Setting up this new thread for all the lovely ladies who have been on the ttc after miscarriage journey. And also all the ladies who have had their bfps but still want to stay in touch:)

Ah man @SunnySideUp2020. At least it is something that can be dealt with and you're not continuing on regardless.

I've been thinking back to my last AF. It was much longer than they have been since MC and there were many more clots too. I'm thinking that was possibly my body having a good clear out and getting ready for a proper cycle of a good length. What do you think?

Scrumdiddly I heard a temp dip could be implantation dip!?

@Ejb86 yes absolutely. We are trying to do everything to have a healthy pregnancy soon.

For the cycle it could be that for sure. I thinn for some people it takes longer and maybe that was your clear out! 🤞

@scrumdiddly123 that’s a very confusing chart. I’d have said CD29 for ov but because of the E CM it’s out it earlier I’d say. I wouldn’t worry about the last dip cause it’s still well above the cover line. I’d probably go with 4DPO like you from that.

@Sunnysideup2020 pretty crappy to have an infection but it is nice to get some answers and be able to treat something so 🤞 it’s cleared soon and there’ll be no issues TTC then!

Sorry you’ve got an infection @SunnySideUp2020 but hopefully the antibiotics clear it up and you can get back to TTC ASAP!
Thanks @Leok83, I’ve decided I’m not going to stress about the temps as normally I wouldn’t even have them to obsess over! Going to go with my original thinking that I’m 4dpo and not going to test until AF is due anyway (she says 😬) going to try my hardest anyway!

Morning:) cd9 and starting to get watery/ slightly stretchy cm so reckon its about a week away. Not obsessively doing opks or temping this month. Just dtd every other day

@Leok83 are you doing opks or anything?

@SunnySideUp2020 sorry that AF arrived! We are both into month 6 post miscarriage then. Thats great you have antibiotics to hopefully remove the infection. I was on docycycline after my miscarriage (as well as metronidazole)

@Ejb86 yayyy can't believe 8dpo :D that's awesome your cycle has lengthened. Let's hope there's a little baby brewing

@scrumdiddly123 yeah I don't think you ovulate 7 days ago I think you are 5dpo based in your chart :)

@Annny27 I'm doing ok thanks. CD35 and no AF or ovulation so starting to feel a bit frustrated. It's so annoying to know if AF had arrived when she should, I would be heading into FW again instead I'm here with no clue when anything's going to happen now. I had a bit of a rant yesterday to my husband because I just feel like my body is letting me down. It's never happened before and if it had happened in the 3months straight after when we were taking a break I'd be more accepting but why it's happening now when we've started ttc again is just super annoying. I feel like June is going to be a write off too and I really wanted to be pregnant again by June 😞 so just feeling a little sorry for myself about everything and I don't want to pester the GP again yet but how long without a period do I leave it?! I'm thinking 40 days as that's almost 2 weeks late... 🤷🏼‍♀️ I've never skipped a period before even when my stress levels were through the roof a few years ago (and I may have been drinking a lot more wine than I probably should have) I was still fairly regular.

I'm probably being a little bit of a drama llama as it's might just be one of them things and my period might appear and ovulation might resume as normal from next month but I just feel like somethings not working properly and this is the start of a tricky journey now 😒

Anyway, hope everyone else is ok

@scrumdiddly123 I'd agree with you based on your chart - I don't think you ovulated when ff is saying

@SunnySideUp2020 that's good news that they've identified the infection! It's scary that we can have these things and not know. It's good timing too as your antibiotics should just be finishing in time for you to try again this month?

Completely understand @Fizzl, must be so frustrating for you. Similar to me when I was waiting for the hcg to leave my system, just wanted to ttc but I couldn’t and had no idea when things would go back to normal! I would definitely go back to the gp soon if still no change and see what they suggest. I really hope it’s a short lived thing and your next cycle will be back to normal.
Thanks for looking at my chart and @Annny27 too! I’ve had some brown creamy cm last night and the same but more pinky this morning. So goodness knows what that is, I wouldn’t be surprised if AF arrived early as I think my hormones are still all over the place!

@Annny27 yes joining you in cycle 6...
I also had it after my MC since i had an infection and PID. But i guess because DP wasnt treated we reinfected each other !

