Juno231 my DH wants to but I just don’t feel that great and tbf trying to give the bean chance to stick well if there is intact one in there. Last time i was pregnant I don’t think I let him near me until after the 12 week scan and even then I was shouting ‘gently’ the whole way through like Monica off friends with her plates! X

@unluckyducky oh really ? Are hot water bottles no good for pregnancy ?? I would be loving them but AF is due on Monday/ Tuesday so not feeling the best lol x

@unluckyducky I know right....men! Luckily I know he did t actually mean it how it sounded he’s just really good at saying the wrong thing! His parents found it funny though! I do however feel quite walrus like atm 🦛 hippo will have to do closest I could get to a bloody walrus! X

@lucyrp no do not use a hot water bottle or take a hot bath I think the heat is bad! You could take a paracetamol if it is unbearable I think. I think they advise to not take anything but I suppose at this point it’s the same principle as having an alcoholic drink? Anyone know? X

@Juno231 This was cycle 2 but 1st with OPKs. Honestly did nothing apart from DTD at probably the right time, basically followed SMEP which was the plan all along but apart from that nothing, I dont take any supplements or cut caffeine etc. I figured I would give it a few months trying first before I done all that. So a lucky month 🤞🏻 definitely the OPKs helped me cause I would never have thought I ovulated CD12.

@TTCgee I didnt do BBT this cycle I tried it up until like CD9 but then my son was in hospital after splitting his head open so decided not to focus on that. I'm gutted though I well wanted to see my own one I planned to do it all of last cycle 😂

@lucyrp Was it today or yesterday u had brown spotting? Best to wait about 4 days after that to get a positive 🤞🏻 all your symptoms are promising. I was more invested in your BFP than my own this whole journey 😂

@unluckyducky I am exactly the same I would be wrapping in bubble wrap just to be sure. There’s no harm in being careful if it makes you feel better it does for me. I don’t think I took baths until further on with DS and only ever warm never hot! Then got so big I got wedged and couldn’t get out without DHs help by the end so that deffo reduced my bathing!! I love a bath too! If AF comes Im deffo having a really hot one....with wine! But I hope she doesn’t! X

@lucyrp Cramps are definitely a good thing, I've had cramps all of today felt just like AF was coming even went to the toilet few times to check.

@lucyrp @Cocoblue22 yeah raising your temp is no good for the baby if there's a bean in there, so not hot baths, waterbottles, hot tubs etc. That's the main risk with corona for pregnant women for instance as having a fever can be really bad for the foetus. You can take paracetamol however, that is fine when pregnant - just avoid ibuprofen like the plague.

Right so girls after all of that I'm not even joking, I've just went to the toilet & I'm bleeding, it's not heavy no need for a pad but definitely spotting but its BRIGHT RED so that's not a good sign a? Wtf is going on 😭 I know it cant be IB cause I've already tested positive so implantation has passed. This is why u do not test early I swear it causes more stress!

@unluckyducky I hope it is IB!! I’ve also been to careful, OH just got home from and came and led down next to me and put his head on my stomach, and I went “be careful you might dislodged a possible implanting bean” 😂😂 I’m definitely getting too invested in something that could well be a bfn

@KRK05 it could be perfectly normal. Personally I would ring the doctors and tell them I've just had a positive test and tell them what's happening just incase xx

@KRK05 oh no! Hopefully it's nothing to worry about! Lots of women seem to have spotting for the first few weeks of pregnancy so let's hope it's that! I think @lucyrp is right - maybe ring the dr for some peace of mind! Sending love and hugs xxxx

@KRK05 ahh that's amazing - really hoping it's nothing to worry about and loads of people have spotting/ even heavy bleeding in pregnancy can OH get you another test for a couple days time. Sending you so many positive thoughts and virtual hugs, really rest up over this weekend 🤗
