I have purposely not bought any tests and I am going to try and wait for AF. I am on cycle 4 TTC no. 2 and have spent so much on tests already lol. Had no trouble conceiving no.1 so getting a bit worried and fed up.

Sorry to hear about your MMC. Fingers crossed we all get our BFPs this month.

I know I am normally ok the first week and then the second week I symptom spot everything. Started to take some vitamins last month so I am hoping they might help. I have a short luteal phase. I ovulated earlier this month so I am hoping this has extended the luteal phase.

Hi all, I'm 3 dpo but started TTC January 2019. DH and I had a big discussion about continuing TTC with everything going on, but after 16 months we decided to just be a bit more relaxed about trying rather than stop.

@planbea that’s totally understandable. But it’s soooo hard to “be relaxed about it” during the TWW, isn’t it? It’s not like DH has random twinges/headaches/stuffy nose causing him to symptom spot! 😂 I’ve got my DH hiding the tests from me and he shares my Clue calendar, so at least he’s in the loop as well.

@caty86 the cost of tests soon adds up, doesn’t it?! I think I spent about £20 last month I tested that frequently, but I’m determined not to buy more this month! I have two FRERs lying around so trying to hold out until day AF is due.

I’m 8dpo, AF is due Sunday 3rd. We’re TTC after losing our girl at 24 weeks at the start of the year - this is officially cycle 2, but it took us 4 cycles to get pregnant the first time - so I’m trying really hard not to get my hopes up... but we all know how that goes! 🙈

Hi emeliet123 lovely to meet you. So sorry for your loss. 😢. I know its very hard not to get your hopes up. Ttc is such a hard time emotionally. I think I am finding it harder in quarantine as I am focusing on it so much.

Hi planbea lovely to meet you. Relaxing about it is the right thing to do but so hard. We only dtd when we felt like it this month but now I'm paranoid it wasn't enough. We dtd all the time the month before and it made no difference 😂

That's a good idea @PlanBea let nature take its course per se. We took the relaxed approach for most of last year and tbh when we first went into lock down I did say to DH that we should stop and then a day or so passed and I thought who am I kidding.

So so sorry for your loss @emiliet123. Fx crossed for you!! Love that your DH is on it I know mine would give the tests up in a second if I said hide them. But everything related to TTC is so expensive!!

I agree @caty86 it's so much harder atm as there's little distraction and the days just tick over.

Currently 4/5 DPO (two different apps 🙄) and AF is due around the 8th May. This is second cycle, but first cycle of actively TTC for baby 1.

Only a few days in and TWW already feels like it's dragging!

Hey ladies, hope you don't mind me joining. I'm 22 and have been with my partner just over 2 years, this will be our first baby if we get the luck!
According to test strips I hit my surge a couple days ago so probably ovulated yesterday. 1dpo for me, not too sure when AF is, due to having a mmc nearly 3 weeks ago (6 weeks preg). Me and OH wasn't sure whether to wait for AF or to just try again, but we both desperately want our own family so once I stopped bleeding we started dtd pretty much every night, we've definitely covered ovulation 🤞🏼 TTC since December, conceived in February. Really hoping this is our month, I had a chemical pregnancy last year so I really don't think I can handle another miscarriage 😩.

Hi everyone!

I’m potentially in a TWW but can’t be sure... I’m still breastfeeding my 24 month old and haven’t actually got my periods back yet! However, definite signs that things could be happening and currently Night weaning so feeling hopeful.

We stopped using protection in Feb, I tested once 4ish weeks ago and now waiting to test this weekend if AF doesn’t appear beforehand. We’re not actively TTC at the moment but I’d be lying if I wasn’t hopeful...

I’ve got a lot of symptoms of AF/pregnancy (they’re all the same so who on earth even knows?!) but I just need to talk to others who are feeling the tension like me as I’m driving myself a bit mad 🤪

@MrsLBear i will test from 3rd onwards I think when 10dpo, I could lie & say I'm waiting till AF due but who am I kidding I just love peeing on sticks 😂 I'm my own worst enemy! Got a line on an fr last cycle 11dpo then all bfns after that! When will you be testing?

@Lily2020 haha I love it. Well I really want to be strong this cycle. And cos I'm due the 5th and if I still feel like maybe shes not coming I will go and get a test on the 4th because I wouldn't go out the 3rd to get one cos it's a Sunday. I just don't want to have any in the house cos otherwise I will poas the minute it arrives. I have no self control. So the 4th I will be 13dpo. I mean last cycle I was poas from 8dpo. I can't be trusted with them. Do you temp?

