New thread for those who were on the May/June thread and didn’t get a BFP, think we’re up to 14 people with a BFP 😍

Anyone who will be testing on above dates welcome, I’ll create a list of usernames and testing date and we will then support each other through the TWW, symptom spotting brain ache and AF arriving or celebrating a BFP. Great if everyone could give a little info about them too!

I’m 30, boyfriend is 27. TTC #1 Cycle 3. Tried SMEP last month and using OPK’s. Not even a hint of pregnancy yet for me but hoping for some baby dust my way this month!

Thanks heaps @RoEP2018 😊 sending you lots and lots of positive vibes too! Yea I tried using a cheap brand I got off amazon the last 2 months and couldn’t work out when I was ovulating so tried the CB ones this month.. and got the static smiley almost 3 days before my expected ovulation date according to the Flo app so thinking I might have missed it in the past.

When did you have your daughter? What day are you in for this cycle? I hope we all get our BFPs soon - TTC is much more stressful than I thought it would be 😔

So I have the CB fertility monitor which should show the two peak days in your cycle as well as high days (you always get a high the day after two peaks).

I had a peak yesterday and again today, so when would I start counting DPO from?! Thank you

@motherofdinosau I usually ovulate the same day as my peak too! I know this because I get the ovulation pains...

@Fran2020 I would say either today or tomorrow, hard to know precisely.

I still had a blank circle this morning which is very unusual for me, I've normally had a few flashing smileys by now. Maybe this month I will just have less of them or go straight to static... the wait continues!

I've had a few cramps today so I'm really hoping this is a sign of ovulation! I'm now on CD14 so could be about right.

As it's only cycle 1 I didn't want to go straight in with the ovulation tests although right now I'm regretting it!

@HellloBambinos I may have one or two drinks during TWW. It's SILs birthday the week after next and we're hoping for a socially distanced BBQ or picnic. OHs family drink a fair bit so we'll likely get questions if it looks like I'm not drinking. It's how I had an inkling that SIL was pregnant before she told us. If I really don't feel like it though, I might offer to drive us home as my excuse.

@Kovu Welcome! I use Flo app too, but it's got me down for ovulation on 14th, whereas I had ovulation pain and light bleeding yesterday. Even with entering my symptoms, it hasn't updated ovulation date. So thinking I can't rely on it too much for accuracy. Keeping my fingers crossed that the OPKs have worked for you this month!

I am CD12 today. The brown streaks that I had yesterday daytime turned into light bleeding last night after DTD. I never had ovulation bleeding before the pill so I am hoping this is a good sign. As I haven't been temping/using OPKs, I'm not sure when I should start counting DPO. Any ideas?

I've decided that if we don't conceive this month, I might try out some cheap OPKs next month just to get an idea of ovulation and to make TWW easier to track. Does everyone get their cheap OPKs from ebay/amazon?

@Smushty14 I am cycle 1 too and wishing I'd done some OPKs just to have an idea of things!

Girls, I'm feeling so disheartened I bought some CB advanced digitals yesterday but I'm already CD13 so had the empty circle reading last night and this morning, is that normal? It said due to my cycle length that I should've started using them on CD7. My cheap tests are getting darker but still showing 'low' on the Premom app (only been using it a month though so no previous history to go on). This was my cheap test from today.

Helloo everyone just checking in! Also would like some advice on ovulation symptoms, I'm not tracking ovulation so just going by Flo which said I ovulated on Tuesday (CD15), however today I've had EWCM a banging headache and feel a bit sicky, could it be I'm actually ovulating today instead? I've never paid any attention to symptoms in the past so wondering if any of you lovely ladies get these kind of symptoms with ovulation? Have had a couple of twinges in abdo but nothing major! X

@sle0911 I usually get headaches/migraines the day of or before ovulation! I had a really bad migraine this month, on the day i had ewcm and felt sick all day (could have been form the migraine?) Didn't use opks this month but I'd take it as a symptom!

@sle0911 I also always get headaches around ovulation so would take that as a sign.

@kate123cl I think it depends on your cycle length. On a 28 day cycle I got a static on day 15 and on a 29 day cycle on day 16, I had LOADS of flashing ones in the run up (I think about 9) but this month I'm on cd14 and still a blank circle. Sometimes people seem to go from blank straight to static. Have you had any other signs of ovulation?

Thank you @DoctorBambino ! My average cycle length is 26. I'm due to ovulate tomorrow but only started using the digital tests yesterday so maybe that's why they're a bit out? Only other signs of ovulation is very slight increase in cm and very slightly tender breasts, that's about it!

