Hi ladies 💕

13dpo today and af is imminent as temp dropped to cover line plus a bfn. So who's joining me?
TTC #1
This will be cycle 13 since mmc (Feb 19) but been TTC since June 2018 so a horribly momentous month for me.

Bought some vitamins recommended by it starts with the egg for this month and also male conception tablets for DH. So we shall see 🤞🏼

Lots of luck and baby dust to everyone 🍀🌈💕

@Katao yay for that flashing face! 🎉

lucyrp · 19/05/2020 07:25

@Cocoblue22 I have learnt my lesson I won't be sharing any of my sensitive TTC moments with her that's for sure, maybe not even my BFP when it comes either as she'll still manage to convince me I'm not. We will carry on DTD as much as possible!😂

@Katao yeah I think ideally il be ovulating towards the end of this week or at the very latest middle of next week so will have to hang in and see what happens

Juno231 · 19/05/2020 07:28

@lucyrp definitely not bfp as she sounds like she'd give "helpful" comments about it being early and how you could still have a miscarriage. One of those people that would tell you not to get too excited about your first scan in case there's no heartbeat 🙊

lucyrp · 19/05/2020 07:31

@Juno231 you have hit the nail on the head there! 🙈When I had a faint positive before my CP she was telling me I wasn't and not being supportive at all and my other closest friend was ringing me up screaming down the phone because she was so happy for me!

Minster2012 · 19/05/2020 07:45

@Katao good news on your flashing 😀! I’m on day 3 of flashing smile now & so keen for it to turn static, was hoping for today but maybe I’m just a day behind @Skip86 & it will be tomorrow

Didn’t feel great yesterday & it was a day off DTD so tonight & if static tomorrow that would also be 4 nights in a row if we then do the 3 so I might have to pull out the porn & sexy pics!

BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum · 19/05/2020 07:58

@33Carr it’s this one
www.bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk/performance-charge-40-serving

I quite like it, it makes your face go tingly and itchy and doesn’t stop until you sweat it away!

@Skip86 hi! Yes it’s a very glamorous disease isn’t it 😂 I have recto vaginal fistulas too with seton sutures in and it’s just delightful. Wouldn’t give my bag back if I could though, they took all my large bowel so I have it for life but I love it! Quality of life before compared to after is like night and day.

I ordered a bbt thermometer but it’s not come in yet so using my ear one for now. Temp 37.5 this morning. I take immunosuppressants though which fuck up my body temp so god knows.

Off for first pee in cup of the day! Both IC yesterday showed negative and ovia says I’m due to ovulate today so will see what happens

MrsDh2019 · 19/05/2020 08:02

Morning everyone ! Definitely not implantation- had a heavier flow of red blood in the night 😩 never mind ! Onto the next cycle 🤞🏼 X

LittleRa · 19/05/2020 08:14

@Skip86 Weird, I hope that’s what happens to me too- a one time thing. Maybe a side effect of my first ovulation off the pill in years?!

BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum · 19/05/2020 08:15

Hee haw on this one

Yesterday’s was darker but still lighter than the control line, have I missed it?

Katao · 19/05/2020 08:20

Aw sorry to hear that @MrsDh2019, i had my fingers crossed for you. As you say, fresh start now.
@Minster2012 hope you get your static soon. Really hoping I do too. Have only 2 CB sticks left. I'm usung ic opks too but it will feel very anti climatic if i dont see that static!

BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum · 19/05/2020 08:25

What’s the cb machine thing like?

33Carr · 19/05/2020 08:33

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum Thank you! Looks like it has great reviews!!

@TTCgee Hiiii 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ I'm over here too!!

I don't BBT as I work on call/night shifts so sometimes I don't get much/any sleep. Wouldn't really work properly then would it?

Minster2012 · 19/05/2020 08:34

@MrsDh2019 that sucks I’m sorry it came on more 😥

@Katao yes me too I’ve got 4 sticks left now I think & was hoping not to order any more this cycle

I felt so rubbish yesterday I was sure ovulation was on its ways 🤔

SmileyT · 19/05/2020 08:46

@KRK05 I'm good thanks 🙏 very much the same really, cheap opks, CB, SMEP, temping and I've added a couple supplements, I'm now taking about 8 🤣 what are you tracking your bbt on? I actually upgraded my femometer app just to look at other people's graphs 🙈

Yay to a static smily @Skip86 think that was my favourite day of the month last month 🤗

