Morning girls,

11DPO here, didn't test again this morning as I woke up really needing a wee about 4am but had some crampy type feelings last night so pretty sure AF is coming 🙄

@lucyrp haha I can thank my mum for the blessing of only having to wash my hair once a week. I've just got super thick hair and ever since I was little it only needed doing once. After i week I can feel that it's greasy but everyone else says it still looks fine. It's a benefit to our weight the absolute ball ache it is to wash, dry and straighten it which takes hours 😩

Cocoblue22 · 03/06/2020 07:18

@Skip86 oh such tiny little babies that must of been scary having both premature one of my friends has had two premature babies too and she said it was so stressful but now you wouldn’t know her kids are exactly the same as other kids their age. I get the crying about natural birth I think had I not had one I would of felt like that but actually knowing what I know now you’re deffo not missing out at all! I cried over breast feeding as we couldn’t do it but actually now I realise that was stupid and I don’t think I’ll be bothered next time. Felt like I was failing DS but it’s made no difference he’s the same as my friends kids the same age who were exclusively bf for over a year! And my friends said it was quite tying and they got fed up after a while which also helped me feel a bit better!x

I think we are way to harsh on ourselves to be ‘perfect’ when actually when we look back on ourselves we realise that there’s no set way to be perfect and we are actually pretty perfect anyway x

Sydgal22 · 03/06/2020 07:23

@lucyrp forgive my ignorance but I haven’t used that app before, what does it do/mean When it says that?

@cocoblue22 I totally get what you mean about breastfeeding, I’ve never had a baby but soo many people I know are quite on their high horse about it, my mom bottle fed all four of us and there’s not a single issue. I totally understand the benefits of breastfeeding I just think people need to be kind to themselves and others sometimes!

@SmileyT I’m testing morning and afternoon and just got another flashing. I’m such a worrier, already freaking I don’t/want ovulate and it’s only been four days, I just need to chill the beans I know 🤦‍♀️

J0DI3 · 03/06/2020 07:24

@Newbie0818 haha I didn’t want to say it as I know some ladies are struggling in their TWW but man I think waiting for that smiley is worse at the moment 😂

Cocoblue22 · 03/06/2020 07:26

@lucyrp what? Why’s it saying that?!? Surely not you’ve already carried a baby once I’m sure you can do it again. As I’ve said earlier burn that phone how rude of it 🤬 x

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 07:26

@Sydgal22 I'm not really sure myself😫but it's telling me my BBT should be a lot higher in the luteal phase than it is and so is saying i may have luteal insufficiency which means I could get pregnant but will more than likely lose it. Not what I wanted to wake up to on this miserable morning 😫

KateColx · 03/06/2020 07:27

@lucyrp Eh? What does that even mean? Cheers for that morning pick me up femometer 👍🏻

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 07:29

@Cocoblue22 that's what I thought but the only thing is I had a pregnancy 4 years which didn't end up going ahead for very complicated reasons sadly and I haemorrhaged and had to have the operation to remove material and I'm not thinking that may have hindered my fertility 😭😭

Skip86 · 03/06/2020 07:32

Oh bless you @Cocoblue22 , you always take the time to write such lovely messages 💗 Yeah the months I've spent beside incubators have been the most fucked of this life so far! You would never know it looking at my boys now though ☺️

I was lucky to have a decent milk supply so pumped every 3 hours for months on end and then could breastfeed, but so many mums in the NICU struggled with it and beat themselves up horribly. I can understand the yearning to feed your baby if the choice is taken from you for whatever reason, but absolutely 100%: fed is best! Their babies are no different from mine now 😊

Skip86 · 03/06/2020 07:36

@lucyrp I don't like the little goblin writing info in your fermometer app. I know the apps are really helpful for some ladies for a variety of reasons, but in this case I'm worried it's using algorithms to spurt out a diagnosis it's really not qualified to do!

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 07:36

@KateColx It's only an app but I'm not very happy this morning 😢

Sydgal22 · 03/06/2020 07:36

@lucyrp Jesus that’s scary, but also I feel like a lot could impact your temperature? I could be wrong as I don’t know enough about it. Do you use a special thermometer? That’ll be me now next month if I don’t get my bfp this month :(

Cocoblue22 · 03/06/2020 07:37

@lucyrp I’m sure it won’t have and try not to worry. If you’re stressing that’s not good either. Just see how it goes for the next few months even when everything is fine it can take a good few months and if you have another CP/MC go to your dr for tests but I’m sure it won’t even come to that and you’ll have a healthy pregnancy try to relax and maybe switch that app off for a while x

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 07:39

@Skip86 I don't bloody like the little goblin thag much either anymore! Twat😂😭 I've only been BBTing for one month so I'm hardly going to see a pattern in it as you're supposed to do it for 2-3 months before noticing anything and surely that can't be right. Anyway a luteal insufficiency is when you have a short luteal phase but mine is already 9 days so how's it decided that already ?!

