Hi all,

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

Hey @SmileyT ☺️ I think I'm going to test on the 11th, which would be 12DPO, so just a day behind you. This is my first time testing though, so part of me is tempted to hold on until 14 days to see if AF arrives.

That makes a lot of sense. We've been going from CD5 to CD25 so far, generally every other day but twice a few days in a row when I thought I might be in the fertile week. I think perhaps we might go for it slightly less in the TWW but won't stop all together, especially if I'm not entirely sure I've actually ovulated - wouldn't want to miss an opportunity! Xx

@Amnah26 ahhh chuffed to bits for you! 🥰🥰 huge congratulations! 🥳

And a valentines baby at that🥰🥰

TTCgee · 04/06/2020 18:27

@SmileyT @MintGreenLife I'll be hopefully testing on the 11th with you both (unless AF rocks up on the 10th) I'm nervous but excited.

I pretty much counted myself out this month as had no temp rise until about 3 days after my LH surge and my cervix had gone low.

However, my temp is now rising (I'll attach a chart in the next message) and my cervix feels John again so I'm now irrational to excited. Also feel v sick and crampy... however I'm pretty sure I've had all these symptoms before and nothing but still nice to have a bit of hope again. Xxx

Just following on from last message!

Testing around 11th June
SmileyT · 04/06/2020 18:39

@MintGreenLife @TTCgee hopefully we all get our BFPs on the 11th June 🙌🏾 and yeah I think dialling back a bit in TWW can be nice @Mint and that graph looks really good keeping above that coverline @TTCgee your temp is so high compared to mine i love seeing other people's charts makes me realise how different we all are ☺️

MintGreenLife · 04/06/2020 18:44

So nice to have people to test with ☺️ @SmileyT @TTCgee

Think your chart is looking pretty good now @ttcgee?? I had a rise today after quite a big dip, so will see what the next few days look like. Did you mean your cervix is high again? I think mine feels lower now, but I've only been tracking it for a couple of weeks now so hard to say x

TTCgee · 04/06/2020 18:44

@SmileyT I got really worried when I first started temping as mine was sooo high compared to others - there are studies that say a follicular phase temp as high as mine can hinder fertility... but I'm just hoping that's not the case 🙏🏼

I'm just glad it's got higher in the second half! I was worried it would just stay constant with no rise so at least that's something! 💕

TTCgee · 04/06/2020 18:45

@MintGreenLife @SmileyT fingers crossed for us all on the 11th! Xxxx

MintGreenLife · 04/06/2020 18:54

What does your average temp seem to be @SmileyT sure it won't be an issue ☺️ My lowest so far is 36.3 and highest is 36.8, but in no particular order 🙈 Maybe it'll make more sense when I have a couple more charts to compare to x

notyetamumbuttrying · 04/06/2020 20:47

What an amazing date for a baba @Amnah26 wishing you all the best 🥳

PirateWeasel · 04/06/2020 20:53

@TTCgee that's exactly it. I'm 9dpo today so it could well be implantation but I daren't get my hopes up. Took 7 cycles to get lucky last time so trying not to get excited this early in the process! Congratulations Amnah, that's amazing news!!

SmileyT · 04/06/2020 21:21

@MintGreenLife @TTCgee my highest was 36.59 last month and lowest was 35.89, I didn't know it was good or bad to have a base higher or lower. Tbh the more I read the more I realise that people that don't tick any of the boxes get pregnant and those that have everything perfect take years it's just one of life's wonders so no point stressing too much xx

TTCgee · 04/06/2020 22:04

@SmileyT very good advice! Thanks for always being so positive! 🥰🥰

eastcoastgirl · 04/06/2020 22:34

Can I join you all?

This is our 2nd cycle ttc our first. We're both 33 and I'm already feeling like the eggs I've got left might not be up to much anymore! I had a copper coil removed at the end of December, we tried January with no success 😔 even though I didn't really expect to get pregnant first time, but then took a little break. May was our 2nd cycle. I'm now on CD22 and AF is due 10th June and I'm climbing the walls waiting until I can test!

It seems that most of you on here have been tracking your temperatures and doing the sticks. I've not done either of those, but I've being using the clear view advance digital monitor, which put my peak days at CD11 and 12 - I guess that makes me 12 post ovulation?

I've been feeling sooo tired these last couple of days, and I've read fatigue can be an early sign of pregnancy, but I think maybe I'm just wishful thinking there? 😔

Nice to read all your stories and feel like there are others out there who understand how long these 2 weeks are! X

Sussexbysea · 05/06/2020 06:04

@eastcoastgirl morning and welcome to our thread.

TTC is hard work isn’t it? I’m currently 2 years in to TTC for baby no 2. I only track my ovulation, I’ve given the temperatures a miss. I don’t want the added stress, this is a personal choice and nothing against the other girls on here ☺️

Morning everyone. Last month when I tested, I peed on a stick and then when I wiped there AF was.
This month, I think AF is coming again. You know when you get that dull achey feeling? Urgh

SmileyT · 05/06/2020 06:44

Hi @eastcoastgirl 👋 it's a nightmare when ttc especially when all the pre-menstrual and early pregnancy signs are so similar. If you had your first peak on CD11 you probably ovulate somewhere between CD11 and CD13 so yeah about 10-12dpo now, will you wait until the 10th to test? Xx

SmileyT · 05/06/2020 06:45

@Sussexbysea ahh really hope that it's not AF for you this morning, willing her to stay away from you x

Teamom1605 · 05/06/2020 06:48

Hi everyone,
I'm new here, I was wondering does anyone of you ladies tracks their resting HR this cycle. AF is due 10th June, and O was on 27th May. I thought I was out this month because my rhr has been dropping since O day, but today is up by 2bpm. I promised myself I wouldn't test before Tuesday. Some advice, please :)

SmileyT · 05/06/2020 07:04

@Teamom1605 what does your RHR normally do? everyone is different so I guess it's about looking for something unusual for you. My RHR drops between period and Ovulation and then rises to AF but if yours normally drops towards AF and it's rising this month that could be a good sign 🤞

Teamom1605 · 05/06/2020 07:14

@SmileyT, it usually drops until AF and stays low until ovulation, but this month it dropped faster than usual and now is up, guess I will have to wait to see whats happening in couple of next days. It will be hard to hold symptom spotting and POAS at bay till Tuesday :\ ... 7th month of TTC for me hoping this June will bring BFPs for all of us :)

Sussexbysea · 05/06/2020 07:15

@SmileyT me too hun.

I’ve decided I’m going to test tomorrow. And the only tests I have are clearblue digital 🙈

MrsSam88 · 05/06/2020 07:37

Hi, I’ve awake since 5 fretting about my cramps and sore boobs convinced af on its way. I’m 9dpo so thought I’m taking a test fully expecting a negative. I got this 5 minutes ago, is that a very faint line?

Testing around 11th June
Teamom1605 · 05/06/2020 07:41

@MrsSam88 I definitely see a really faint line there, congrats :)

eastcoastgirl · 05/06/2020 08:09

@SmileyT I'm going to try to! It feels like the 10th is taking forever to get here though!

@Sussexbysea I'm so sorry to hear that it's taking so long for you, really hope that this month is your month 🤞🏻🤞🏻
What is RHR? So many acronyms to learn! You all seem to be much more scientific about things than me, and I thought using the clearblue ovulation tests was getting serious 🙈
