@ArjaD yeah we found out at the 20 weeks scan that we are having a boy!

@Nmew awwwww so happy for you ❤️❤️❤️ boys are great, if slightly harder to keep Alive once they start climbing everything 🤣🤣

Hi Ladies, sorry I e been a bit quiet.

Nothing here for me so far, think we had a chemical the month before last and last cycle was a no go despite being a few days late, on to the next cycle for us, think this is number 6 or 7 ? I've lost count to be honest.

I actually feel a bit blah about the whole thing right now, I'm not in the mood for anything, although think that's because I'm working tonight and tomorrow night.
Got a flashing smiley on the OPK this morning so should ovulate in a couple of days unless it's like last month where I got 4 days worth of smiley before the static one finally appeared !

Other than that nowt much happening !

@NicoleR14 nothing more stressful than trying for a baby, especially if it takes ages. A friend of mine has been trying for nearly two years, I feel so bad for her xx 😔

Hi ladies, just a quick update, got a very worrying letter today from the hospital to come back in next week as the baby has a 1 in 10 chance of having down syndrome. I'm absolutely petrified and waiting on husband to come home next week too. Scared out of my wits as they will offer more tests which include inserting a needle into the uterus to extract amniotic fluid.

@ArjaD try hard not to worry ok this has happened to two of my friends and both babies were FINE !! So worrying I know but keep positive xxxx

@ArjaD pleaseupdate thinking of you :( - I'm good I have my first scan on Saturday ahh finally ! Exhausted still, thought it would've died off a bit by now but if anything I'm more shattered !! Feel huge with this baby too, been bloated for weeks but now the bloat doesn't go away haha xx

@shelly10111 yeah same, only in the last two days have I regained some of energy and it's still up and down. Had to start taking those Fybogel fibre sachets as I'm just super bloated too.

@ArjaD oh can you buy them over the counter? Like this bloat is not normal I'm huge! Never had it before

@shelly10111 yes I just ordered them on amazon. Safe during pregnancy too.. Makes me feel a lot less huge!

@ArjaD just had weetabix going to try and cut down carbs, I'm obsessed with making leek and potato soup atm, I'm going quite regular but can tell my digestive system is slow as I get gut ache 🤭😂

@shelly10111 I meant to ask, do you know if your friends had the sample of amniotic fluid taken to get a conclusive answer on the down syndrome thing, or did they wait?

@ArjaD pretty sure they did as got the results before baby arrived, one of them was my partners cousin and they basically told her she WAS going to have it etc and she was horn perfectly FINE, so it's important not to threat as they can get it wrong so many times and don't forget right now you have just fallen into a percent because of a measurement, that could be the sonogram error etc xx

@shelly10111 that's good, I'm going for a consultation on Monday and I'll day yes to The test. Will need to wait a few more weeks for it as they can't do it till you're over 15 weeks. It's the horrible waiting game, I'm all over the place.

@ArjaD I can't imagine how you feel I mean the 12 week scan wait is bad enough and you just want everything to be going smoothly ! :( I had it constantly with first daughter and again she was born perfect, I have my scan tomorrow and I know baby is there as heard heartbeat a few days ago but still so nervous for all the same reason as we are older now so all the risks increase xx

@shelly10111 same here, I'll be 37 when this one is due. Totally bricking it. Need to have a chat with hubby about what if it is positive, not a conversation you ever want to have 😔 steeling myself up for a horrible few weeks of what ifs.

@ArjaD oh hun :( it's awful but just remember your decision you make has to be yours and hubby's and it will always be right for you, I know personally with having two already young children I would have to think through everything so don't be hard on yourself having to have those deep conversations as it's just important for all of you! Will keep my fingers crossed that all is absolutely perfect for you xx

Hey ladies, so sorry I've been missing, I just had to take myself away from everything I got really stressed with it all in the end. How is everyone? Has there been any bfps I've missed? I'll have to have a good read through it all to catch up but I've just read a couple of msgs and seen @ArjaD what you're having to deal with, that sounds so hard I hope your ok and I hope that everything will be fine🤞🏻xxx

As for me, well I think I may actually be pregnant again! I've been feeling really rough this week and even had to call an ambulance I was that bad, turned out I was fine but I just felt so weird so I did a test yesterday and today and got very faint lines! It was a complete shock really coz we decided to stop trying again and have been doing the pull out method so I'm guessing the blob on the knob happened! I'm terrified coz of the last one but I'm hoping that the lines get darker. My af isn't due till 4/5 days so I guess we will see!

Me again lol, well it looks like I might have been abit eager in sending that message, just did another test and don't think I can see anything so I've either picked up on something early that's gone or faulty tests god knows. Bloody frustrating to say the least! I'll check again tomorrow but I'm now not hopeful again. Xxx

@dizzy85 never loose hope! Do you have any info about getting tested after the MC?
@ArjaD aw no, i can't imagine how you are feeling!! I would be terrified... it's a very difficult decision if it is but it's personal and what ever you decide will be correct. I just pray it's just a false alarm and your baby is perfectly well ♥️

We got some results yest... i am ok but hubby's sperm is not. So we have a very tiny chance of having a baby naturally, we have been recommended to do AI but i still need to do some more tests to make sure. Histerosalpingography is the next one. To make sure my fallopian tubes are not obstructed.
Very disappointing news and all this time a total waste... anyway! It is what it is so we have to stay strong!

@Sungirl11 Thankyou, no I'm still waiting for an appointment to even speak to someone taking ages. It's such a headache all this isn't it. I'm sorry to hear about your hubby, but it's good that at least you know now so you can work with that and it sounds like the drs are being helpful too so that's good xxx

@dizzy85 are the tests playing up again? Aw that sucks, and I can't believe you still haven't been seen by the doctors!! I hope they get on with it and you have some positive news soon xxx
@Sungirl11 difficult situation for you too 😔 why is nothing ever straightforward huh. You never know though, that tiny chance may happen!
I've got my consultation about further testing for birth defects etc on Monday. I keep bursting into tears it's ridiculous. The stress can't be good.
