@watermelonwizard well I actually live in England, just across the border, but desperate to go back home (90miles). We are waiting for the announcement but we are sneaking back tonight 😬, we have a cottage on the farm so wont even be staying in the same house as my parents. Can drive there and back on one full tank, so no stopping, and wont see anybody once there- so its safer than going for a walk here. (please all don't get mad, I have lasted this long in lockdown' but me my sister and my mum have had our fair share of brakedowns- so so homesick)

@watermelonwizard, yes, but that show is USA, healthcare is expensive, most of my American friends wouldn’t dream to go to the doctor cos I don’t feel right, in the uk, you would have gone for many of the symptoms and test would have been done, even if not possible
@Minster2012 if it is a bit of money, have a proper think on the best option of investment, no advice there from me, always skint, also we truly are a non judgemental thread

and @Minster2012 property investment is a really good option at the moment, house prices are predicted to fall a little bit here in the UK, so a good time to buy if you can afford to 😄

Morning Ladies!

CD14 for me and day 3 of flashing smileys. I got my static CD15 in the evening last month so would have ovulated around CD16-17. I have textbook EWCM this morning though so wonder if I might get my peak tonight/tomorrow morning. My cycles are still trying to get back to normal after my molar pregnancy. They were always 28 days before but have been 33, 33 then 29 the last 3 months so 🤞 this month will be back to normal.

@Cocoblue22 you can definitely miss your peak with the clear blue. When I was TTC last time I had a month with no static and read that you should test twice a day as the LH surge comes and goes pretty quick so it's easy to miss if you only test once a day. It only lasts a few hours for some women apparently! As long as you've been DTD regularly you're in with as good a chance as anyone 😊

@Skip86 absolutely zero judgement mate. I always think being stressed out hinders your chance of conceiving so of anything having a few drinks with friends and forgetting about the TWW for a while will probably do you the world of good and if you are pregnant already it won't harm the baby at all as they're not getting any nutrition from you at this stage anyway.

@SmileyT oh mate I'd be fuming too. And then upset probably. Men just doing understand how much of a mind fuck this is for us. We're constantly thinking about it and literally changing our everyday lives trying everything we can to get pregnant and a lot of them seem to just think 'it'll happen' just remember if you've been having regular sex anyway you're still in with a really good chance, it doesn't have to be the day of ovulation. Maybe talk to him about it when he gets home and explain how it's made you feel and that it could be the difference between a baby and no baby this month. If you got your positive in the last 24 hours make up sex tonight could totally be the one.

@blodyn91 If I could do what you're doing I'd certainly be doing it! Parents a/brothers are in north wales and we are 100 miles away. They live on a farm so we can and just chill outside as the weather is so nice (plus they have new horses and ducks to visit) but don't want to get pulled over and asked where I'm traveling to/from as I have no valid reason to be going back 😭😭😭

@33Carr I know I feel bad braking the rules. I did get a green light to go back in April to help dad with lambing by the police but decided not to go because I showed symptoms end of March, and would never forgive myself if my gran then caught if from my mam.

@Noble89 thanks for that info I saw two lines on the stick a few days ago which made me suspect but the monitor didn’t pick it up and the instructions say to ignore the lines but I’m sure that they are basically the same as the IC sticks. I might fish it out the bathroom bin and take a photo I think it was from Tuesday which would of been CD15. Everything I read online says the LH surge lasts 48 hours tho so I thought it would be impossible to miss it? I think it showed up for two days last time x

After DTD last night in my head I was singing like dory the fish.....just keep banging, just keep banging, banging, banging, la la la laaaaa! You probs all think I’m crazy 🤪 x

@blodyn91 Yeah that sounds very sensible of you. I think as long as everyone you'd see are symptoms free and have also been sensible it shouldn't be an issue. I'm on call tomorrow anyway so can't go back this weekend but hopefully things might change a little by next weekend! It will be the perfect distraction over the weekend during the TTW too cause that's when I struggle as I have nothing to do 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

@Minster2012 I just caught your steamy London sex comment! When he is at work, he works about 3 weeks in a row, anything up to 16 hour days so his one day off is spent asleep 😂 he worked at a major gas issue in tooting near St. George’s just before lockdown, was was starting at 5am and not getting back to his hotel til gone 10pm. It was crazy.

He got a call last night so might be going back sooner than we thought!

