Hi ladies 💕

13dpo today and af is imminent as temp dropped to cover line plus a bfn. So who's joining me?
TTC #1
This will be cycle 13 since mmc (Feb 19) but been TTC since June 2018 so a horribly momentous month for me.

Bought some vitamins recommended by it starts with the egg for this month and also male conception tablets for DH. So we shall see 🤞🏼

Lots of luck and baby dust to everyone 🍀🌈💕

@OnNaturesCourse I am TTC DC #2. I already have a 5 year old DS from a previous relationship

lucyrp · 17/05/2020 22:56

@MrsDh2019 fingers crossed for you! You don't sound silly at all it was exactly like me last cycle, I took a CB pregnancy test the day before AF was due because I just felt something inside and I got a faint positive but then I was having negatives after but I had all the symptoms you are describing I was getting such hot flushes like my skin was too hot to touch, lower back pain which was so painful I normally walk 5 miles or more a couple of times a week and I did 7 the one day and after 4 my back was in pieces. My boobs suddenly got huge like when I was breastfeeding DS and I got milk back in them which disappeared about 2 years ago! Everything was heading towards that and then I had a CP. sometimes your heart knows but you always listen to your head no matter how hard you try not to x

MrsDh2019 · 17/05/2020 23:19

@lucyrp thank you for sharing your experience ❤️ I noticed my boobs leak aswell and my DS is 2.5 so milk dried up a long time ago! I did have a funny feeling of it being CP as the cheap strip tests were showing faint positive but FRER was BFN at 11dpo. I’ll just hold out and see what happens thank you 💖

lucyrp · 17/05/2020 23:22

@MrsDh2019 we're all just trying to help each other along🤍 my DS is 5 now but my milk stayed in my boobs to an extent until he was around 3!😂 OH did not enjoy that 😂 I had 3 faint positives in all and about 7 BFN. Fingers crossed for you and baby dust ✨💓

jaxs23 · 18/05/2020 04:11

@Mrsdh2019 crossing everything that AF does not show up.

Skip86 · 18/05/2020 05:08

Another CB flashing face almost looked like it was laughing at me this morning! I do wonder if there's a chance it could've missed my surge? Anyone experienced that before? The packet says 8% of the time people don't get a peak fertility reading 😩
I just feel like I had a decent glob (for want of a better word) of EWCM yesterday morning and all the ov feels, and now back to post-ov feels. Hrmmm. I only have 2 CB sticks left so not going to test again in the day. ICs are showing literally NOTHING, like barely even a shadow!

Skip86 · 18/05/2020 05:23

@33Carr that '3 times in a row' story made me proper LOL into my cup of tea! 😂😂

@OnNaturesCourse I'm not trusting my ICs at the moment! Not sure about your situation with them fading, but yes CD9 does seem super early if you are a regular 28 days 🤔 LH fluctuates a little throughout your cycle so perhaps it was a random minor rise and the main event is still to come in a few days!

Also, I have 2 DCs and was absolutely peaking out before DC2 was born for all the reasons you've mentioned, to the point that I developed severe anti natal anxiety. But now I've been through having newborn and toddler - it was hard but not neaaarly as difficult as I had anticipated. If I could have my time again I would have tried to relax and enjoy the conception/preg process more. You got this!

@MrsDh2019 🤞🏼 for you!

@KRK05 and @lucyrp oooh what did you do for date night?! At home yes? I need ideas 😍

Cocoblue22 · 18/05/2020 06:25

@OnNaturesCourse I worry about this all the time! DS just turned 2 and is a full on mummy’s boy and I love it! He’s so affectionate. I worry how I will manage physically to do things like pick him up, put him in the bath/in his cot etc with a big bump! I was huge from about 20 weeks last time everyone was convince I had dates wrong or was having twins (one lady working in boots was so rude to me I got so fed up of all the you're massive comments she told me ‘well you must be doing something to be that big’ I felt so rubbish like she was implying I was eating too much when I left I cried!!’ People can be so judgey! Turned out I had a large placenta and quite a lot of water!!!)

How do people manage to do daily tasks when pregnant with 2nd 3rd etc when precious DC is still under 3? X

Skip86 · 18/05/2020 06:51

@Cocoblue22 I'm not the best for advice on pregnancy #2 I'm afraid - my DC2 was born 10wks prem so I never got a big belly!

Cocoblue22 · 18/05/2020 06:51

Also for those getting BFN on preg tests which ones are you using? With my DC1 I felt pregnant for about 4 days whilst getting BFN every day I was using boots and clear blue tests. One evening getting ready to go on a night out I thought I’d double check (I just had a feeling) about 7pm not first unine used first response and ....boom BFP so this time I will be using first response as in my experience they were much more accurate and sensitive. I then did a second first response the next day and a clear blue which did then show positive just to check! 🤞🏻For everyone....baby dust to all xx

Cocoblue22 · 18/05/2020 06:56

@Skip86 that must of been stressful delivering early....I hope everything turned out okay?

My friends regularly remind me I was the most pregnant pregnant person they have ever seen! TBF I was big but that’s just how it was for me I’m only 5’2 so I think that made me look bigger too. everyone is different....I loved it though it was the first time in my life I’ve felt comfortable wearing body con dresses haha! Xx

BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum · 18/05/2020 07:19

Hi everyone can I please join you?

This is about my 4th or 5th time jumping on a bus but I keep leaving again 🙃

TTC #2
Cycle 33 😫 will be 3 years in August
CD 15 according to ovia, apparently due to start ov tomorrow so I did an ov test and saying negative for now.