How are you feeling about this cycle?

@Fizzl Really sorry this is happening to you if it's any consolation i would also be ranting if i were you. It doesnt help but you need to let the frustration out. And your poor husband probably can't understand it as men dont get that our system is a bit more complicated and demanding and therefore stressful for us to be working well in this department.
Whenever my ovulation is three days late i go nuts. I feel like i cant trust my body, that i am too old, that nothing is working etc...
Eventually everything fixes itself (most times) and things get back tp normal which i am sure will be your case when AF arrives.
But yeah... i feel you. So sending hugs basically 🤗

Could you ask the GP to do some blood test for hormone levels maybe?

And yes i should be done with antibiotics just for fertile week so that's good.

I think I will ask my GP to do some bloods. I'm sure they'll want to bang their heads and scream at me that they've already told me to wait 6 months but how was I to know my period would mysteriously disappear last time I rang them?!

Also, we technically started ttc last jan. First few months our timing was a little off as I didn't realise then that I ovulate slightly later. Then we took a break for 4 months before we then conceived on our first proper attempt. But if I gloss over the minute details I have now been ttc for 18months with one miscarriage behind me so hopefully they will sympathise 🙄

@Fizzl my heart goes out to you, it’s reallly tough not knowing what’s going on. I’d definitely be going back to the GP next week especially as you’ve never had irregular periods before.
@Ejb86 wow 8DPO already! So good that your cycle has lengthened so hopefully there’s a reason for that ☺️

@Annny27 I’ll prob start opk this weekend. Only creamy CM yet but I know last cycle I didn’t get much CM at all until day before ovulation. Apparently it’s just another thing that dries up as you get older😏

@fizzl yeah its very disheartening for you :( my due date is next week as I desperate wanted to be pregnant before then! But will just have to muddle through the day. My best friend sent me a card so say she was thinking of me as she knew my due date was coming up which was lovely 💗

Yeah I feel like I keep pestering the doctors too haha! I would wait till your period was a month late thats what they said to me. I had a very late cycle and they basically said oh it happens sometimes 🙄

@scrumdiddly123 let's hope the brown cm was impantation!! When will you test?

@Leok83 ah hopefully the ewcm comes soon. I have had some slippery but not quite ewcm :)

@sunnysideup2020 will you use opks this month? Or is this the month you have your tests?

Not sure when I’ll test @Annny27, depends if I get any pregnancy symptoms over the next few days. Usually by 9dpo I’ll have noticeable symptoms so may test from 11dpo if that’s the case! 🤞🏻I’ve woken with dark brown spotting this morning though so not feeling hopeful!

@Annny27 that's really thoughtful of your friend! I'm not sure I've ever really told anyone when our exact due date was but people know it was June. Muddling through the day is all we can do I think. It's funny how significant the date seems. I keep trying to remind myself that it's really unlikely the baby would have arrived on their due date so I should try and not get too caught up about it all but it's hard. Will you do anything special on the day?

I think my GP will be quite dismissive too and just put it down to me not ovulating this month 🙄 I'm trying all the old wives tales now to bring on AF!

Good luck to everyone else who's going to be testing soon. There's not many of us left now so I'm sure it will be someone's turn for a BFP soon 💐

AF arrived. Feel like eating my body weight in chocolate and hiding from the world. It is good that I had a 9 day lp though, that is much better than 5 day LP.

@fizzl yeah it feels weird because I could have had the baby slightly early and have had a baby by now! Just feels like a significant day. We probably will just have a glass of prosecco to toast our angel baby and pray for the rainbow haha 🌈

Morning @Annny27, we’re so lucky with this weather! I’m painting our pergola today and got a hello fresh box for dinner- would love a bbq though!
7-9dpo today and feel fine, had a little bit of brown spotting yesterday morning which has stopped now and have felt really tired the last two afternoons/evenings! Going to try and hold off testing until Monday at least!
How about you @ELM7 any symptoms?

7dpo and no real symptoms here and desperately trying not to symptom spot hoping on staying strong and not testing until next Sat but I hate week 2 of TWW it always drag so much.

@ELM7 I honestly thing my pregnancy and AF symptoms are identical haha
