@Skip86 no ones judging you at all! I drank yesterday and the day before 😂 granted it was only hooch made into a slushy but still drank alcohol🙈sounds like you had a lovely day!! OH brought home a piece of coffee cake that someone had given him at work so had that with a cup of tea last night it was lovely 😍 sounds like you were spoilt like you deserve🥳😁 both times I found out I was pregnant I had been on a night out like 2 weeks before and drank so don't worry 😂🙈

@Minster2012 a bar I used to go to did triples for the price of singles I used to spend £10 and be out all night! And probably danced on tables too. Those were the young ‘wild’ days. Now I’d much rather sit sipping a prosecco or gin in a nice cocktail bar haha!!x

It’s so strange how everyone is different tho some get ov pains and implantation bleeding some done so bizarre. Other than sore boobs last time I don’t really remember anything there were no other signs. Oh actually one more I tried a glass of wine when out for dinner (test that day had said negative so thought why not) it tasted awful and I wouldn’t drink it DH said it was fine but i couldn’t stomach the taste! X

@Skip86 good plan, and then fingers crossed for Sunday, no judging plenty of time from bfp till your next drink, so...
@SmileyT it is just my chronic asthma so it doesn’t get me too down, plus I think I must have ovulated before getting poorly, and done list this fw so fingers crossed, and it makes a good distraction for the tww
@lucyrp I didn’t expect anything, being off work since March, I am more than grateful they are still paying me, tbh.

I managed to rest but not fully sleep after midnight post, bah, got to go to the gp later, so going out, will need to wear proper clothes😰, a bit nervy as is a respiratory disease I got I have to go to the ‘infected’ area, just in case, not in line with the thread but my gp says a lot of asthmatics have flare ups and she wonders if we all got a mild case of Covid, she sort of hinted that in March when my chest infection wouldn’t clear up.

@Franklydear yeah we are very lucky too. We've been off work obviously because of Covid but on full pay so when we had a message I thought it was going to say we were going down to furlough and was dreading opening it but then got that message and was like omg. They've been so good to us

@Skip86 on the pill they were obv regular 28days however when I came off it 3 years ago they went straight to bang on 28day cycles on their own for 7months then I conceived my DS. We used condoms for that 7months tho as we had a big holiday to Vegas so I didn’t want to get PG before that. I didn’t expect to get PG so quick last time I thought it would take me ages but I was so lucky (I feel awful saying that when I know some of you have been trying for ages). I think ov was around CD 17. Using the CB advanced digital fertility monitor (it’s a square computer thing). This is my first cycle post pill so maybe it’s not out of my system? Also I’m using out of date sticks so maybe they didn’t pick LH up? I haven’t tracked or used anything else if it doesn’t work this month I’ll invest in a fresh pack of sticks for next month.

And totally no judgement about having a drink in TWW it shouldn’t make any difference as the baby isn’t taking any nutrition from you yet so the alcohol won’t get into the baby think how many women party hard for the first month without realising I think as soon as you get BFP no drinking but until then you aren’t technically pregnant x

@Skip86 would never judge for drinking during tww, my partner doesn’t like it but I feel like one or two drinks surely can’t have that much of an impact!

You said you were in Australia are you? I’m dying for nsw to change the rules so I can plan some parties! I want to host a Christmas In July but ideally I won’t be able to drink then cause I’ll be preg haha!

So I had the most vivid dream ever that I was preggers, I saw the test and everything, we told my mum dad and sister and they were so happy and now I’m so so gutted it was a dream!! Anybody else have these? It’s such a tease like “this is what you could have”

@Sydgal22 yes I'm in WA and was just announced we can have up to 100 people from 6/6 🎉 and restaurants/bars etc open. Have to get the partying out of my system before I get that positive!

@Cocoblue22 sorry yes that's right, the computer CB! Ok if it was a straight forward scenario I would offer up advice re if you might've ov or not, but with the computer/old sticks/pill etc I'm not really sure sorry. Hoping if you've been DTD plenty you will have caught it anyway!

@Skip86 I actually found out I was pregnant with DS 2 weeks after my birthday so I definitely got lit thag night and he's alright too 😂🙈 hooch is an alcopop. The original is lemon flavoured so tastes like lemonade but they do raspberry lemonade etc.

Hooch is like a lemon flavoured alcoholic drink, like 4% 😆 makes your teeth furry 🤣
All of you starting to test next week is really going to make me want to! Try my best to resist, no sticks purchased yet!

I got my static! Yesterday a big fat ⭕️ cheap ICs were picking up a line about half the colour of control. This morning straight to a static smile! CD14. So same as you @SmileyT ? Sorry to read about not getting to DTD, it’s totally understandable you’re upset. We did it last night , so is it today and tomorrow the best days? Hope you get another one in on your peak! But as you say, just takes the one so 🤞🏼

Absolutely no judgement re drinking!!! We’ve got to go 9months plus longer if breast feeding so be kind to yourself! I was also lit dressed up as a zombie bride (it was Halloween) the day before I found out I was pregnant with DS1! I was only 20 🤷🏼‍♀️

Lol totally don’t get how people don’t realise they’re pregnant?! Does anyone remember that tv show about it? People not realising until they’ve actually given birth. Wild!

@SmileyT completely understand how you feel! I think for us we feel like we spend every day/week tracking where we are and noticing every tiny change waiting for the peak, and then when it comes to it and they're too tired etc. There's nothing we can do about it 😩 And it's the one thing we need them to do in the grand scheme of everything else. I had this with my OH last month. Hope you feel a little better this morning x

@SmileyT so sorry bout your DH last night. I mean I’m with him on the cycling thing (but I get a sore ass from like 20 mins cycling!) but it does take two!! But even ovulating yesterday & doing it tonight those swimmer can still swim up to your egg & be like “hey girl, let’s get together!” So why not make up tonight? If he’s on board with REALLY wanting a baby You could always explain that when you are pregnant in the later bits (& hell when the baby arrives) the sex bit will nose dive so he should take his opportunities now when he can but for a lot of men that would put them off having a baby 🤣😂

@Franklydear yay for bonus!! That’s awesome!! I’ve been told recently that I’m due a fair amount of inheritance having lost 2 grandparents during lockdown (not covid related & not unexpected, one was 102 & one 96) so I’m contemplating buying a buy to let property but it’s mind boggling to me 😬

@watermelonwizard I was huge no way to not know I don’t get it either I’ve never met a pregnant person who was not obviously pregnant at 9months. I saw on tv this young girl who was really slim and didn’t know until she gave birth I don’t know how that happens!! She just thought she’d put on a few lbs!! I put on like 38lbs!! X

Waiting patiently on Mark Drakeford to see if Wales follow the likes of the rest of the UK with this lockdown too @blodyn91 @lucyrp ? Nothing’s changed for us yet except garden centres opened 🤷🏼‍♀️ Still can’t travel unless essential!

@KateColx I do the exact same! 😂 I don't know how long I'm going to be able to wait to test but at the moment I don't have any real urge because I haven't got any symptoms apart from the brown blood/CM and the metallic chemical taste in my mouth on Wednesday which only lasted for a few hours. It was disgusting 🤢

@watermelonwizard @blodyn91 @DontGoJasonWaterfalls yeah literally nothing has changed. I'm not in any rush for things to change as I know my work is going to be absolutely horrific when we go back. I work in travel and tourism technically and with food so we'll be last to go back to work. If I do conceive aswell they've told me they'll sort me paperwork to do from home so if I do looks like I'm at home for the foreseeable 😂 I don't think I'd tell them to start with because I'd want to actually go back and see how bad it is when I'd had enough I'd announce it 😂
