@DontGoJasonWaterfalls yes totally! I've never understood until I went through it. Its madness and it's so much worse for people who are actually tracking like you say as we are the ones who notice everything where as most women would just guess it was their period arriving! There is no support for it whatsoever it's very sad

Absolutely, @Katao. We felt very isolated after the chemical pregnancy so when we had our second at 8 weeks, we opened up about it on social media (people were constantly asking us when we were having a second baby).

People immediately stopped pestering us to have more kids but even more surprising was the number of people who came forwards and said "I've had a miscarriage too, thank you for opening up about it". Family, friends, former lecturers etc. It's horrible that anyone had to experience it, but reassuring to know that we're not alone.

@Franklydear well I'm hoping that you get your BFP and you do have to have that conversation.

@sjones2588 welcome to the crazy bus, although everyone is quiet spicing up their TTC sex I'm sure 😂 Toys, sexy underwear, avoiding too much discussion of tracking and fertile days are a few things the ladies have suggested.

@lucyrp yeah I wouldn't mind getting to the 1st scan after only a couple weeks of knowing but also it is nice having the fun of only the two of us knowing, I definitely wouldn't tell anyone for at least a few weeks.

@33Carr that sounds bloody lush glad you are enjoying this TWW, keep positive and hopefully it will all be like this xx

@DontGoJasonWaterfalls completely agree, it's almost as if because it happens often that it doesn't impact people. @Katao it's hard to know exactly I think with a CP as you get your period as normal (maybe a few days late) and the doctors are unable to confirm pregnancy but I've read that a false positive is very rare so if you see a line it means that there is hcg in your system, it's kinda what put me off testing early but also I think it's good to know xx

@SmileyT ya I know what you mean about putting you off early testing. I'm 9dpo tomorrow so i yhink thats what started me off questioning last month again. In a way I'm dying to test but i don't want all that confusion again so I'm going to wait a bit longer this time so i can feel more confident in the result.

@katao, I only went to the doctor because my period hurted like I was dying, I couldn't be very far along, I conceived ds about half a year later, I told my friend when I guessed she was pregnant, but she wasn't anymore, happy to be there to support her,

@DontGoJasonWaterfalls you were so right to share your experience. It's sad how much secrecy there is around loss. And people can be so insensitive without even knowing it then. I cringe thinking of all the times I could have upset someone in the past with stupid questions or assumptions 🙈

@SmileyT I'm a very open person so definitely wouldn't be able to keep it to myself. I'd tell my mum and my 2 friends pretty much straight away because I always ask for their input on things. I FaceTimed my one fried whilst sat on the loo with the faint positive I had last time and she was screaming down the pgone to me 😂🙈@Katao that's what's putting me off testing early is my experience from last time but it also shows me thag it is possible because an egg was fertilised so that's a good thing

Well my app suggested I take a pregnancy test today, think because it thought I had symptoms with the boob ache recently etc, 8-9 DPO I think...BFN.

I'm so torn between being disappointed and OK with it... If we're out this month I think we will be out until end of the year for TTC thanks to DPs work situation.

@OnNaturesCourse don't get disheartened yet, it's still very early. Fingers crossed. That's the thing with early tests, you don't know how to feel about a negative!

Think it's gotten to me so much because with my first I had my BFP at 9DPO.. And it was as clear as day, the test line was as strong as the control line.

@Katao yeah I'm in two minds as I guess I'd like to know if the sperm was meeting the egg but something was going wrong at implantation but also be horrible to know... this TTC life is a mind fuck 🤯

@lucyrp I was with my ex for 5 and a half years I bought a house with him before I took him home to meet my parents - my friends always say I'd just turn up to brunch one day with a baby before I told them. I'm such a secret squirrel 😂

@OnNaturesCourse definitely still early to get a definitive answer, just remember that date of ovulation could be off by a day and time to implant is different for every pregnancy, apparently boys are quicker than girls etc, stay positive ☺️ will you test again in a few days? Xx

I literally keep smelling the smell of bonfires but there aren't any. I'm in bed and all the windows are closed, I could smell it downstairs and now I smell it upstairs. OH can't smell Anything. Am I going mad

My first pregnancy was a girl so its maybe the other way round for me lol. If I'm out, I'm out. I'm a firm believer in what will be, will be... But its hard not to be disappointed slightly. I have no more tests just now, more getting delivered on Monday however I'm hoping to hold out until Tuesday / Wednesday when I'll be about 12 DPO

@sjones2568 today I said to DH pink red or black for later and at first he thought we were painting the walls 😂 then he got really excited thinking what am I gna wear for him later 😂

@lucyrp I was so stressed I ended up having a cheeky smoke 😂 don't usually but as I'm a t total lady it's the only way for me to unwind and relax luckily I'm still working from home so the commute to the sofa wasn't too long today!