Ugh i feel so nauseous...its prob this awful muggy weather...pretty awful here in Plymouth...anyone else? Im only 5dpo so must be the weather, right?! 😂😂😂

@kate123cl I think the CB takes a couple of cycles to settle down. The flashing is when it notices an increase in estrogen. As this is different for everyone flashing days can vary and some people go straight to static. I would say always test with FMU until it flashes as a different time of day before then can mess it up. The cheap ones are just as good. I think CB needs higher level to change to static x

@HellloBambinos I cut down a little but it does no harm. At that point the placenta isnt formed so wont get to baby and most studies say it doesn't make a difference to implantation. Better to be relaxed i say

@Littlebee1990 I usually ovulate day 18 which will be the 18th of this month. I have ovulated day 16 before though so will try and DTD every other day now. Glad to be near ovulation again and in with a chance

@Fran2020 I used to ovulate day after my peak confirmed by temping. My LH used to surge and go straight back down so id only have one positive day. I had 2 last cycle though which threw me so i never quite knew what DPO i was. Hope the 2WW doesnt drive you too insane

Hi ladies! So glad its the weekend I'm completely shattered. This is my first 'proper' TWW and I'm starting to feel impatient and crazy already. Told myself I wouldn't even buy a test until AF was late but ended up ordering a pack of cheap Ebay ones today. Luckily they aren't expected to arrive until Thursday at the absolute earliest and AF due Weds 24th so I won't have to have them staring at me THAT long. I didn't end up opening the wine last night as DH was late home but I have just poured myself a G&T. Think I need to chill out a bit!

@motherofdinosau the weather is so grim but fingers crossed that's not what's making you nauseous!

@HellloBambinos I'm the same! Desperate to test but the only thing that's stopping me is knowing that it could be a false negative/positive! Going to definitely wait until AF is due to arrive. Might join you on the G&T front though!

@HellloBambinos Yeah I would/am continuing to eat what the hell I want and drink what the hell I want until I get a BFP.. It is hard though because even things like events you don't know if you should book tickets, holidays etc just incase you're pregnant or not but I guess you can't put your life on hold can you.. especially when we don't know when we will finally get a positive test!

Since yesterday I have started to do two opks a day because I'm on cd15 and the test line is still not darker than the controll line. Does anyone know if the premom app that reads the line tests can pick up any opks or does it need to be a certain brand?

I think I'm in the TWW now! I got peak readings on my FM yesterday and today (but today's line wasn't as dark when looking at the stick). My CM is how creamy so guessing I'm post ovulation.

I am now on CD12 and we managed to DTD on days 7, 9, 11, 12 and we will do it again tomorrow for luck!

AF is due on 27th - 29th June.

Now to not overthink for the next two weeks! 😬🤞🏼

@DoctorBambino Thanks, I'm not sure! Today my CM is creamy. Does that help?! Hmm strange, I guess every cycle is different.

@Whilstwewait Thanks, that's interesting! So guess today could be my ovulation day but what if my CM is creamy? I might have to start temping at some point. Thank you! Hope you're doing ok?

@dogmam I use Premom and was recommended Easy@Home to use alongside it and I found it really easy. I did sometimes have to photograph them twice as I was convinced my LH was higher than it was and I was right but it didn't go up by much. I'm sure you could use any OPK sticks but I can vouch for these ones!

Hi hope I can join, I'm due on 26th June. This is our first month properly trying but I've been off the pill for a month or two but I've just started watching my cycle and increasing sex around ovulation time, according to flo I ovulated yesterday.
My husband is 47 so I'm aware it might take longer, really hope it doesn't though!

Anyone used the CB digital OPKS (not the monitor) so I have 32 day cycles and I’m not supposed to start testing until CD16.. today is CD14 and something told me to use one, I peed on it and I got my smiley so assuming that means I’m ovulating.. 3 days earlier than my apps say!

Also I don’t think I have ever (not that I’ve noticed) had EWCM, should I be worried!?

@Littlebee1990 I've literally come on to post my confusion over the OPK's too.
I really feel like I haven't got a clue what I'm doing, even though this is my second child 😂 it kind of worked first time by having sex around CD14 ish because I had a regular cycle so we didn't track anything. This time cycle is all over the shot!
According to Ovia I'm about to enter fertile window tomorrow, Femometer starting today. I woke up feeling really sick. Decided to pee on a amazon cheapie OPK and a CB at the same time!! (Anyone else ever done that? 😂) Got a low on the cheapie and a static smiley on the CB?! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Have you been looking out for CM in past couple of cycles? I haven't been aware of it so hoping that's why I haven't seen any as yes! First thing it was a little bit stringy and clear but now also a bit sticking/creamy 🤷🏻‍♀️(sorry TMI)

@Littlebee1990 I didn't have very much either - had to rootle around my cervix to find any and even then it wasn't loads. Have you checked up there or just what's on loo roll/knickers?

I'm even more confused now because I'm supposed to be a few days past ovulation but now I think I'm getting more EWCM but it's less stretchy and more jelly/gummy like (sorry TMI) so I'm wondering if I'm actually ovulating now.. and DH at work grr. If I am ov'ing now it would give me a very short literal phase (like less than 10 days) as my cycles are 24-26 so I'm starting to worry a bit, especially as I never got that positive OPK. Sorry all that was a bit of a rant!