We haven’t been ‘obsessively’ (for want of a better word) trying for 3 years, but that’s when we decided we would like another and stopped using condoms and started using ovia.

DP has worked away from home for the past 1.5 years so that could have something to do with it, he’s not always home when I’m ovulating. But he’s been home now since March so thought this would be the best time to start trying properly!

When DD was 8 weeks old I had 2 lots of major abdo surgery. And I’d had a section with her so my tummy is ruined. I have Crohn’s disease and an ileostomy, recto-vaginal fistulas and rheumatoid arthritis. So it might not happen at all. Fingers crossed 😬

Hope you are all as well as can be

33Carr · 18/05/2020 07:24

Hi @BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum !! Welcome aboard 😂

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Sat in my car outside work cause I just can't quite bring myself to go inside and start the week off yet!!

SmileyT · 18/05/2020 07:37

@Skip86 I've only been using CB for 1 month properly but I did go straight from low to peak and the peak was picked up in the evening as I randomly tested twice that day. Are you just testing with FMU as I've read that it can miss the peak with that.

Welcome @BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum bet it's nice having DP home for a bit at the moment for some extra family time ❤️

@33Carr I feel you... I'm already dreaming of Friday. Hope you have a great day xx

Minster2012 · 18/05/2020 07:43

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum welcome! If DH is around now th perfect time, there’s no medical reason for you not being able to conceive, I’ve had lots of surgery too, illeostomy then reverse illeostomy & lots of other surgeries & my consultants say it’s fine labour would just be managed differently.

@Skip86 5th day of flashing 😀that’s not great, but you’ve basically been DTD throughout though so even if CB hasn’t caught it then you’ve covered yourself. I’m on day 2 of flashing 😀& already I just want it to change 😂

@33Carr hope work is ok, head on in you gotta do it

@Juno231 maybe you can help me with femometer then as it says I was due to ovulate yesterday but flashing smiles on CB so ovulation not happened do you know how I can tell femometer it’s wrong? I have been doing the LH strips & it’s not recognised they have shown no ovulation

@MrsDh2019 fingers crossed it’s not AF day for you, those symptoms sound good so 🤞🏻

BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum · 18/05/2020 07:44

Thanks ladies ❤️

@33Carr I can’t believe this but I’m actually jealous of you going to work 😂 I’ve been at home shielding now since February, I work in an airport so was safer for me to be home right from the start. Now furloughed unfortunately 🙄

@SmileyT you would think, but he is being the biggest pain in the backside! I forget how much room he takes up, how much food he eats and how messy he is. He better get me pregnant soon so it’s worth him being home all this time 😂

lucyrp · 18/05/2020 08:06

@Cocoblue22 yes I'm not the biggest fan of boots either! I've had 3 pregnancies and both times I used boots tests but only tested around the 8 week mark so levels of HCG would have been a lot higher and they were fine then but this time I did I think 4 boots tests and they were all negative I wouldn't suggest them ! I think the pink dye tests are better at picking up earlier and CB X

Ltay2 · 18/05/2020 08:08

Posted this in the May group but I know there's some different people in here so posting here too...

Those of you that use several apps for tracking, do you find any particular one more accurate than others for predicting ovulation day?

I am using:
Flo - predicts Thursday

Fermometer - predicts Thursday
Fertility Friend - predicts Friday
Natural Cycles - predicts Saturday
Fitbit - predicts Saturday

They all have at least a year worth of AF dates, and NC has temps but I am so bad at taking them I don't think they are too reliable, especially not the last few months.

So confused! We can't DTD until Weds due to OH slight injury so hoping it's more Friday/Saturday otherwise we are definitely out this month before we've even began 🙉

lucyrp · 18/05/2020 08:09

@Skip86 we didn't do that much for date night but we both dressed up as if we were going out for a meal and I did my hair and make up, we had steak and Homemade chips and I set the table up nicely with candles etc and then watched a film after! Was really nice actually 🥰

lucyrp · 18/05/2020 08:13

@Ltay2 I'm not the best person to ask about apps, I'm CD8 and Flo is telling me I'm not going to ovulate until the 6th June😂 that is definitely wrong and fermometer hasn't given me my next FW and neither has my health app on my phone so literally no idea, they're just predicting my AF and no ovulating at the moment! I'm kind of just winging it and hoping for the best

user1491899880 · 18/05/2020 08:15

Can I jump in please? :)

We are TTC for baby nr2. Baby nr1 is now a 2.5yo toodler .
I'm supposed to ovulate around the 20th. So fingers crossed...
Good luck everyone;)

J0DI3 · 18/05/2020 08:16

Just marking my place on the June bus 😁

Ltay2 · 18/05/2020 08:17

@lucyrp I think I'm just going to have to carry on with OPK and hope it's more the end of the week to give us a bigger chance 🙈

lucyrp · 18/05/2020 08:20

@Ltay2 I'm doing CB OPKs at the moment so just hoping that will help but i had a peak smiley on CD5 which messed things up so unsure what's happening but carrying on now, I think I should ovulate this week or latest middle of next week but we have DTD since Thursday every day just incase 😂

SmileyT · 18/05/2020 08:22

@BumDiggyDiggyDiggyBumDiggyBum haha, although I whinge about working it is kinda nice that both me and DP are key workers, think I would've gone mad spending 24hrs a day with him for the last 6 weeks. Although I miss him sometimes I do look forward to his night shifts when I get the bed to myself 🤣

@Minster2012 I think my femometer app predicts ovulation and then once you put in your +ve opk it updates it, but doesn't update it based on negatives if that makes sense. X
