New thread for those who were on the May/June thread and didn’t get a BFP, think we’re up to 14 people with a BFP 😍

Anyone who will be testing on above dates welcome, I’ll create a list of usernames and testing date and we will then support each other through the TWW, symptom spotting brain ache and AF arriving or celebrating a BFP. Great if everyone could give a little info about them too!

I’m 30, boyfriend is 27. TTC #1 Cycle 3. Tried SMEP last month and using OPK’s. Not even a hint of pregnancy yet for me but hoping for some baby dust my way this month!

Sorry to go on 🤣
I've just done another CB test now. That line doesn't look very strong does it?! Am I about to ovulate? This is so confusing. Especially when cheapie one was so low this morning 🤷🏻‍♀️

What CD are you @HellloBambinos?

What apps does everyone use, I haven't used opks before, so going off the dates of ovulation. But my apps are giving me 3 different days 😫 try to just DTD every other day to cover myself. It's only my 2nd cycle of ttc. So didn't want to put any pressure on ourselves with opks until we feel we need to: but just wondering what apps everyone recommends 😀 x

HellloBambinos · 13/06/2020 11:38

@RoEP2018 I'm on CD17 atm.

@bubblybon20 I used Flo and Ovia this month and they both gave me a different dates too, and the clear blue website gave me a different date again. Obviously not sure yet as I don't have my BFP but I think Ovia is more accurate as it updates as you enter info about your CM etc. But OPKS the surest way to know Smile

mrswilso · 13/06/2020 11:49

@fran2020 oooh I’m excited for you! I’ve not confirmed but I think I maaay have ovulated around the same time as you, I noticed some creamier CM last night and wondered if that was maybe my sign 🤞🏻 mild cramps and bloating CD11 and Ovia thinks that was my peak score too so I’m cautiously optimistic this cycle ✨ DTD CD6, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 too! 😂 I just went for it this week haha!

@littlebee1990 & @helllobambinos I check my toilet paper/knickers for CM and my EWCM is hard to read in my pants so I didn’t think I was getting any either! But I’ve learned (I think) that cos I don’t check it regularly through the day, mine dries into the fabric of my knickers and looks gummier/stickier like you describe @helllobambinos but on the loo roll it looks and feels slicker/slippier than the creamy CM I get later in my cycle. Sorry for TMI 😂

@bubblybon20 I use Ovia app and find it quite useful, if for nothing else than to help me learn symptom patterns through my cycle. This month is the first time it’s changed my fertile window during the cycle - and it shifted it forward by a whole week 😳 BUT I tend to trust it. I’ve been getting symtoms that suggest it’s probably quite accurate this month.
Best tip I can give you is to try commit to logging as much of your data every day as the more info you give it, the more it can use that info to help the app to learn your cycle and give you better, more trustworthy predictions.

Flossy20 · 13/06/2020 12:23

@dogmam I love your way of thinking, you can't put your life on hold 😊

I'm currently 5dpo on cycle 2 of TTC, I'm 35. I started using OPK's and temping for the first time this cycle and found both really useful. I use the Premom app to log the OPK's just as it's easy to take the photo and get the reading. I also find that the graph on here is the easiest to read, so I add temp on there too. I am using Ovia aswell, just as I prefer that for logging symptoms and getting the daily updates. It also has a count down as to when you can test for pregnancy, next fertile window and a daily fertility score, which I know may sound stupid but seeing it say today, 7 days till pregnancy, 12dpo, is giving me something to aim for. I like the visuals. AF is due on the 22nd so still a while to go for me

Normally I look forward to a drink at the weekend but this weekend I'm not interested at all and yesterday I was so bloated and exhausted, I even had a nap after work, which is not like me at all!

Maybe333 · 13/06/2020 12:43

Wow @Flossy20 I could have written your post myself!
Also 5 Dpo, am in my early 30s and using easy@home opks and the premom app.
7days to go before we test!! Really hoping for a positive just before fathers day for DH... This is my 3rd cycle TTC #3

bubblybon20 · 13/06/2020 13:06

Thankyou @HellloBambinos and @mrswilso I will try use that one more so then! Obviously if I'm unsuccessful this month I will look into getting some OPKs, to help give me a better idea!x

Smushty14 · 13/06/2020 13:13

I'm using Ovia too, currently 2dpo! Just trying to not stress and stay relaxed. I did buy the book what to expect before your expecting and although it was interesting, it wasn't as good as I expected it to be.

Fran2020 · 13/06/2020 13:25

I've been trying out a few different trackers this month, but I really like Ovia and Fertility Friend. FF gives a really nice graph of the month and symptoms.

Fran2020 · 13/06/2020 13:26

If you're tracking temp too that would show up at the top. Smile

Flossy20 · 13/06/2020 14:31

@Maybe333 haha, yes, 7 days does not sound that bad does it! Last month I got sucked into testing at 10dpo, obviously it was negative but it still gives you hope as it's too early. I think for me, holding on till 12dpo, when the app says, I dunno, just makes it a real answer. Just my thoughts.
A positive before father's Day would be the icing on the cake!! Here's to everything crossed!!

Dinosaurus86 · 13/06/2020 19:16

Hello everyone and thanks to @Littlebee1990 for making another thread! May I join again?

I am 33 (partner is 30) and this is our second month TTC baby no 1. No previous pregnancies. I’m trying to be more relaxed about things this month but I doubt that’ll last!

Currently CD17 and I think 1 dpo. Due AF/to test on 26th June.

