Bbutterfly · 21/04/2020 13:42

Carol1980 · 21/04/2020 13:49

I'm just outside Glasgow, but I spend a lot of time in Falkirk as that's where my hubby is from x

@Bbutterfly are you a navy wife ?
My hubby works for the admiralty Pilots down at the naval base x

@NicoleR14 that is beyond frustrating !!!!

Donnat89 · 21/04/2020 13:54

Not from up north either I'm in sunny Berkshire ! X

Yes I'm hoping it is my month just got to wait and see feel like ttoday will be the longest day ever ! X

Bbutterfly · 21/04/2020 14:01

Sorry @Carol1980 I obviously wasn't clear In my message and typed excited for you and @ArjaD as I knew she was a navy wife. Not me 😂. My hubby does property/assets and I'm a secretary for a family office/private bank. Both of which aren't doing too well right now! I don't know if I'm nosey but I love hearing all this from you girls ♥️ it's like we're all friends/but strangers lol x

GemmaMay3291 · 21/04/2020 14:07

I’m also from up north, I’m in Manchester.

I agree @Bbutterfly it’s lovely to hear from people who are going the through the exact same. It makes me feel a little more sane haha. Xx

Bbutterfly · 21/04/2020 14:10

@GemmaMay3291 I've just read your message on the other thread. Sorry you've had some dramas, I was the same came off the pill last year after 15 years thinking it would work for me straight away. It's really awful when that happens with friends who don't even try, then you feel guilty for feeling half jealous but we've all been there. It will happen for you. I hope af passes soon and you can get back to tracking! X

ArjaD · 21/04/2020 14:10

@Carol1980 we used to stay IN Blantyre for a few years before moving to Stirling where hubby is from originally. @Bbutterfly being a navy wife is defo stressful, we must be insane! It's great to read we're from all over though, maybe we could meet up sometime when all of this is over. For now it's the waiting game!

GemmaMay3291 · 21/04/2020 14:16

@Bbutterfly thank you! it’s been an awful few months, it just seemed to be one thing after another and then I don’t know why but I just felt like this month was the month Sad oh well fingers crossed for May!!

I’m the last one now out of my friendship group that isn’t pregnant or has children so it kinda hit me hard. I am happy for her in a very jealous kind of way haha.

If you don’t mind me asking how long has it taken for your cycle to get back to normal after stopping the pill? Xx

shelly10111 · 21/04/2020 14:21

Am I the only one from england 😂😭😭

Bbutterfly · 21/04/2020 14:36

@GemmaMay3291 I was quite lucky to be honest, it all seemed to start getting regular and cycle was 33 days like clockwork after 2 months. Always ovulating on cd19. But then this month It's changed and I didn't get my positive opk on the day expected which threw me abit as I was so convinced on timings it's messed me up. From what you said in that other post it seems you are becoming more regular, and all your tests are fine so I wouldn't cause yourself additional stress. I'm the same though every month I get positive opk and always do everything correct on the days I'm supposed to. it's an obsession so I know I've done everything I possibly could, which makes me think every month is my month! 🙄. Then every time I get a bfn lol. Maybe this month where I messed up dates and didnt do everything perfect it will be my luck it's my month 😂 hopefully anyway! Xxx

Donnat89 · 21/04/2020 14:36

I will catch up on the thread in abit. Oh I'm from Portsmouth in England so complete opposite part of the uk to most by the sounds of it! How nice some of you are neighbours! Xx

dizzy85 · 21/04/2020 15:17

Third thread for ttc!
Donnat89 · 21/04/2020 15:21

@dizzy85 so nice to hear from you I have been wondering how you are , I am not the best with lines as I always question them but they look fine to me . I've got everything crossed for you ! Xxxx

Carol1980 · 21/04/2020 15:25

@ArjaD I grew up in Blantyre 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I'm now in East Kilbride but most of my family are still in Blantyre 🤣 small world !!

Carol1980 · 21/04/2020 15:31

@dizzy85
Try not to stress yourself out x the fact that your actually getting quite dark lines is a fab sign, remember HCG only doubles every 48 hours x if I was you I would wait until Thursday morning to test x
Clear blue can take a while to properly show up but might be worth getting one of them ? It will give you the weeks thing.
When I got pregnant after my miscarriage we did a clear blue and about a week or 2 later we did another one and it went for 1-2 weeks the first time round and two weeks later it had 2-3 weeks show up so gave me the piece of mind that my hcg was still rising x

As much as it is heartbreaking, try to keep this in the forefront of your mind, it's nothing that you have done, there's nothing that you can't actually do if it is unfortunately a MC, so try not to stress out as it won't help x if you try not to stress out or get worked up then if it isn't a MC then your keeping calm and this will help, if you continue to stress yourself out it won't help at all xxx 😘 sending lots of love though x

NicoleR14 · 21/04/2020 15:47

@carol1980 my mammy was born in bellshill she grew up around that areas Cambuslang bellshill eastkilbride castlemilk Rutherglen even when she married my daddy they lived there my second oldest sister was born in the old Rutherglen maternity hospital my grandmother still lives in eastkilbride we've been around there our whole lives but we lived in Aberdeen but I've left home and adventured out as far as denny 😂! @dizzy85 those look healthy thick lines I wouldn't get too stressed out over those! Did you give your gp a call I think you might spot through your first few months but be fine afterwards especially if you spot before af as well you may just have a weaker cervix if that's a thing lol I'd give your gp a call and make sure things is fine just to be on the safe side it's so good to hear from you!

ArjaD · 21/04/2020 16:09

@NicoleR14 omg I still own a house in Bellshill, I lived there before Blantyre 😂. My hubby was actually born in the Rutherglen maternity unit too but moved to Stirling at a young age. What a small world! @Carol1980 my husband still has a lot of family in Westwood, East Kilbride. 😂😂😂
