Morning guys, I've been TTC for 17 months and I've been testing with internet cheapies ( 10miu one step, baby mad & pro Matis) since 9DPO and not even a glimmer of a line on them. I'm 4 days late for AF today so I though I would just double check with an Co-op own brand 25miu test and see if that's the same and then I got these. Could these be wrong? 🤔

Can definitely see a clearer line in the bottom picture - although I'd maybe expect a darker line for 4 days after AF - BUT it could be the tests. I found with cheap supermarket ones the lines were never as dark. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Maybe get a FRER test? The bottom line looks positive though! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼✨

Literaryseed · 03/06/2020 11:14

I agree with RDC2020 re strength of line. I see a line on top test clearly.

2020mission · 03/06/2020 11:19

Looks promising but I agree, try a FRER and that should be clearer! 🤞

MaverickDanger · 03/06/2020 11:22

I can see a positive line in both.

shadyzadie · 03/06/2020 11:28

I can see a line in both too Smile

MummyT13 · 03/06/2020 13:56

Thanks ladies, I done FRER & CB digital (see attached) I'm so confused why the line is so light 🤔 I used OPK and tracked my CM..

@MummyT13 congratulations! ✨

SarahTTC2020 · 03/06/2020 16:05

@MummyT13 yay congratulations! I could see a line in the bottom one but amazing to get it confirmed x

2020mission · 03/06/2020 16:06

@MummyT13 don’t worry about the light line - that CB Digital is 100% clear enough 😃 congrats!

Literaryseed · 03/06/2020 16:17

Congratulations OP! Great news.

MummyT13 · 03/06/2020 16:29

Don’t torture yourself with comparing line darkness. I never got proper dark lines and darkness can fluctuate according to how concentrated your wee is, how long the stick is in the wee etc.

Enjoy the feeling of a positive and if you really want reassurance wait 10 days then re do the digital and see if it’s added a week.

IShineAShoe · 04/06/2020 07:21

I’m sorry but this is how my chemical pregnancy started- very faint lines that didn’t progress very well. I also had a positive digital which reassured me, but I began bleeding heavily pretty soon after.
I’ve everything crossed this won’t be your situation. I’ve read some people have low rising hcg and everything is fine, unfortunately that wasn’t my experience.

lucyrp · 04/06/2020 08:56

I had 3 faint lines on the exact same tests from co op and then I had a CP. fingers crossed for you

bluebell94 · 04/06/2020 09:07

Please try not to stress over line darkness! My FRERs were also pretty similar and both about as faint as each other the first 2 times. Digitals are a lot less sensitive and lots of people get false negatives with them at first so you've obviously got enough for a positive on there - test again in 2 days or so and try not to worry. As I said mine were very similar and I'm now almost 17 weeks x

MummyT13 · 04/06/2020 09:34

I feel devastated, just got a "Not pregnant" on a boots digital and they detect pregnancy earlier than clear blue. Can't stop crying now.

I read somewhere that too much Hcg can actually cause a negative test when you are further along. Some people have had positive results by diluting the urine half and half with water and testing then.
Good luck, OP Flowers

RubyFrench91 · 04/06/2020 09:42

@MummyT13 what is the accuracy of first response vs boots digi? I thought FR tester like 6mu, the lowest of all tests?

lucyrp · 04/06/2020 10:05

I'm pretty sure digital tests take a lot more HCG to give an accurate result.

maria2bela · 04/06/2020 10:10

Hmmm, perhaps a blood test from GP? Try another test this morning?

MotherOfShihTzus · 04/06/2020 10:20

Digital tests are not as sensitive as the early response tests, so it may well be too soon to get a positive on that. Clear lines on the other tests so don't lose hope yet!