@MrsDh2019 definitely focus on this next cycle hoping it's a lucky one for you x

Katao · 19/05/2020 09:13

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum the CB is good, it takes the guessing out of opks. They are expensive though, i probably wont buy more as the ic opks do the job really. I have been very lucky with the one box i bought though. I had been trying for nearly a year ttc#1 and bought CB to try bext cycle but got my bfp so there was no next cycle, then ttc#2 i used the CB and got bfp first month! I'm now cycle 2 of ttc#3 so using the remainder of that same box (didn't use them cycle 1 as they are a good bit out of date but then said sure why not, might bring me luck snd using ic opks too as back up)

Skip86 · 19/05/2020 09:14

Ah bummer @MrsDh2019 😩 here's hoping June is the lucky cycle for you x

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum I have so many questions! On your meds and bag and seton (I have one too! And don't know anyone else who does), but I don't want to subject these poor girls with talk of my arse problems, haha! So glad to hear life is that much better for you with the bag now though 😊

For those talking about the CB digi, this is the first time I've used it properly and got to my 9th stick (of 10 in the box) on 9th day of testing before static smiley. I have a feeling the dates they tell you to start testing vs. predicted ov day vs. number of sticks in box is often juuust enough to see you through (so long as you don't get tempted to test too often!). Good luck to all using them!

Skip86 · 19/05/2020 09:20

@SmileyT how funny is it that the static smiley brings so much joy?! I did my test this morning at 4am and then couldn't get back to sleep I was so excited. You'd think I'd got a positive preg test!

BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum · 19/05/2020 09:23

@Katao thank you! I’ll stick with the IC for a few months and get the lay of the land. Just downloaded the Femometer app and that’s saying ovulation in 3 days as opposed to ovia saying today so I’ll test all week.

@Skip86 ask away! Is your seton rv too? I only have one right now but had 4 all during my last pregnancy! This one has been in for nearly 2 years, last one was 4 I think. I can’t remember if you have other babies sorry, but how were you during pregnancy? Did you glare massively after it? I tell DD all the time my scars are her fault, she just tells me to shut up 😂

BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum · 19/05/2020 09:23

Flare not glare, stupid iPhone autocorrects

Ltay2 · 19/05/2020 09:32

@KRK05 the only thing I have done differently this cycle is take COQ10 and vitamin d although I've read the COQ10 takes a few months to do anything really! I'm not holding out a lot of hope for this cycle as I am now on CD13 and we can't DTD until tomorrow at the earliest 🙈

Skip86 · 19/05/2020 09:33

@BumDiggy no it's perianal and I've had it about 8 frustrating years now. I'm in and out of hospital all the time with problems to do with it. Such a pain (like, literally). It's the main reason I had to have c-sections (2 kids, 2 and 4.5yo), but both were born very prem due to crohns complications and inflammation etc. Yes I had epic flare literally the day DC2 was born! Very tough when he was in NICU for 10 wks. Anyway though, that's a whole other story for another time and thread topic!

Minster2012 · 19/05/2020 09:37

@Skip86 I think you are right about the number of sticks for most ppl they will def try to get the most out of ppl so makes sense, I’m going to hold off & hope tomorrow brings that smile of joy! Totally understand you feel like you could t sleep, like when I got the flashing smile for the first time I was irrationally excited & wanted to jump on DH!!

Juno231 · 19/05/2020 10:44

@skip86 def ask away as I'm finding it fascinating and am learning lots! I've known two people with Crohn's (that I know of!) and it's always good to know more about it.

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum did you backfill previous period data into femometer? Otherwise I'd ignore their suggested ovulation date as it'll be purely guesswork until it has more data to base it on.

CD4 girls and I was so let down by the scales this morning! I'm somehow back to a weight i was a few weeks back despite still tracking my calories and eating below maintenance. I kept hoping it was AF bloat but AF is over now.... super frustrating/demotivating!

OnNaturesCourse · 19/05/2020 10:58

Morning ladies.

How are we all today.

CD 11 and negative ovulation stick this morning, but ovulation pain is here and so is my usual bloat and gas to boot 😩

@Juno are you on a weight loss journey too? I'm trying to lose a stone that has crept on since lockdown, doing calorie counting as that has worked for me before. Day 1 today!

Minster2012 · 19/05/2020 10:59

@Skip86 & @Juno231 I’m following your chat too with interest! As I had an illeostomy then reversal in 2012 as a side effect of my chemo so I have similar scars & problems, my friend has chrohns too & I can understand the illeostomy saved my life. I saw on a program recently a lady with an illeostomy pregnant & she had to have c section due to all the scar tissue & issues so I assume it may be the case for us?

I was also let down by my weight this morning somehow managing 2kg on since the weekend?? Eh! Keep going though @Juno231 a few days or a week of good eating & a bit more exercising maybe? That’s what I’m telling myself