Just to add to the discussion above - I am still eating what I like and drinking the odd glass of wine and plan to until I get a bfp!

sle0911 · 13/06/2020 19:16

Has anyone ever had ovulation bleeding?? Not 100% when ov is happening/happened, Flo predicted Tuesday, yesterday I had EWCM, headache and slight nausea, today I've had nausea this morning and just noticed pink EWCM - could this be bleeding from ovulation and if so would that mean I've already ovulated? Or currently going through the process now? Thanksss x

jabberbino · 13/06/2020 19:22

@bubblybon20 I have used Clue for a year (when I came off the implant) and then following reading waaaay too many forums I downloaded Fertility Friend and put in the last years data as a form of procrastination!

Clue had me at CD 11, and FF and CD 10 for ovulation, and they've both predicted AF on 25th! I think that Clue may have been more accurate based on EWCM?

If it doesn't work this time I'm deffo gonna get some OPKs for next month and suss it all out!!

SVC11 · 13/06/2020 19:32

Hey all can I join this thread. TTC baby no 1 eeep. Af is due the 24th I think (this is first cycle off the pill so not entirely sure). I used opks as I wanted to see if I was going to have any lh surges after the pill and I did, so if I ovulated after that I am now 4 or 5 dpo. Do you think I could test on the 21st with a frer? Or would it be too early, Im pretty scared of knowing about a chemical and I don't want to get a really faint line just to be disappointed later.... Orrrr maybe I should get over it lol as a faint line on fathers day could be amazing.

Chlo2701 · 13/06/2020 19:38

@SVC11 I'm 5DPO maybe 6 & I'm going to be testing with a FRERon Father's Day morning aswel as that's when AF is due.

SVC11 · 13/06/2020 19:47

@Chlo2701 yeah I think for me it would just be a couple day's before I'm due. But maybe it will do no harm.

NewName2020 · 13/06/2020 19:54

Hi all,

My first month back TTC since a miscarriage after becoming pregnant first try last year.

It would've been my due date in 4 days and we felt ready to try so here I am! Tomorrow I'll be 1dpo.

Bubblegum20 · 13/06/2020 20:22

So today is the first day of the TWW for me clear blue said I ovulated yesterday 🎉 wishing everyone luck who's getting closer to testing, hopefully there's a BFP's for you!

SK2970 · 13/06/2020 22:46

Ladies, I need cheering up! It's supposed to be ovulation day according to Flo (I actually think it was 2 days ago) but I am convinced I have a water infection! I feel so rough and it burns when go to the loo, gutted that it has stop us DTD today!! SadSad

Maybe333 · 13/06/2020 23:02

Don't worry @SK2970, if today is ovulation day then yesterday and the day before were your best chance days so hopefully you dtd then and are covered!
I also didnt get to dtd on the day of ovulation, so fingers crossed! 🤞

Florarenniemackintosh · 14/06/2020 07:42

@NewName2020 welcome to this group :) the more the merrier!

I'm finding it super useful being a part of this group - a community of women who understand! I have just been trying to be relaxed, take a gentle walk everyday and read and sleep and let go of my (many) anxieties.

I don't really have anything new to say but just wanted to wish everyone peace and calm : I'm guessing many of us are on the cusp of, or in the middle of, dratted TWW?

Trackers - i'm using fertility cycle. Does anyone have advice for how to make oneself wake up and take a temp reading? I've had the thermometer a week and have managed to take all of two readings!

Also, I can recommend SMEP. It is nice to feel part of a plan and have some kind of 'control' as much as one can say that word in this journey. It has helped me to be unobsessive about every little twingle I feel in my body. Are my nipples bigger? Do I feel extra tired? Is this CM different than normal? My nipples have tricked me many a cycle and SMEP has helped to not overly read into the things my body is doing.

VP91x · 14/06/2020 08:16

@RoEP2018 was that a static smiley on your CB stick? If so then that is your peak and you be ovulating most likely today. I'm not sure about the pink sticks but with the CB advanced ones they say that the lines aren't indicative of anything and just to go with what the screen says.

Did you do more cheapies yesterday?

@bubblybon20 I use Fertility Friend and Femometer because I track BBT/OPKs but, the apps without the extra info won't be accurate as they are very generic, so I would say DTD every other day until a few days before AF? It's the only way to completely cover yourself if you arent tracking 😊 x

Welcome @Dinosaurus86 good luck for this month!!

@sle0911 last month two days before OV I had thin blood streaks in my EWCM my app took that as a positive sign I was going to ovulate 😊

@SVC11 welcome! 21st would put you at 12DPO? If so then you'd probably get an accurate result on a FRER! Fingers crossed x

@NewName2020 so sorry for your loss, I know how you feel about an impending due date. I would have been due on July 14th but MC last December. Hoping that I too will be by then 🤞 xx

@SK2970 ah no way, that is so rough. They are so painful. Have you tried drinking loads of fluids/cranberry to help ease it? And some painkillers? I hope you're able to DTD. Are you tracking in any other way to know for sure if you are ovulating or is flo accurate for you? X

@Florarenniemackintosh glad you are feeling good in your TWW 🥰
I would say maybe set an alarm a couple of hours before your normal wake up time (unless you are already up super early?) so that you can temp and go back to sleep. Or a reminder just before your normal wake up time? Xx

VP91x · 14/06/2020 08:17

Little update on me - CD 15 on day 6 of flashy smilies on CB Advanced monitor. Still negative on OPKs too. If it is the same as last month then, I won't be ovulating until the end of the week. I got a POS on day 19 and ovulated on CD21, sigh! Xx

Flossy20 · 14/06/2020 09:08

@Florarenniemackintosh this is my first cycle temping and have been setting my alarm every morning for 7am but for some reason I've been waking at 6am naturally, regardless what time info to bed.

6 DPO today and had a temp this today, hoping for implantation, let's see.
