Just want AF to arrive so new cycle can begin...

AF due in 3 days.

Am sure I'm out this month - negative FRER today and I have the usual PMS acne.

Just want my period to come already so that I can get this useless cycle over with and have a commiseration beer.

Just frustrating as have been taking pre-conception vitamins for months, cut out caffeine, no alcohol during TWW, have DTD every other day, tracked ovulation and with no success.

Anyone else fancy a moan whilst waiting for AF to show up?

@CaribouCarafe haha thanks! It’s ok as we couldn’t DTD over O as my OH put his back out so it wasn’t going to be one this month so just glad I can get tested!

This cycle will be interesting as I’m due to O over a spa weekend and then AF is due when we’re abroad so won’t be able to test! Think I’ll do one the day before I go tho so I can at least drink if it’s a BFN!

I'm due AF on Sunday and the boss just had his travel cot delivered to work 😭 I hate how jealous TTC is making me! He's going to be a fab dad and I'm so happy for them but I can't walk past it without having a grumble to myself 🤣
Where are we all at? I've laid off noting my symptoms this month, mostly cos I'm fed up inputting data all day every day and partly cos I've stopped acknowledging them. We DTD plenty but I'm not sure exactly when I ovulated so I'm not too hopeful this month...I'll still be raging when period comes this weekend though 🤣

Oh I think we’re all always absolutely fuming when we get our period @mrswilso no matter how sure we are that it wasn’t our month!
I’m stuck in limbo... again. I’m waiting on my period and I’m pretty sure I’m not pregnant. I’m on CD45 and did a test 8 days ago and it was a very firm and clear negative. Hate waiting 🤦🏼‍♀️

Thank you @mrswilso that’s very sweet. It is a nightmare, I just checked back, over the last year or so, my ‘cycle’ has ranged from 14 days to 82 days... it’s not ideal. I did speak to my GP about it but they seemed largely unconcerned. I keep hoping it’ll even out but it hasn’t happened yet.

@mrswilso my line manager has been diagnosed with diabetes for her pregnancy today and even that was making me jealous.. what is this craziness?!

I’m on CD4 so waiting to start again. OH did his SA today so hoping those results come back ok.

Had a horrible time at GP. Went for my day 3 bloods. Long story but didn’t get door answered, told me I was too late for appointment, had to argue another appt, got sorted for that and then got in with nurse who told me day 3 bloods were something she’d never seen in her nursing career and basically suggested I was making up. So didn’t get them done. She then spoke to another nurse who apparently told her I didn’t need them as my day 21s were fine so think will wait for SA to come back and then call GP for next steps.

@Ughmaybenot I’m sorry to hear AF hadn’t shown up! I honestly can’t believe the GP isn’t concerned by it. I could get if they were regular long cycles but surely the irregularity is cause for further investigation?

@mrswilso yes true! I was a bit low on Vit D so started to take some extra tablets for that but still in normal range.
Any sign of AF this am?

@LS2020 not yet 🤭🤞🏻 haven't started spotting which I'd expect last night, my RHR has only dropped by 1bpm overnight and (TMI) I'm terribly constipated this morning despite having a curry last night 🤣
Trying desperately not to get too excited - this is the closest I've ever been to a late period in my life!
Think I'm gonna try my hardest to hold off testing and pray she doesn't show today 🤩

@LS2020 well I would think so but what can you do? I’ll push it more in a couple of months, I’m way too busy with work etc to have any headspace for it right now, especially if I have to push them and focus on that.

I hate that you had a horrid time at the doctors, it’s the worst when that happens, especially when it’s something which isn’t super easy for you in the first place!

@mrswilso any update today? Got my fx for you! I’m good thanks CD7 so just gearing up to start DTD and started ov sticks again today. This cycle will be a weird one as I’ll be on holiday when AF is due so won’t be able to test but also won’t be able to drink until she shows 🙈 I’m gonna do one morning before I go though just to double check.

@Ughmaybenot yeah it’s really frustrating when they’re not in the mood to know. I guess in a couple of months as well you can just say it’s been over a year, do some tests and get some reassurance that you are ovulating and day 3s are ok

Dreading a BFN - this is the closest I've ever been to anything else!
My RHR took another 1bpm dip but I've still had no spotting or heavy cramping so I've saved my FMU in a cup until I feel brave enough to dip the FRER 🤣 I did dip a 25 unit cheapie stick which was negative so although I don't fully believe it, it's spooked me for the FRER 🤣

I eventually tested earlier - my sister convinced me 🤣 it was stark white! BFN! Fuming ha! Still absolutely no sign of AF though so I'm holding off for as long as I can and hoping she stays away! 🤞🏻✨

I've worked out that if I ovulated later around CD19 then with my usual luteal length (around 12 days) then I'd be due on today or tomorrow and still not even a hint ✨
I've been trying really hard to keep my hopes in perspective but I'm struggling now 🤣
If I can make it to Friday without AF I'll test again with a FRER (twin pack coming tomorrow!)

Our second wedding anniversary is Sunday 🥰 I so sooo hope I can give him a positive test 😭

I took another test today, as I’m on day 50. Still very firmly a negative. I knew it would be but it was disappointing anyway. Beer or two with tea tonight then 🍻

I am 100% taking the positive away from it that at least I know my luteal phase is definitely long enough - I've been 12 days both months that I've tracked OPKs so every cloud and all that...still wish I wasn't bleeding though 🙃😂

🤷🏼‍♀️ @mrswilso it is what it is, I guess. I’ve gone 84 days before, so at least it’s not that bad. It is a bit soul destroying tbh, like at least if I was regular, even if it was a long cycle, then I’d know, and even better if it was a normal length cycle because I’d feel like I was actually making progress forward, like I was actually in with a shot, but this is just shit.
DH and I spoke about it last night. He says he thinks I’m putting too much pressure on myself but I don’t really think I am? Like I want to get pregnant but I don’t fell like I’m ‘too’ stressed, just that it’s annoying that I’m not pregnant yet. He knows very little about the process if we still haven’t had any luck after a year so I talked that over with him and I think that reassured him that we’ll get somewhere, in the end, one way or another.
