New thread for those who were on the May/June thread and didn’t get a BFP, think we’re up to 14 people with a BFP 😍

Anyone who will be testing on above dates welcome, I’ll create a list of usernames and testing date and we will then support each other through the TWW, symptom spotting brain ache and AF arriving or celebrating a BFP. Great if everyone could give a little info about them too!

I’m 30, boyfriend is 27. TTC #1 Cycle 3. Tried SMEP last month and using OPK’s. Not even a hint of pregnancy yet for me but hoping for some baby dust my way this month!

@Mamainmaking1 @cd24x I'm in the postponed wedding crew too 🙋🏼‍♀️ was due to get married abroad this August and have had to postpone to next August! Hopefully we can all have little babies to bring along to our weddings 🤞🏼

VP91x · 09/06/2020 17:08

@Whilstwewait omg, I had no idea pre-seed did more harm than good!? I used it my last two cycles. I was going to use some this cycle but then thought maybe I'd give it a miss.

@Fran2020 @Bubblegum20 yeah CB can be really all over the place, this will be my first month using it. Cycle 1 I just flashed, I actually don't think I OV'd. Cycle 2 I ran out of sticks but got my peak the next day on ICs. I had 4 blank circles then a few flashies.
Cycle 3 (currently on) I thought I would have a few days of blank, but only had one day of blank and today I have gone to flashy 🤷🤷

Mamainmaking1 · 09/06/2020 17:16

@sle0911 aww welcome to the crew lol, we were due for abroad too so disappointing but I always felt ttc was defiantly more of a priority due to some underlying conditions but we were waiting to have our wedding over first so in a way I feel this was maybe meant to be in a weird way. I really hope so for us all, how cute would that be lol.

@vp91x there was a video on it with some doctors or something and they showed the results of it, water, olive oil etc under a microscope with live sperm. It had an impact on the sperm in the video but alot of people do use it and concieve fine so it's very hard to know what to think. I have been using concieve plus but I just use the minimum amount when needed.

VP91x · 09/06/2020 17:18

@Mamainmaking1 so interesting is it on YouTube? Xx

cd24x · 09/06/2020 17:55

@Mamainmaking1 @sle0911 Hello fellow wedding postponers! 🙋 How are you feeling about it all? I originally wanted a wedding abroad, but OH vetoed it. Where are you both getting married?

Bubblegum20 · 09/06/2020 18:40

@Mamainmaking1 oh are you I might have to give them ones a go if I don't have any luck with these OPKs soon!

@DoctorBambino yeh it really does doesn't it, hopefully it'll be soon then! I did just see it on the leaflet!

@MyGossip yeh that's what I was thinking but I just wasn't sure!

MyGossip · 09/06/2020 18:40

@Mamainmaking1 well mine has dropped right down from peak so I've stopped testing now! 5DPO so fingers crossed AF doesn't arrive.
I quite like the easy@home ones and they are cheap enough. I've been testing twice daily and when I seen my LH levels increasing, I used my CB digital to confirm and I got my first ever static smiley this month. Although in saying that, I am struggling to get easy@home ovulation sticks anywhere right now!? 🙈🙈

mrswilso · 09/06/2020 19:31

Hi all ☺️
Just checking in and catching up and I realised that I haven't actually really introduced myself properly yet even though I've jumped over here after finding and joining last months thread.

I'm 30 and DH is 39 and this is cycle 3 TTC #1 after coming off Cilest mid March. I don't track BBT or OPK at the moment but I do keep an eye on my RHR (hiya any Fitbit thread pals 👋🏻) and drive myself crazy trying to figure that out instead 🙄

This month I'm trying not to think about my FW - who am I kidding!? - and I'm aiming to DTD every day until around CD21, I'll maybe give him a break on the odd evening 😂 so far we've DTD CD6-8...shooting for CD9 tonight 😉

Hope everyone's keeping well - sending lots of luck and babydust ✨

mylittlebean2019 · 09/06/2020 20:36

@Mamainmaking1 that’s a good idea. I think if I don’t have luck this cycle I will invest in cheaper ones so I can definitely do more testing. I do have the 25 sticks in this pack so going to start tomorrow and hope for the best!

@VP91x I also didn’t know that about pre seed! I didn’t even know normal lube is bad to use when TTC!! We used it last cycle so I invested in conceive plus this time round so hoping that doesn’t do any harm to the little swimmers!

Welcome to all the new joiners! So lovely to have so many of us on this group. Can’t wait to start seeing the BFPs rolling in! XX

Fran2020 · 09/06/2020 20:52

@MyGossip yeah very strange but think it can happen sometimes! I wonder if I'll be the same this month!

@cd24x welcome! Sorry to hear about your wedding. Good plan to DTD every other day.

@HellloBambinos you're right, we definitely should get lots of BFPs in this group this month! Feeling positive for everyone! Do you normally have more CM?

@Whilstwewait very annoying! The doctors have told me that yet, it's just from what I've read online. Frustrating as I had those vaccines as a child! 😩 I'm hoping that my partner can have the sperm test then if we aren't able to TTC for a month or so. That's brilliant, you just are your breakfast whilst he did it. Ahh, was the place you needed to take it to really close by? I don't know where ours is yet, I reckon he might need to be there to do it... 😬
Sounds really cool! I will definitely try anything too now! Thanks for sending the link. I'll check it out!

