Hello everyone,

I am 37 going on 38 in December. TTC baby number 3. Came off the pill on the 1st may (2020). Previously I was on syanna press( depo).
I ovulated yesterday 😊
I only just finished my period on the 9th so didn't expect ovulation just yet. Also I am very new to using ovulation test. This is my second time using it. I am using the easy@home brand.
I have two boys ages 15 and 3years.❤️

Hi everyone!
I’m back again, cd11 for me today and had what I think might be classed as ewcm so hopefully in my fertile window. I did an ovulation test yesterday and it wasn’t positive, will do more today and see if it’s getting stronger. I wouldn’t be expecting to ovulate until cd14 or so so will see.
Need to make sure we dtd plenty this week.
How is everyone else doing?
Oh and I’m also in the cougar club....my partner is 8 years younger than me at 29😍
I sometimes wonder how I bagged him lol.
But he’s way more mature than most guys I know my own age, and even more mature than my ex husband who was older than me by a few years!

No cougar club for me. DH is 4yrs older and really worried about being an old dad. So many of his friends now have 10yr olds and we're hoping for another now. I know I'm older than I would have liked to be having a second but I'm not old yet! (38 next month)

So the day before yesterday I wiped and got very faint pink on the tissue, which is always how AF starts. However, yesterday nothing, today nothing so far.

So I decided 20 mins ago, against my better judgement, to do a test. WHY do I do this to myself?!

@Moominmiss exactly the same here- 8 years age difference and my man is most definitely more mature than my ex H! I feel the same when I think about it I laugh as I never ever thought I’d be with someone younger... I do feel slightly smug when ex H picks up my little one looking old, grey and haggard 😂😂 and dp is full of the joys of spring looking fresh, fit and fun 👍

@Szalinski bfn? I’d be doing it to myself too if my cheap amazon tests were not delayed... don’t be hard on yourself x

I think my body might just be having a joke at my expense this month. AF is due to start properly tomorrow (I'm never late) and always starts with a gradual build up from two days before but because I had nothing yesterday or this morning, I stupidly thought I might be pregnant.

I think I'll end up being a few days late this month, just for shits and grins!

@Szalinski our bodies do like to play tricks on us! At least your mind isn’t and you accept the test is a bfn ... I’m so 🥜 id probably be squinting at it trying to make myself see a line that isn’t there 🤣🤪 gosh this process makes us so crazy and I am concerned as this is only cycle one... I gotta try and chill I don’t think I can handle the pressure and obsession I had prior to conceiving my 4 year old 😕

@MrsTtobe af is due around 4th June give or take a day. I am guessing I’m 7/8dpo today and yesterday I started to feel pms symptoms- irritated by everything dp did, total mood swings! For no reason at all. This would be usual at this stage of the month (poor dp I know) so feeling it’s just a normal pms month and that af will arrive as scheduled 😫

So much respect for you ladies going through this every month! One of the positives of IVF for me is knowing that I’ll know exactly when to stress about whether it’s worked or not

I'll admit I did squint, looked at it from various angles and even shined a light on it

But no, I had to tell myself to get a grip, it's clearly negative. So annoyed, we tried VERY hard this month!

@Szalinski don't be too hard on yourself love! We've all been there. I just hate pg tests! They give me anxiety. Buying them. Doing them. Looking at them. I come out in a cold sweat. 😂 I just can't take the bfn empty line. So I just don't buy them until I'm at least a few days late. I think ive only ever took 2 that have been negative and 3 positive! So 5 in my whole life 😂

@Loladoodle yasssss! The bit about ex picking the kids up. We dropped my son off the other day and I couldn't help looking at him and thinking he'd aged really badly in the last 5 years! Then i glanced across at my partner all tall, dark and fit.🙈😂

@Szalinski it’s tough going isn’t it? My first was conceived from one accidental dtd and my second took 3 years (Plus a mc) and a hella lot of stress... I really do believe what will be will be... but it’s difficult not to obsess in the meantime.

Thanks ladies, yes it's extremely frustrating. I also conceived by 'accident' two yrs ago. We only dtd once, on CD5 which by some miracle resulted in a pregnancy! Unfortunately it ended in miscarriage at 8 weeks. So to have tried so damn hard this month and nothing. It's hard to stay pragmatic

I really don't know when to test- feeling like I've started symptom spotting already. Feels like AF- but only 3-4 DPO, heaviness and bit of cramping- but hey could be wind for all I know! 😂 Trying to wait until 7th but knowing myself it's highly unlikely I'll get to that date to test! 🙈

Still no AF for me - 2 days late now. But still only negative tests! No idea what's going on...

Aw hey all.. Im the opposite also my fiance is 7 years older im 36 but he looks and acts younger. His amazing with my 3 kiddies and so hope we get to have one together soon..
Im 3 days late with but disheartened everytime I test and get bfn last test was monday.. Not sure if its just long cycle from having implant removed.
Wish i could turn my head off and just become pregnant without any stress x

@Matilda19 it's so annoying isn't it! I'm wondering whether my cycles are a bit messed up since the miscarriage - I think it takes a while to get back to normal. Fingers crossed for you as well 😊

Yeah maybe its just body recovering and back to normal.
I don't know why i expected body to be ready to go after 7 years of implant positive thoughts and all that.
But suppose untill af arrives were not out yet x

I’m trying to live my poas addiction through everyone else 😅 feeling much more rational today though... prepared to wait it out.. don’t feel this is my cycle and I want to prepare myself for that- going to Look forward to enjoying my weekend and all this lovely sunshine ☀️ My new focus today is to live life to the full and what will be will be. (Dont judge me when I return to crazy please 🤪it won’t be long)

music M4v3r1ck thanks for your kind words. DH is very much 'oh well, i'm sure it'll happen next month (whilst being secretly elected that he gets lots of sex for another month!). So yes we'll be trying again next cycle but I just want AF to get a bloody move on now so I can move on.
I'm definitely feeling the pressure as i'll be 38 soon, DH is early 40's and my cut off is the end of the year. God I was so naive, I honestly thought it would happen straight away. How silly was that!

spotty sorry to hear your AF is late, that must be so frustrating if you're testing negative and especially if you have regular cycles. I've never been late in my life (apart from two other pregnancies) and always spot for two days before - apart from this month! I suspect I will also end up being late for no good reason
