@OnNaturesCourse ha I'm the same as your OH now - FRERs are so expensive and being on cycle 5 now I only want to use them if AF is actually late as I've realised I could spend a heck of a lot of money on them before I get a BFP! In the meantime I use ICs that are supposed to be nearly as sensitive, just to satisfy the need to POAS. Got my fingers crossed for you!

2 DPO and OH is still talking about how he hopes I am now pregnant with twins so that we never have to DTD again!!

Yeh, it's just unfortunate that the ICs I have seem to be a bit dodgy.

Welcome @clolo I'm testing 11th too. Af due the 12th so fingers crossed for the both of us! We're 9 months ttc our first now and it's a long journey! Will you book in with the docs if unsuccessful this cycle?
@LKSF good luck with the ivf! Do they advise not to try whilst undergoing ivf then? I'm getting interested in it now cos that might be our option if the next 3 months don't happen for us!

Quick update. 12dpo. I've had mild af like cramps for about a day and a half but no af. Had some pink cm last night just a tiny bit, and some odd twinges this morning. Very confusing. Seems like good signs but surely to late in the game? I got my period last month at 12dposo that seems more likely. Bfn yesterday.

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you, yes you’re not allowed to try inbetween taking all the drugs and then having embryos put back in, I’m not 💯 sure why but they don’t want you interfering with what they’re trying to achieve I guess. Fingers crossed you conceive naturally in the next couple of months 🤞🏼 X

@Minster2012 I thought the same! Really hoping its implantation. I'm not going to buy any tests until after AF is due because I know I'll be tempted to test... well that's the plan atm, we'll see how long it lasts 😂

@KateColx oh my god yes washing it has been bliss and not having to dry and style them just to sit in the house has been amazing too!! 🤩 I did say tho if I was to conceive I wouldn't put them back in as the expense for maintenance with your actual hair growing quickly would be ridiculous l!

Yeah this is the worst bit the first two weeks of the cycle fly by then the third isn't too bad and this last week is HELL!

Lol it seems I am always trying to catch up, not much happening here, x-ray this morning, I'll just do it, I need it and the risk is very low, even lower if nothing is happening yet, no symptoms here, and it looks like after 8 cycles I stopped spotting ( symptoms)

@blodyn91 I was such a keen reader too and reading books then watching the films was such a killer as no one ever looked how I'd imagined!

For geeky chart lovers. This is my resting heart rate. First red is first period after coming off the pill end of March. yellow is predicted ovulation. If there is a pattern it means AF should be here anyday 😬 but that would be early. So if thats the case my body is still adapting post pill. Anyway shall wait and see

Think my fingers are too short to reach my cervix ive tried multiple times at different parts of my cycle and never been able to feel anything! Definitely not sending hubby in to find it as I know I definitely don't like it being touched the bloody doc at the hospital traumatised me in my last pregnancy. You know when you watch one born every minute and they're all gentle and nicey to the women 'this will feel a bit uncomfortable just keep breathing tell me if you need to stop at any time' ..... yea none of that he just shoved his hand up rough and fast till it felt like he was trying to tickle my flipping tonsils never mind feel for my cervix, it was so bloody painful and unexpected I thought he was just having a wee look expecting it to be a bit like a smear test (I wasnt in labour yet I was in for bleeding).....pretty sure a female doc would have been a tad more gentle felt like twisting his bawsack to see how he likes it!

Anyways I'm off to spend my morning doing the opposite of everyone else trying to avoid AF im googling how to get my period to start 😂 I just want to get onto the next cycle im hating this skipped period nonsense!

@notyetamumbuttrying Yeah it’s on the nhs and you basically get three free try’s after the third attempt you have to pay. Yes and no....it’s happened as quick as it could of really, just takes a while as the blood tests and scans you have before hand have to be specific days in you cycle and so all of the tests probably takes a good 4months and then probably another 2 after that so I’d say about 6months in total but maybe each individual’s different and depending who you’re funded by and what clinic you go to 🤷🏻‍♀️ x
