Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

Do people regularly chart BBT? I've been doing it for the first time this month and now starting to freak out as my temps are all really high? Like 36.5 - 36.7 consistently I'm CD11 but have read they're supposed to be low in the first half of the cycle more like 36.1 and then rise after ovulation!

Does anyone else chart/ have any light to shed? Thanks in advance xxx

@TTCgee I've only been charting one full month but I have femometer premium so can nosey at other people's charts and people are so different I think it's more about finding your own pattern and seeing a rise after ovulation, when are you expecting ovulation?

Thanks @SmileyT that's put my mind at ease a little! I'm hoping I do get a rise at ovulation and then it stays up and that I just have a higher than average temp! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Flo is saying 5 days and Fermometer 6 days so somewhere around there I think! I've had positive OPKs the last few months but decided to temp this month too to double check it was actually happening (ironically to put my mind at ease 😭)

I've put my chart so far here ... it's a bit all over the shop but does seem high?

@SmileyT Think I'd love looking at other people's charts, love stuff like that. There's a thread about RHR on MN too that I keep checking in on and comparing!

@TTCgee It's resting heart rate. Not much scientific research out there about it but when I got pregnant in Feb my HR increased to mid 70s, when I found about my MMC, I looked over my trends and my HR dropped around the time the MC would have happened. There is some evidence that HR increases/decreases with ovulation AF etc. It's no where near as accurate as BBT though!

Hello ladies, I'm new here and just wondering if anyone could help me or direct me to the correct thread?

I've been with TTC (trying to conceive) with my partner for almost 10 months. I came off the depo injection September 2019 and my periods returned to normal in January 2020. They've all been 28 cycles which is unusual for me.

This month I noticed brown light spotting on what would of been 5dpo then had it again 6po then havent had anything since. I'm now 9dpo today and took a HPT yesterday and it was negative. I've had cramps, feeling sick and cant sleep these past few days.

Am I out this month or is there hope?!

@Caitlinr05 9dpo is still early, this all sounds promising wait until your period is due to test

@Caitlinr05 I agree with @lucymagoo when is AF due? That's when I'd test!

I agree it's too early I'm just so impatient haha! My AF is due in 6 days so I'm still holding onto to hope.

@TTCgee yeah my BBT was a bit more sporadic first month but seemed to settle second month. I've attached both charts so you can have a nosey (and you @33Carr ) I love looking at it all.

With resting heart rate i think that's much more personal to people, mine is high around ovulation and then goes back up until AF again but others have different patterns. Month I got pg it was a steep shoot upwards but probably wouldn't have been able to see any difference in TWW.

Yeah I'm gonna try not to stress until I've done a couple of months of testing to see if it settles at all! Wish I'd not googled as it said women with follicular phase temps of 36.5 and above can struggle to get preg and mine are always around 36.7 ish so stressed myself out.

But, I guess everyone's different so I'm gonna try not to stress until I speak to a GP about it all properly xxx

@TTCgee yeah I genuinely believe if you google anything it can convince us we're definitely pregnant or definitely can never get pregnant 🙈

I can't wait to get to fertile week now, might start opks just for fun today 😂

Has anyone else noticed all of the twinges and cramps that last month had me going "oooh could be implantation!" Are just normal body things I get month round 😂

@SmileyT 😩😂😂 so true! My OH literally says every day 'don't even bother googling it as you'll only read the stuff you want to find' which is SO true! Haha ...

I'm thinking the exact same! Gonna start OPK from tomorrow just so I can feel like I'm doing something haha xx

I'm going to try bbt this month too, just hope OH doesn't think I've lost it lol

I'm starting my OPKs tomorrow, due to ovulate on the 27th according to fem app!

@lucymagoo yesss! I convince myself EVERY single thing is a sign in those bloody two weeks. Haha. . Then rest of the month I could get a sore back / a twinge / a sensitive nipple and think absolutely nothing as I know it can't be 😂

@lucymagoo totally agree, I took really good notes last month so hopefully I'll know what is normal for next month not read too much into it 🤪

@TTCgee yeah last month I tried the premium week before AF and decided that if I didn't get preg I'd just try it, think it was £15 for 3 months and tbh I'm not spending money on much else right now so why not.

@33Carr I did my first opk this afternoon and will just carry on doing them when I get in from work everyday... my first one was much darker than last month at this time (attached for fun) and OH has been trying to convince me that we need to DTD just in case but I'm taking my week off 😂

I'm due to ovulate 29th May, so nice having this group where we will all be reaching ovulation next week and then go into TWW together 🥰

@SmileyT My flo app says I'm due on the 29th too! I'm planning on testing at 14DPO, how about everyone else?

@SewingAddict419 my LP is 13 days so earliest I'll test is 12dpo, already excited for the TWW 😂

I'm due AF on the 9th June so I'll wait until 10th if it doesn't show!!

I got into bad habits of testing about 4 times a month so now I force myself to wait for AF! Somehow even though it's really disappointing I find that easier to accept then seeing a negative test! I don't really know why! Xxx

@TTCgee I actually saw my first ever BFN last cycle and wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but probably because i knew I wasn't pregnant (BBT was a big help with this as the drop was clear) and really wanted to enjoy a bottle of wine without worry that night 🍷