@MrsLBear that sounds like a very good plan 👍🏽 do you temp? My first month & honestly I'm finding it more stressful than I expected every day I'm googling whether it's normal or not 😕 this is my chart, temp been dropping last few days so I'm feeling a bit shit about it now!

I am 4/5 days post ovulation. My app says that I ovulate the day after my static smiley but I’m not so sure. I only have a LP of 10/11 days which I hope isn’t going to cause a problem.

I read a helpful article of Ava yesterday which said that most implantation happens on day 9 so there really is no point in me testing before AF is due on! Maybe this information will stop me testing early.........

@MrsLBear, I have a few but they come and go so not particularly reassuring! I’ve had nausea, backache, increased cm, cramps and feeding my DS is really painful as my breasts are really sore. These are all AF symptoms though so I’m not holding out too much hope. I also had a streak of blood yesterday but that was literally it, just the streak once when wiping. Very bizarre!

@Lily2020 I’m sorry I haven’t temped before so I can’t offer any advice on the chart. I’m sure it’s all normal!

Cloudmtb, I hope you manage to hold off testing until AF! It’s so so hard.

@Lily2020 yeah I temp too. Don't worry too much about your temp most ovulation. I think even a "good" chart doesn't indicate pregnancy. I try not to read into mine but do it more to confirm ovulation. The only thing I do get is a temp drop the day af comes. And looks like you've got a clear shift for ovulation so that's good!! I find ff app helpful for noting how I'm feeling etc too and can see a pattern now with pains etc throughout my cycle.

Oh I hate that @emvy why are pre af symptoms the same as early pg. So annoying isn't it. I had a lot of creamy cm yday (tmi sorry) but I am telling myself to get a grip and it probably means nothing.

@caty86 quarantine is making EEEEVERYTHING so much more difficult! I start back at work on Friday, AF is due Sunday so hopefully I’ll have enough going on work-wise that I’m feeling a little more distracted.

@MrsLBear my DH is ridiculously stubborn, there’s not a chance he’s gonna let me test before Sunday - even ON Sunday he’ll probably insist I wait an extra day! 😂 it’s definitely for my own good though as I’m obsessed with testing.

@emvy hello there! Symptom spotting is so frustrating, especially as for me I don’t get sore boobs EVERY month, and with my first pregnancy I didn’t have sore boobs until week 7, and then they were insaaanely painful! But by that point I was already well aware 😂

@Lily2020 I’ve never temped before either, although if things take a little longer, it’s something I’ll be looking into. Is it supposed to tail off a little and then stay elevated above that middle line? I’m not sure 🤷🏼‍♀️ So sorry I can’t help!

@Lily2020 I’m going to test Friday if no sign of af by then. DH is the impatient one this time though and wants me to test now! I’ve given myself Friday though and I’m just a bit stubborn so won’t give in until then 😂

@MrsLBear it’s so annoying isn’t it?! Just no way of knowing. All I can remember is feeling horrendously nauseous, sensitive to smells and off hot drinks which is totally unlike me, with my DS. I’m not having any of those but I don’t know if they were just the later symptoms at like 8+ weeks! Creamy cm sounds positive though, that’s the only non af symptom I’m having as well!

emiliet123, good luck for Sunday! I hope it’s not too much of a slog waiting for then. Lots of distractions and I hope you get a nice strong bfp then! I really hate symptom spotting but it’s just too hard not to, especially in lockdown!

We had to have IVF to have our child who's now 4 - problems with me and DH - we got told even with ICSI we had 5-20% chance so he's an absolute miracle.
We started IVF proceedings again before Xmas and three cycles got cancelled due to my lining not being right then the 4th one cancelled because of covid
We have been trying naturally anyway - even though we have like 0.1% chance of getting caught
I've no idea when I ovulated or even if I did but app says due on tomorrow

I only had tiredness as a symptom first time then very slight nausea kicked in later on
I've felt really tired and had maybe three separate days where I've felt sicky.
I did a FRER yesterday morning. It was my second wee of the morning cause I chickened out first time but I'm sure there a faint line. This appeared within the five minutes - can I upload a pic to get your opinions? Not sure if it's an evap line