@katao it does sound like a CP to me and I'm so sorry you have to experience it ☹️ - your AF coming early was probably due to the failed implantation 😩 @lucyrp I am so surprised you guys weren't given more info - I know what I had wasn't a CP but my midwife went through everything with me after the MC so I'm shocked you guys weren't provided with more support during that sad time! So I'm sending you lots of hugs you too @dontgojasonwaterfalls

Ladies I have to ask your advice I feel like DH is so optimistic and thinks we will get pregnant asap! Aka in a few weeks. I'm glad he is chill and has so much faith in his little swimmers but I'm too well aware of how much luck is involved and how lucky we were before! I don't want him being disappointed if it takes us longer than we would both like to get preg- any ideas on how I can get him to think more realistically and manage his expectations? X

@lucyrp yeah i am super sneaky... I just love having little secrets I always have even as a kid 🤷🏾‍♀️ my old boss used to say that smelling a burnt smell means something is up with your brain, pretty sure that was shit though 😂 what do you think it is?

@Mococo1 personally I love that my DP is so positive, it's annoying and frustrating at times but I think I can get stuck in my own head and he pulls me out. I guess it depends how he'd react if it wasn't positive really soon, first month my period came, mine was like 'well there is a 25% chance, we're doing everything right let's order some more stuff and next month it will definitely be the month' he just doesn't see the point in expecting it not to be positive. So hopefully your DH is the same and just trying to be a good support network for you xx

@smileyt yeah that's true that makes sense his positive outlook could make things easier for me 😁 to be fair i should just be happy he is supportive and wants a baby more than me! So yeah

Hi ladies, I'm due for AF on June 4th but planned to test tomorrow (10DPO). I caved and tested thismorning at 9DPO and got a faint line within a couple of minutes. I'm crossing me fingers it gets darker over the next few days but early positive signs for me! No congrats yet please as I'm still unsure if it's actually positive but I will keep you all updated. Tried taking a pic but as with many of those faint lines, it doesn't come up on my phone.

@River that sounds promising, and I completely understand you being cautious with the celebrations just yet but it's definitely going in the right direction. What test did you use?

I've been such a s**tty virtual friend the past couple of days but I blame it on the sunshine, sorrrrry 🙁

Nothing new for me though I'm 7DPO today & for some reason my TWW has flown in (last cycle was a drag a week felt a month) & I dont know if that's a good thing or a bad thing 🤨 maybe it's true cause of lockdown we obsess in the TWW but cause it's been so sunny here been enjoying out in the garden all week, its kept my mind off of it & every day just been busy & going so fast.

Busy all of this weekend so il probably bea bit awol (were being naughty & going to families gardens for bbq, my side on Saturday & the in laws Sunday) but I will still read messages so I know what's going on. Have a lovely weekend girls ❤

Hey guys hope you’re all well! I really enjoy reading all your messages so glad I found this :)

Was hoping for some advice, am about to head into my FW and want to do everything right! I’m wondering what your thoughts are around exercise? I do HIIT style book camps a few times a week, my heart rate gets quite high and it’s an intense work out, do you think I should be continuing this in FW and then TWW after? Such conflicting advice around exercise online I’m wondering what you all do?

I’m excited for this FW, have some new undies some conceive plus and going to attempt SMEG, big fingers crossed for everyone here!

Thank you @KRK05 and @OnNaturesCourse I'm hopeful! I used a FRER test but used diluted urine after a cup of tea so tomorrow morning I will try FMU. I also have a FR digi with the yes/no outcome but will save that for when AF is due. I'll keep you all posted!

@Mococo1 I don't think it's about how much you want it just maybe how much we try and protect ourselves and OHs from disappointment, when it happens you'll both be as excited as eachother ❤️