Up to 8 people meeting here now! So off to my parents Saturday for a socially distant bbq I can’t wait! And yes I will be having a few sherbets in the sun hopefully

@Cocoblue22 I wouldn't take any notice of the sticks as my lines stayed the same the whole way through my testing il take a pic of them all to show you now I've kept them in the box

@Cocoblue22 I've just put them all through the fermometer app too for an example and all of the first pic were low and the second pic were high. But in that selection of sticks there is 4 blank, 4 high and 2 peak( 1 was a false peak) so 🤷🏼‍♀️

Symptom spotting is inevitable, isn’t it! 🙄 woke up feeling a bit queasy today which led to a very saliva tasting burp, sorry TMI. I had the same thing during my first cycle after removing the implant, in April, even gagged at the smell of washing up liquid then. Not reading too much into it, other than progesterone really isn’t my friend, as I would be 8DPO today according to flo’s predictions.

Btw, @Skip86, OH texted this morning asking if he should bring a bottle of something sparkling for the evening and I totally said yes! 💁🏻‍♀️🍾

@lucyrp have you got the same fertility monitor as me? X

@lucyrp @cocoblue22 I don't think the fermometer app is great Ifjnding if I take a few pics of the same test line I can get anywhere from zero to 20 so I'm just baffled to be honest! Starting to lose faith in opk testing as the line doesn't even seem to be getting darker let alone near a peak 😭 I'm wondering if my body is actually ready to conceive post MC now maybe I'm not ovulating (I feel stresssed ttc because I feel like I should have have a darker opk line now😭) have myself a good talk and thinking to just stop the opks and have sex every other day for now but it's soooo hard as I want to know when to use my conceive plus lol

A friend announced her pregnancy due date would have been nearish mine for MC and I felt a pang if jealousy and then got angry at my opks 😭 it's gna be an emotional day today

Or do they all have that little end on I thought the CB ones just had that to fit in the monitor to be read? X

@Mococo1 @Cocoblue22 oh yeah I don't trust the fermometer app at all in the grand scheme of things I was just trying to show how similar the sticks look but they've all got different readings.
@Cocoblue22 I don't use the square computer I use the little holder but they use the same sticks so I presume they'd look the same. My peak line looked the same as one I had which was a blank 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Cocoblue22 @lucyrp is right I think. I can never really see a difference on the sticks for clear blue between flashing and static smiley's. I think it's something to do with clear blue measuring multiple hormones. I think @SmileyT explained it to me last month as I was like you and thought the lines would give an indication but apparently not!

I'm sure I read somewhere the LH surge usually lasts 12-24 hours but it's not unusual for it to last less than that so you can definitely miss it. That's why I test twice a day. Either that or youay just be having a longer cycle, I've seen ladies on here getting their static after 20-25 days.

I'd say just keep DTD every other day and you can't go wrong 😊

@Mococo1 I’m exactly the same, knowing what I know about my body & eggs I think I shouldn’t get stressed over the actual OPKs, just make sure we are regularly DTD & actually just use the preseed as normal lube 🤷‍♀️It’s easy to SAY though. I feel you. & if you want to test when do you?? Could you just wait for AF each time??

I know I will know when the DD comes around from our miscarriage & DH won’t. I mean, it was Halloween so hard not to remember, but he was never actually really told that so totally get you on that front too.

@Noble89 @Cocoblue22 yeah I think that's why there's always a line because of the 2 different hormones. I did think you could tell the difference to start with but soon realised I always had two lines and couldn't tell the difference between low and peak even.

I feel the same about my OPKs I NEVER seem to get a strong 'peak' at all.
I've started using BBT this month as well. Femometer says my ovulation has passed by 2 days (my predicted ovulation) but there's no peak on my BBT or OPKs.

I do actually wonder if I am ovulating or not..

@Skip86 yeah I dozed in bed for a couple hours after I took my temp morning, going to be a tad late for work but better than being a zombie all day haha and honestly don't worry about drinking in the TWW no judgement in this group xx

@lucyrp you are right judging that can be done so no point dwelling on what could've been, we've got it done over my fertile period the last 2 months and that hasn't worked so I'll use it as an experiment to see if less is more, the month we got pregnant I was withdrawing/ avoiding fertile week so who knows 🤷🏾‍♀️ are you still spotting a lot or just a little bit? First time I got pregnant I had that 2p coin in the mouth taste Googled it and was like 'fuuuucccckkk' -

@unluckyducky @Minster2012 @KateColx @Noble89 without going into too much detail it was not his lack of trying or awareness last night 🙈 he asks my temp and to see my LH strip everyday he knows what we need to do it just wasn't happening last night there is only so long you can rub the lamp if the genie isn't coming out 😂 he feels awful which makes me feel even worse but clean slate tonight x

@SmileyT umm it was quite a bit yesterday but not had a great deal today it was more CM yesterday than the day before like thicker. And yeah that taste is gross. Haven't had it back since although my mouth doesn't taste completely normal 🤷🏼‍♀️ omg 7 pounds since Sunday ?! I weighed this morning and I'm 3 pounds heavier than Wednesday lol great 😂
