@lucyrp okay that’s good to know. What little holder thing? Does yours connect to your phone then or something? I’ll post a pic of mine the other line is only really faint on like two of the sticks potentially then maybe it was on its way up one morning and by the next morning 24 hours later had already gone down perhaps? X

Just read my instruction booklet again and it says what @Noble89 said that it could have missed it or the surge might not of been that high? So if the surge wasn’t high would I still ovulate is what I’m now thinking 🤯 x

Oh @SmileyT that really sounds like the pressure got to him poor guy! Maybe less is more from an information stance. It's great that he is so interested in all the opks and everything but then maybe it's too much of a build up to ovulation day. He might feel less performance pressure if he isn't as aware of when is fertile time, especially peak.

8dpo and have one sore boob 😂 not sure if that's a symptom or not. I don't remember having sore boobs with other pregnancies and i don't get it as a pms symptom so who knows. Something to obsess over at least as zero other symptoms!

CD14 and still got blank OPKs! I was expecting a peak on CD12 so this is frustrating me... I think I'll start with BBT next cycle as this guessing game is doing my head in. Maybe it'll show I don't ovulate at all!

I’ve just googled I see what you mean about the holder! Do you buy that separate from the sticks then? I thought they were just like single use preg test sticks. Is that what they used to be like anyone or have I imagined that? Makes sense why they are a similar shape but I think they are different sticks @lucyrp x

@Juno231 I feel your pain! We can’t all not be ovulating I’m sure at least 7 of us have said that this month already!! X

@lucyrp could just be water weight hun, fluctuations are normal! I don't trust the app either so maybe il invest in CB next month

@minister2012 it's my first time TTC so I'm really trying to just wait till two days before AF is due. Only have two tests so got to wait till it will show positive but if I had the tests I would probs be testing from 8dpo onwards probs twice a day like maniac. Thing is not sure quite when ovulation is now as I don't trust the opks- so will never know how many dpo🤷🏽‍♀️

With the MC pregnancy we weren't TTC so ended up testing when I was 2 days late I think as had mad preg symptoms but even then the dates didn't add up so I could have ovulated at a funny time then

@Cocoblue22 no a new holder comes in every pack and you can buy a holder with 10 sticks or with 20 sticks but you can't buy the sticks or the holder seperare. Yeah they are different sticks but I'm saying I thjnk the same rule applies that you shouldn't read into the lines on them too much you just have to take the reading as it says.

@Mococo1 yeah I know I definitely should not weight every day I need to wait til next Wednesday really 😂 I can't go walking at the moment either as I have a big blood blister on the side of my foot and its fine until I wali about 5 miles then it gets annoyed again.

I’m CD26 and I’ve FINALLY got my static smiley and strong lines on my ICs!! They were getting stronger yesterday and today it’s as dark as the control line and the static smiley comes after two weeks of flashing. You’d thing I got a BFP this morning but I’m just made up my body is actually doing something this cycle 😂🙏🏻

@Skip86 Happy Belated Birthday! You’re not technically pregnant yet so knock yourself out 😉 a few drinks are nothing to worry about this early on so don’t feel guilty. Have a great time!

@watermelonwizard My cousin’s exGF didn’t know she was pregnant til she was 5 months! She’d had periods throughout, was a bit chubby anyway so didn’t look much bigger and they’d gone on a 2 week bender to Magaluff when she would have been 3 months 🤦🏼‍♀️ the baby was perfectly healthy and he’s now 12.

@SmileyT I’m sorry about the OH situation - I feel ya! If my OH isn’t in the mood or has had a super stressful day at work, no about of ‘rubbing the lamp’ will work either 😔 There’s still time for you today though so don’t give up! 🤞🏻

@Minster2012 Sorry to hear about your grandparents. However the inheritance house idea sounds great, especially since house prices are predicted to drop it’d be a great time to buy.

Can someone please tell me when they think I ovulated as I'm getting confused now. Here is my chart which thinks I ovulated on 20th but I had a ⭕️on my CB that day and 3 days previous which then turned to a flashing smiley for 3 days and then on the 24th I got my static.

@Cocoblue22 I'm glad I'm not the only one then! I struggle to keep up with all the messages so I've missed that others are also overdue OD!

@lucyrp I'm not sure about CB statics and how they work with smileys etc but if I was purely looking at your temp chart I would say 20th as you then have four days of higher temp afterwards

@SmileyT genie and the lamp cracked me up 😂. Ahh bless him, it is a lot of pressure on the guys too I think. Like if I can't be arsed and I'm tired I just have to lay there and get it done, it's not as easy for them.

It's such a nice day today. Can't wait to be finished with work, think OH and I are going to go for a nice long walk and then have a little date night with a few drinks and some good food then get on with some baby making!

@Mococo1 see I'm thinking the 20th would make more sense also as the spotting I've had started on the 26/27th which is when I would expect implantation as it's 7 days ish after ovulation 🤷🏼‍♀️ but not sure why my CB would be wrong

@lucyrp I didn’t read it that way don’t worry. I always read stuff back that I’ve posted and panic about how I’ve written it in case anyone is offended I worry way too much!! But honestly it’s fine I didn’t think it was patronising I thought it was helpful. It’s interesting to know about all the different things people are using I looked them all up on Clearblue. X

And do the IC just look for LH and show two lines if they find it and one if not? Or do they look for oestrogen too? X

Also impatiently awaiting fertile week... Should be entering it on Monday, but stark white OPK this morning. Had a teeny bit of a line yesterday, but I think the LH has gone back to sleep for a little longer, lazy shit 😂

@lucyrp I've no idea about charting so honestly couldn't comment on that but I read somewhere that sometimes your body can try to ovulate and fail then try again and succeed a few days later. So you get an LH surge and I assume an indication on your chart but sometimes the egg isn't actually released and you can get another surge and ovulate a few days later.

All I can suggest is maybe taking a test 14 days after the 20th and if it's negative give it a few more days on case you did ovulate late.

What CD was the 20th for you? Would that be earlier than you'd usually ovulate or would that make sense with previous month's?

@Cocoblue22 ICs only detect the LH surge, CB with the advanced sticks detect a rise in oestrogen (flashing smiley) as well as the LH surge (static smiley). The cheaper CB sticks/ovulation tests only detect the LH surge 😊