@VP91x hmmm vary strange! I guess everyone is different and every cycle is different too. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@mrswilso hey, how are you? How are you getting on with tracking your RHR? Wow that's a lot of DTD!!!! Good luck!

VP91x · 09/06/2020 20:52

@mylittlebean2019 I feel like someone should compile a full list of do's and dont's when TTC with allll this random info that you never get told. Ah I haven't used conceive plus but I'm glad I didn't end up ordering any more pre seed xx

kate123cl · 09/06/2020 20:59

Hi @mrswilso! We're the same here with DTD! CD6-8 and hopefully CD9 tonightWink we must be at the same point cycle wiseSmile

Fran2020 · 09/06/2020 21:10

@kate123cl @mrswilso I'm also CD9! Smile I like it this month as cycle days match the days haha!

mrswilso · 09/06/2020 21:15

@fran2020 I’m doing good thanks, how are you doing? I’m still trying to learn my RHR pattern and it seems like there’s a lot that can influence it so I’m trying not to read too much into anything this month (yet!). I’m pretty chuffed that CD1 was 1st of June this month though cos my chart will probably be the easiest to read so far 🤣

@kate123cl cycle buddies 🤩 I’m due AF on June 29th. Got my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻✨

mrswilso · 09/06/2020 21:15

Eeek @fran2020 yaaay another buddy 🤩✨

RoEP2018 · 09/06/2020 21:28

@VP91x can you explain the BBT to me? New to that!! Sorry for what you went through too

@NadJade I can see that happening, best stock pile the pregnancy tests!!

@cd24x Welcome! How exciting that you might end up having your little one at your wedding 🥰
I'm CD8 so just behind you but with my irregular periods I have no idea when I'll be ovulating. Going to try and DTD every other day too.

Hope everyone is doing ok! I'm feeling excited for the next few days 😆 🍆💦

dizzypixie · 09/06/2020 21:30

I’m also on CD9 but I’m in a mood with my OH so there’s nothing happening in our house this evening 😂 My grump is also made worse by him making me in a mood on the run up to FW and wasting valuable DTD time 🙄😂

kate123cl · 09/06/2020 21:31

Ha @Fran2020 love that too! Handy for keeping track

@mrswilso I'm due on the 28th/29th! Eek😬🤞🏼

mrswilso · 09/06/2020 21:38

@kate123cl oooh testing buddies too! ✨ double fingers crossed!

@dizzypixie hubby nearly screwed it up in this house last night too - and I was peeved that we might miss out as well but remember, the night is young, he might pull the same move as mine did and try it on later to say sorry 😉🤞🏻 (that one doesn’t always work but when TTC, needs must 🤣)

Mamainmaking1 · 09/06/2020 21:38

@VP91x @mylittlebean2019 I literally didn't know it either and I am still really skeptical about whether it is true or not as so many people do use it and swear it helped with pregnancy so All those people can't be wrong. I just got spooked by it so I didn't go ahead and buy, I use concieve plus but have only used the bare mininium and if I could do without I wouldnt use it either. Plus its so expensive lol.

Littlebean2019 ahh you have loads in your pack you won't have to buy more, you seem to have similar cycle lengths to me did you say 25 day cycles or have I got confused? I have 24 day cycles.

@cd24x I feel ok about it I am glad it has allowed for me to start ttc. I have my dress etc all sitting in the room, I didn't really worry too much or want to much fuss anyway. How do you feel about it? Its so funny to see other people who were probably waiting to they get married to TTC that are now wanting to TTC in the year leading up to the wedding. I think there will be lots of people like us.

@MyGossip I ordered them around 3 weeks ago on Amazon. I got the ovulation and pregnancy test pack. I was going to get one-step but they didn't seem to have as good of reviews. I might try the CB ones of I have no luck this month.

Fran2020 · 09/06/2020 21:42

Another pregnancy announcement from one of my friends has just hit me. 😔 so pleased for her but when will it be my time?! She definitely hasn't been TTC that long. I'm at 12 months now....
I was doing well today too 😔

VP91x · 09/06/2020 21:43

@RoEP2018 yeah, BBT is when you chart your basal body temperature. So you use a BBT thermometer which measures temp to 2 decimal places. You see a significant rise in your temperature when you've ovulated. You can use an app like Fertility Friend or Femometer to track your temps and it will tell you when you've ovulated. It confirms it for you more than predicting it. Xx

dizzypixie · 09/06/2020 21:44

@mrswilso haha, glad I’m not the only one! 😂 DP is still working though, so his window is getting slimmer by the minute...

mrswilso · 09/06/2020 21:49

Oh @fran2020 sending hugs ❤️ it's horrible when those happy announcements end up tinged with a wee bit of secret sadness. I really hope this is your month ✨

dizzypixie · 09/06/2020 21:50

Ah @Fran2020 that really sucks - your time will come! Have some of the baby dust that I evidently won’t be needing tonight! 😂 that bit extra might make the difference! 🙏🌌
