@Minster2012 enjoy your night, your man is very lucky 😉

@lucyrp I'm the same I feel like the earlier I test the more stress it's going to cause me but these threads definitely encourage you to just start testing really early 😂 I think most of my friends would think I was mad if I told them I was 3 and a half weeks preggers.

@TheGirlWhoLived because you're on the June bus I feel like you'll get your BFP on June 1st...

@Mococo1 you're full on day at work made better by a big blob of EWCM... I felt exactly the same when I got some 😂

@Franklydear hopefully the blood test shows up the hcg 🤗 Also maybe tell them you could be pregnant as don't they have to do something with the X-ray x

OH walked in the door from work lifted up my dress and shagged me silly so bloody satisfying - sometimes a quickie is just what you need especially after yesterday's no show 🤪 now for another glass of wine 🍷

@SmileyT I was hoping not too tell her until after the fact, my doctor, and more my asthma nurse, is lovely but believes in waiting for perfect conditions to try and at 42 I don't have the time, also wanted to spare me the lecture if I happen not to be, I'll tell her when I have a date for the x-ray, it might be 13 June with af in full flow..

sjones2588 · 29/05/2020 20:03

Hi All,
Can i join the June bus plllllease😝
Currently TTC, ovulating right about now, although still waiting for the EWCM. Period due 15th June.
How do you keep things spicy when TTC? Looks like you girls have shares in love honey. Com haha.

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 20:04

@SmileyT the best bit about not trying is that when you find out you're normally already 2 months down the line and its only 4 weeks til your first scan. That's the only thing I dread with trying is that everything feels like it takes forever! I also feel like I'm one of those women who don't produce a great deal of HCG until later on in the trimester 🙈 I definitely would only tell two of my friends the other one would think I'm mental 😂

Cocoblue22 · 29/05/2020 20:10

@Vil10 not everyone has implantation bleeding I didn’t have it with my son x

SarahTTC2020 · 29/05/2020 20:11

@Mococo1 yay for ewcm!!! Get on that love train 😉

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 21:00

God ladies you're so quiet today!😱😱

LV1987 · 29/05/2020 21:06

They're all fertile and shagging @lucyrp 😂😂

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 21:08

@LV1987 I'm jealous! 🤩😂

Katao · 29/05/2020 21:11

Hi girls can I ask an opinion on something? I'm sorry I hope this doesn't come across insensitive to anyone but I've found it very eye opening hearing some of your experiences with cp.
Last month I had some promising symptoms midway through the 2ww for a couple of days (metallic taste, definate tugging/cramping) and then on 9dpo got a really faint positive, a proper squinter. That was it all other test after that were negative and then my period arrived 2 days early. I was really all over the place about it because the early test got my hopes up but then i just put it down to a dodgy test. I'm now thinking maybe something did get started but implantation failed. I suppose it doesn't matter really but i was just really confused by it.

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 21:20

@Katao that does sound like a cp. it sounds exactly like my experience last month. I took a test the day before my period was due and I had a faint positive. I did one a few days later and got another faint positive. I then had 5 or so negatives staggered between those faint positives then had my third and final faint positive a week or so later. I was then 3 weeks late on my period so booked in with the midwife and tried to explain the situation but kind of got bulldozed into it like yeah you're pregnant congratulations etc and then two days later I started bleeding. It was just like a period with no excruciating pain or anything different. So my period was 3 weeks late. When I spoke to the midwife about it she said that an embryo had been made but for whatever reason it hadn't attached properly. I'm not really sure if I had a miscarriage a CP or whatever. They were very blasé with me afterwards so no idea really I've just had to take it as whatever I think

DontGoJasonWaterfalls · 29/05/2020 21:34

That sounds like a CP @Katao, I had one the month after our wedding. All the symptoms, two positive tests and then a week after my period was due, it arrived.

33Carr · 29/05/2020 21:37

First day of the TWW has been brilliant, spent the day doing some interview prep with OH testing me then ended up in the sunshine with music and a couple of ciders, now he's fallen asleep on the sofa while I'm watching James Bond (not quite 50 shades but it's Pierce Brosnan) Feeling so content.. wonder how long it will last before I start twitching from POAS withdrawals 😂

Katao · 29/05/2020 21:38

Thanks for your replies. I suppose what was most confusing was my period turning up early whenni was still hoping for another positive test to confirm the earlier one. Would a cp cause an early period? Although I suppose I could have been wrong about when af was due.

33Carr · 29/05/2020 21:39

Sorry to read about people's CPs 😔😔

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 21:44

@Katao it may not have been your period it may have been a bleed due to cp and then you miss a period and have to wait until that time in the next cycle that's whag mines been like although obviously I'm still waiting for the next bleed

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 21:46

@33Carr glad you've had a lovely day🥰🥰🥰

Katao · 29/05/2020 21:47

God it's all so complicated isn't it! @lucyrp

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 21:48

@Katao it really is! And the midwife didn't really help explain it at all to me so you're just left feeling a bit lost☹️

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 21:50

@Katao mine only happened on the 10th of this month and my period was 3 weeks late when I had the bleed but it was just like a period but I'd obviously had the positive pregnancy tests so it wasn't a period

Katao · 29/05/2020 21:53

Ya I didn't have anything unusual either, wasn't any heavier or worse than usual I don't think.

DontGoJasonWaterfalls · 29/05/2020 21:56

CPs are so misunderstood. The general narrative is that this is the type of pregnancy loss making up a big percentage of the 1 in 4 pregnancies that ends on miscarriage, the "lots of women miscarry without even knowing". Because of this the assumption is that no one notices or cares if it happens, but if you're regular as clockwork, actively trying or testing early you will in all likelihood know about it, and there's very little support for it.

Katao · 29/05/2020 21:59

Sorry you went through that @lucyrp, sounds very upsetting. At least my positive was so early and faint that i didn't really know anything for sure so was more confused and disappointed than actually feeling like a loss if you know what I mean.

Katao · 29/05/2020 22:03

@DontGoJasonWaterfalls I always think it's heartbreaking to read of so many losses on threads like this. Makes you wonder about all the women around you in real life and what they may be going through. I've been very lucky myself but have become so much more aware of how common loss is and how you never know whats really going on with people.

lucyrp · 29/05/2020 22:04

@Katao yeah it wasn't very nice as id been for my booking appointment with the midwife and everything and when I had the bleed they wanted to send me for an emergency scan at the hospital but I wasn't keen as I was sceptical about it being real still as I was still getting negatives along with the faint positives
