New thread for those who were on the May/June thread and didn’t get a BFP, think we’re up to 14 people with a BFP 😍

Anyone who will be testing on above dates welcome, I’ll create a list of usernames and testing date and we will then support each other through the TWW, symptom spotting brain ache and AF arriving or celebrating a BFP. Great if everyone could give a little info about them too!

I’m 30, boyfriend is 27. TTC #1 Cycle 3. Tried SMEP last month and using OPK’s. Not even a hint of pregnancy yet for me but hoping for some baby dust my way this month!

I noticed that I've not said how many cycles, as it's blank next to my name. We've been having unprotected for a year, but I've only been tracking ovulation properly these last 3 cycles. So technically I suppose I've only been actively trying for 3 x

@Whilstwewait how are you getting on? Thank you, I know what you mean! It really knocked me especially as they've not been trying very long. What makes you think that about your 2 close friends? I want it to be my turn too, I'm really routing for us both! So am I, I just want to be fully happy for them. Oh wow, just got together before lockdown and now pregnant?! That's crazy!

@Jonsey1987 thank you, glad I'm not the only one to be feeling like it. These groups make me feel more normal. Sorry to hear that. How long have you been TTC? It's really hard to stay relaxed and not stressed. I really hate the TWW and not looking forward to it starting. I started doing fertility toga today to try to relax me. Sending positive thoughts to you.

@DancingDog welcome! I would say to get tested. I'm in my 12th month and started having the tests this month. I wanted to take control of the situation.

@mrswilso I use ovia app too and it's changed my fertile window on me this cycle too. It originally said I'd be fertile to today (wed) and then updated to say my fertile window ended sunday past. The premom calculated my peak and suspected ovulation date nearly to the day even before I entered my data and OPKs results. It moved one day but that was it. I find the premom app is alot more detailed and shows graphs etc of the data and lets you take pics of the OPKs and gives you a reading to determine your peak. I will continue logging info on both apps but maybe worth downloading premom too.

I noticed alot of CM when wiping today, it was creamy and quite a bit of it. Makes me second guess that ovulation etc is defo over but the OPKs are now low and have been since Monday. Strange. Has anyone else had similar? As I thought CM was meant to dry up, as I said I didn't notice any in underwear it was only when wiping. Sorry if TMI.

@peonyrose87 you are troopers to keep it going for the 6th night in a row even my other half was struggling to keep going towards the end, we defo struggled night 5 lol.

Morning ladies - CD12 now.

Last night got lots of EWCM, so even though it was a "non-SMEP" day decided to DTD anyway just in case! On day 3 of flashy smiley on CB xx

@Mamainmaking1 I think CM can go creamy and then get drier at any point before AF. I normally don't go properly dry until the day of AF so not a great indicator for me until it's too late. But if your EWCM has gone completely then you're out of FW 😊 xx

Morning everyone!

C10 today. DTD again last night as suggested by the husband. That's every other day since my AF ended. Not sure if he should be saving his energy. He's is committed this time!! 👏🏻🤣
Ive been doing OPK's early as well as I really don't know when I'm going to ovulate with my irregular cycles. Using Amazon cheapies but I've got some CB smiley ones coming today. They got me pregnant with my first. I remember now actually thinking about it, I got a smiley 2 days after my fertile window had passed on the Ovia app! Can't trust those apps.

Morning!

I'm CD11 and got my peak this morning and loads of EWCM! I started testing on CD6 and have DTD on CD7 and 9 so far. But now I have got Peak, we will aim to DTD today, tomorrow and Saturday. I started doing fertility yoga yesterday and again today. It's a nice way to chill out.

What's the best time to do your OPK's?

@RoEP2018 haha, nice to know when they are fully on board with all the DTD. Yeah the apps are always so off with dates, I suppose they just use very average algorithms xx

CD15 for me today. I didn't think I had much CM but things are noticeably drier today. Yesterday I saw in the news that safari parks are opening again next week and text DH about going to Longleat. He said yes but maybe the week after next as next week he will still be busy with work and my first thought was "I'll know whether I'm pregnant!" Wish I could just forget about it for a few weeks now

@RoEP2018 with the CB ones you're meant to use FMU and then normal strip OPKs I do mine at roughly - 2pm, 6pm, 10pm xx

Thanks for that, I'll starting using the CB ones tomorrow morning then and keep up with the OPK's. Been doing them about 1pm and 7pm so that should be ok. Basically going to be testing all day, good job working from home 😂

@RoEP2018 yeah, that should have you covered! OPK is a nightmare you end up so thirsty from holding your wee/not drinking much xx

Wow - you ladies have got so much useful information!

I have a question about the CB Advanced digital OPK if that's ok- I only just started using it this month so am a newbie to it. I am on CD 15 of 31 (my last cycle was rather long) been using the OPKS for 5 days now. The first 2 days I got the low fertility sign, but have been having a flashing smiley for the last 3 days....do you ladies know roughly how long it should be between getitng the "high" to "peak" fertility? I track using Glow and according to the app my fertile window has already passed but I do still have a fair bit of EWCM.

Any advice from OPK pros would be appreciated.

@Chlo2701 We haven't been to the safari park for years either, even tho we are only an hour or so away. Went to the centre parcs with a big group last year though and we had such a good time - defo recommend when it reopens although it wasn't cheap

@HellloBambinos that's why I haven't stayed there as it isn't cheap & I would rather spend the money going abroad & have guaranteed sun🙈 but would love to do a group thing for a hen wknd or something. & also because it's only 20mins up the road from me I don't think it would feel very much like a holiday 🙉
@msanne if you're getting ewcm then I think that you will probably get your peak today or tomorrow. I've heard of some ladies getting 9 flashing smileys! But I've only ever had 3 at the most before my peak, & because you're aware of your CM that's a good sign. Also by reading where you are in your cycle I'd definitely say you will get your peak any day🤞🏻x

@HellloBambinos Longleat! My screen went weird in the app! I'm so glad they are opening safari parks and zoos again. They need the donations to keep them going.

Still a big blank circle on my CB monitor today, I feel like I'm spending my life in two week cycles of waiting. Waiting for ovulation and then waiting for BFP/AF... really should stop wishing my life away and be in the present!

TTC #1, cycle 1, AF due on 24th June!

I feel very wet behind the ears when reading all your posts, trying to remain optimistic but I know this could be the first of many cycles. But everyone here seems so supportive.

Just about to enter the TWW, not tracked using OPKs but so far my app (I use Clue) has lined up really well to what my body is telling me (EWCM) so fingers crossed!

Longleat sounds lovely - think we will need to plan ahead and make a day of it over summer. xx

Center Parcs is lovely, been there for spa days and for family breaks too. Hopefully the next time I get to go it will be with my little family! I've never made it to Longleat but I would love to go around Christmas when they have all the lights - it's supposed to be amazing!

So CD13 for me, CF seems to have gone watery so fingers crossed.

Personal question... does anyone else's DP not ejaculate when they are dehydrated? So annoying especially being so close to ovulation haha