Cocoblue22 · 03/06/2020 07:40

@Skip86 you’re one strong mama bear doing that! Your babies are so lucky! X

@lucyrp I’m worried about you now please don’t get stressed about that stupid app. Like @skip86 said it’s only algorithms so just ignore it please for your own sanity. And turn it off it’s served it’s purpose for the FW you don’t need it on now x

watermelonwizard · 03/06/2020 07:41

@blodyn91 I just can’t get my head around to rearranging anything at the mo!! We are lucky venue wise and can have that pretty much any time. I’m thinking it’ll be a more laid back affair than planned. I want to do something nice on my ‘should be’ day too! A new outfit sounds like a great start!

@Charlotte2020 I had my coil out 13th May!! I was due AF on the 17th and I had a 4 day bleed the 16th which I’m counting as AF but could have been a withdrawal bleed, it’s so confusing isn’t it. I then tracked my ovulation using opks and ovulated 29th May ish. I’m thinking it’s a slim chance I’ve conceived but am still hopeful 🤞🏼 If not I don’t know what to expect AF wise this month, i haven’t had one for about 9 years! 😩

Birth wise I had a horrendous time and ended up having a retainer placenta, anyone else? Hour long op to remove it while awake straight after birth, where they had to cut me from hole to hole 😷 To mop up the blood there was 2 beds with massive ‘sanitary pad’ type things and I was rolled from one to the other as I soaked through the layers. My DS was also only 4lbs 10. I had flashbacks for months and PND! So hoping next time will be a better experience!

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 07:41

@Sydgal22 yeah it does also say I could make my readings more accurate but I'm taking them orally and the best way to take them is rectally but not really a fan of sticking a thermometer up my ass at 6.30am every morning 😂

watermelonwizard · 03/06/2020 07:42

*retained placenta

lucyrp · 03/06/2020 07:43

@Cocoblue22 the midwife said when I went for my booking appointment before my CP she was going to check my notes to do with that operation to check if there was any trauma to the cervix and she didn't mention anything to me so can't imagine there would have been and they surely would have told me ag the time if something bad had happened. I definitely won't be looking at the writing on there for now anyway 😫🙈

Minster2012 · 03/06/2020 07:48

@HattieHB welcome! Don’t give a f what ppl would say! DH & I waited & in the mean time my skin cancer came back & I was given a shit prognosis. He duly made the decision to marry me despite knowing I prob wouldn’t make it, & we prob couldn’t have kids (in fact my dad said that to him when he asked his permission). 7 years later I’m totally stable & we have a miracle child, but still think why the f did we bother waiting when we both initially said we’d like kids by 32. 🤷‍♀️As @DontGoJasonWaterfalls said, ppl will usually find something to natter on. Just say “well in lockdown” & shrug I say!

@Lucie91 totally non judgemental bus! Welcome aboard! Loving the descriptions!!

@LittleRa sorry you got a BFN sending lots of hugs. AF not here which is good & it might be a screwy cycle for you xxx

@Skip86 you are Aussie posh porn star mum barbie YASSSS love ya even more 🥰 have we seen you on an Aussie reality show 🤔

@SmileyT loving your data work we’ll def keep you busy!

Hope @Ltay2’s fella is healing nicely for next FW!

Ha ha @lucyrp & @KateColx I’m a hair washing slob. Non lockdown I’m twice a week (on hairdressers advice as it’s so coarse & it’s strips the nat oils) in lockdown def once a week Cos I just don’t have the time/can’t be arsed with DH our 12 hours a day when DS up I can’t spend the 1.5 hours it takes to wash/dry/ straighten it- don’t hate me 😬

@lucyrp your femometer needs to shut the f up

Cocoblue22 · 03/06/2020 07:49

@Charlotte2020 your birth sounds as awful as mine. 🤗 big hugs for getting through that. That’s why I’m having an elective section next time I can’t go through it physically or emotionally again and risks to me and baby would be too high! I’ve heard good things about how calm elective sections are I know it’s still a long recovery and major op but I need the calm this time it was so scary for the 3 and half mins that DS was stuck the world literally stood still I can remember that being the longest and scariest three and half mins of my life I couldn’t do that again and my DH was equally traumatised I don’t think he could go through that again. As I say we are so lucky everything was fine in the end but we definitely need a calmer one next time. I envy all my mates that have had lovely calm straight forward water births (that’s what I wanted 😭) x

Minster2012 · 03/06/2020 07:49

@Sydgal22 yeah I hated the CB tests after about 4 flashing smiles so totally with you there!! Damn 🤡🤡🤡🤡faces it doesn’t then make you want to DTD on those alternate days does it?!

Vil10 · 03/06/2020 07:53

Morning ladies❤️

10dpo today, been having cramps but feel like they could be af so feeling extremely pissed off!! Also my sore boobs have practically gone, still soreish nipples but not like they were!

@lucyrp fuck the app, you don’t need that negative shit first thing in a morning! Don’t worry, I’m sure you’re absolutely fine carrying a child and giving birth, and if a doctor hasn’t told you that there was trauma then a bloody app surely can’t know?? Xx

Amy00 · 03/06/2020 07:54

Morning ladies! BFN for me this morning on frer at 12dpo - looks like I'm out for this month. AF due tomorrow. It's only cycle 1 for us so would've been super lucky!

We are moving house in a couple of weeks and it's a bit of a project so will have loads to keep me busy!

Good luck to anyone else testing today 🍀
