@Abi0795 I would say you have ovulated! Mine are sometimes still high after ovulation but if you have had your peak, the cm and pains then its safe to say you probably have!

@fizzl one of the girls on another thread is doing self insemination now as she is so tired of dtd ....i don't blame her haha

Hi @Annny27 I hope so, my body is all over the place after the miscarriage. My lines are fainter on the tests now after I got that dark one so it must have happened.

Even my CM is different to what it used to be, but maybe we just over think more after a loss 💆🏼‍♀️

Thank you for your advice xxx

Abi0795 · 05/08/2020 13:43

@Annny27 Would you say that first test was a peak or nearly there? I'm not very good at reading them xxx

Leok83 · 05/08/2020 13:52

@Fizzl that's so good you have all the signs of ovulation!! Thank god it hasn't taken forever this cycle even if it's delayed a little!!

Best of luck to you and @Annny27 in the TWW!! And all the other ladies joining you!!xx

Annny27 · 05/08/2020 14:19

@abi0795 I think it was very nearly there and you probably peaked overnight:)

@leok83 thanks lovely! I saw that your scan went well:D and you are also on the joyous progesteron suppositories now as well?

@Annny27

I think my progesterone is somethings low in cycles, first time I had my 21 day bloods it was only 16.5 second time was 30.5, when my second loss was taking place it was only 4. 5 I will deffo mention it to my fertility specialist when I get to c him again. Have you been told to take aspirin when you get a bfp.

Annny27 · 05/08/2020 14:32

@Babyghirl no i haven't been told that about the aspirin- I have only had one miscariage so perhaps that's why? Did they day that to you

I have had variable progesterone (well not confirmed but suspected through short LPs and spotting) since the miscarriage so giving this a go for a few months 🤞🤞

@Annny27

My own doc told me nxt time I get a bfp to start taking aspirin, it was me who mentioned it to her thou or other ways I don't think she would off said anything to me about it. I know it can't harm anything and I wana feel like I'm doing anything to help keep the nxt pregnancy. Look it up I have read some good success stories of people who have took it after a loss and went on to have healthy babies, they do say that they don't know if it was the aspirin but it was the only thing they done different and feel it was the aspirin that helped.

Mococo1 · 05/08/2020 16:47

@Babyghirl

I'm currently pregnant (6w but having an early scan next week due to some bleeds so I'm not hopeful this pregnancy will make it either) after two consecutive miscarriages - so think this may be my third

I've been taking progesterone cream I bought online but am thinking I should top up with some aspirin..do you know the safest dose or was anything recommended X

Babyghirl · 05/08/2020 17:16

@Mococo1
My doc told me low dose so that's 75mg here in the UK or 81 if in the states you can buy it over the counter phone your doc and ask them most off them tell you no only because they recommend it after 3 losses. Praying your bean sticks but I was going to take aspirin without my docs say so anyway as I have been reading up on it loads and it won't hurt. 💚💚💚

Mococo1 · 05/08/2020 17:57

@babyghirl Thank you I've just purchased 75mg and will take as soon as I get it - exactly I don't see the harm if there are no negative side effect to taking it! X

Babyghirl · 05/08/2020 17:58

Having right side pain nw so hoping ovulation is happening hopefully my temp rises tomara to confirm 🤗🤗🤗🤗. My oh is heading to work nw tired after waking him this morning to baby dance 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Nuggetlover27 · 05/08/2020 18:53

Evening ladies.
Hope you're all doing good. Seems a few of you are headed into TWW. My fingers are crossed for you all!

Have any of you used these pre pregnancy tablets before? If you have what did you think of them?
I picked some up but haven't used any yet. I've just been taking folic acid each day but I was thinking of switching to these.

Leok83 · 05/08/2020 19:02

@Annny27 yes I did get the delightful progesterone pessaries too, starting to use them tonight. Honestly I think I'd prefer if they'd just measured my progesterone rather than prescribed them for 5 weeks. I don't think I'm particularly lacking in it, no spotting or anything, but then if I don't use it I'll be kicking myself if anything happens!

Fizzl · 06/08/2020 08:40

Still no peak opk for me yet 😒 just when you think you can predict what your body is doing 🤨

I'm fairly sure I am building up to ovulate tho, the tell tale signs are all still there! Think my body is just keeping me on my toes!

