Testing around 11th June

Following on from the previous thread of ‘testing around 13th May’. So many people messaged to say they found the group useful so I thought I’d recreate one.

Everyone is welcome and look forward to hearing everyone’s stories.

I'm not sure to be honest. I know that it feels different in pregnancy, but I'm not sure how long into pregnancy the changes occur. A quick Google should answer that ☺️ Make sure you're careful, and obviously if it feels uncomfortable then stop. If I'm honest I was freaked out first time I did it as I had no clue it felt like a fleshy ball (sounds so gross!). I always imaged it was flat but turns out it's not 😂

Hahaha oh gosh. Okay I’ll make sure I’m prepared I don’t think I’ve ever ‘delved’ that far in to be honest but I may have felt it before without realising! I also thought it would be flat!! Xx

I've tried to feel for my cervix a couple of times but totally clueless lol! My OPK this evening is definitely getting darker now so maybe tomorrow is ovulation day rather than today!

@33Carr yay that's great! I'm convinced I've missed my surge this month now, which does make me feel a lot better. I've looked into it further and seems surge can actually last as little as 10 hours so could have easily missed it x

@MintGreenLife Yeah I missed mine last month and then after reading I realized it's actually pretty easy to do as surges can be so short in duration. Definitely going to stick to testing twice a day if I need to next month! Day many DPO does that make you now then?

@33Carr it's obviously quite easily done then! Did you see any increase at all on your OPKs when you missed your surge? If I'm right I'll be 3DPO now ☺️ Best lay off the weekend glass of wine or two for the meantime!

@Freddie15VES I don't really know about the early tests, I see a lot of people go with FRER when they are testing early, if you are waiting until AF is due most tests will pick it up I think x

@MintGreenLife I had a little change but nothing compared to what I've had today! Have you decided what day your going to test on then? 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 for you!

@MintGreenLife well that was an experience! I thought I felt it...then nope I FELT IT. How strange! I did not expect it to feel like that!! I’m not sure how I feel now haha! But yes, it’s very high and quite firm. Googled it, says if firm not pregnant...so we’ll see haha what an evening xxx

@33Carr that's all I had a few days ago, just a slight increase in the line but nothing noteable, the day after it was fainter and then even fainter still today, so hopefully that was the tail end of the surge that I caught and that's why it's been getting fainter since.

I think I'll test on the 10th of June as that's the day my app is predicting AF is due, although I would have ovulated three days earlier than the app said. Thanks so much ☺️ Let me know if you get your positive OPK tomorrow 😀

@Freddie15VES haha well done for finding it! I'm not sure how soon the cervix would change after implantation, so may not mean much early on ☺️ When are you testing? X

I’m due on around the 3rd according to my Ovia App and when my last period was. So I’ll wait until then and see if I’ve missed it, then test! Xx

@MintGreenLife Yeah that's makes sense! I'm testing on the 10th too! Just hope I can hold out till then haha! It will be good knowing I have a testing buddy! I'll keep you updated if I get my +ve tomorrow!

@33Carr ah brilliant! Likewise, will be fab to have a testing buddy. I'm going to try my absolute best to hold out until then. I've seen quite a few women say they tested early and got a negative and then a positive later after AF was due, so think I best try and avoid any unnecessary disappointment. Yes keep me updated and stay in touch ☺️

My CM seems to have changed. Yesterday it was definitely egg white consistency and really stretchy so we DTD. Today it's turned more jelly like with a bit of blood in it not sure if that's likely to be implantation or what

Yeah it sounds to me like you may have just missed the surge but hopefully you still caught it anyway!!

@Freddie15VES I got SO freaked out the first time I felt mine! Haha I was like what the hell is this little lump! It is sooo strange how it goes from low to high throughout the month but it makes me feel better knowing that it does move about/ makes me hope something is at least happening! Haha xx

@Smushty14 hey! Think it may be a little early for implantation however some people do get a little bit of blood when they ovulate so it might be something to do with that? Maybe just keep an eye on how it changes over the next few days xxx

@TTCgee yes it’s a strange one! Mine seemed verrrrrrrry high up haha! I am learning a lot about things!! Xx