@Annny27 self insemination is looking like a promising option at this rate 😂😂

Babyghirl · 06/08/2020 09:29

Still no temp rise for me another drop today thou, so hoping I have a rise tomara my cm has dryed up which normally happens day of ovulation. Oh in bed after niteshift and I start at 2 do you girls think I should baby dance today for good luck 💚💚💚💚

Babyghirl · 06/08/2020 09:32

@fizzl
Hoping your egg drops soon and you hit the tww.

SunnySideUp2020 · 06/08/2020 11:37

To the ladies wanting to take aspirin. I enquired previously and was told it should only be the case if you have a clotting disorder.
Otherwise can cause heart problems in the fetus ...
My GP advised against self medicating aspiring to avoid MC. So please be careful!!! X

@Fizzl hope ovulation i near for you 🥚

@Annny27 how is the tww?
Getting the bfp in a cycle where i had nothing to spot really made me realise i was being obsessed for no reason previously 😅
But then again, how to stay sane ?!

Annny27 · 06/08/2020 13:26

Afternoon :)

@sunnysideup2020 4dpo today and the boobs (and boots;)) are heavy so the progesterone has kicked in for sure! Good advise around self medicating, I would also advise against it unless your doctor has said so :D how are you feeling?

@babyghirl sounds like your body has geared up for ovulation so fingers crossed for the temp rise tomorrow!

@fizzl sometimes I have a slow LH rise and other time super quick! So probs a slower rise for you this month

@Nuggetlover27 I havent heard or seen those ones. I take the seven seas ones which is folic acid and then a few other multi vitamins!

Babyghirl · 06/08/2020 13:59

@Annny27

I had the pain last nite on my rightside, I know the pain can be before during or after ovulation so hoping I had it yesterday and ovulation is happening today woke poor oh up for his sleep to fit another session in 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but to make it look good his football top was out today so went and treated him lol💚💚

SunnySideUp2020 · 06/08/2020 14:26

Hahah @Annny27 glad to hear the boots (or books 📚) are reacting to the progesterone! Will definitely help in the event of a fertilised egg trying to nest!!
Fingers crossed !!!!!!!!
You MUST join the other side 😬

Fizzl · 06/08/2020 19:30

Well I think my opk's peaked late morning which seemed to come from nowhere. And oddly since then they've been a lot lighter which would mean my peak only lasted a few hours. So now I'm wondering if this is a slow rise for me this month and I've not peaked yet?!Time will tell...

I have to take aspirin from a positive test now. With my last pregnancy it was from 6 weeks and obviously that didn't end well (although probably unrelated to my blood) so this time I've been told as a precaution to take aspirin from positive test and then I'll be on blood thinning injections from 6 weeks this time. But I do have a minor blood clotting disorder. I've never been told about there being any risks to the baby from aspirin though which is worrying! I thought it was totally safe - I'm not going to google as I will work myself into a frenzy and for me the risks of not taking it probably outweigh taking it 😬. But definitely don't self-medicate! I think there is some possible evidence to suggest if you take it before a BFP it can prevent implantation but I don't know for sure.

Leok83 · 06/08/2020 23:23

@Fizzl yay for ovulation! Hopefully that was definitely it and you'll now enter the joyous TWW!
I've been put on aspirin 100mg now too and progesterone due to having 2 previous losses even though my bloods all came back normal for clotting issues. They seem to do it as a precaution anyways despite the results.
A low dose aspirin is safe (as long as it has been prescribed) to baby..the effects on baby such as heart problems are seen with higher dose aspirin which is definitely not recommended!

For anyone thinking of getting their own aspirin from chemist though I definitely wouldn't take it unprescribed as first of all you would need to know you don't have any clotting disorders (as in can't clot rather than a tendency to throw clots) as this would be very dangerous then. Also when they have prescribed it for you that will be taken into consideration at all visits in future and it would be important for your midwife to know you are taking it. And unless it's prescribed I can't imagine they will be happy to let you keep taking it. Lastly you will need to know when to come off it too and that will be decided by the doctors.

Annny27 · 07/08/2020 08:47

Morning girls :D

@fizzl exactlt what @Leok83 says if you genuinely need it then they can prescribe the correct amounts so I wouldnt stress about it :)

@fizzl sometimes my surges are suped short! So yayy we are in the tww together :D

@SunnySideUp2020 yes I soooooo want to join you all 😭😭😭💗💗💗

@Babyghirl our poor other halfs are used and abused during fertile week 🤣🤣
