Hi,

I’m 29 and on cycle 2 of TTC. I’m 3dpo and now in my two week wait. I have no friends with children or anyone who is TTC so looking for online buddies to ride this out with!

Anybody in the same boat as me who wants to chat and be a little neurotic together?

Xx

@naera95 do you mean first cycle? How long is your cycle normally? I’m normally 32-35days. Do you have any symptoms at the moment?

Naera95 · 18/04/2020 10:46

My cycle usually 28-30 days. Trying for your first child? It’s my first and not cycle 10 now. What about you? No not really any symptoms trying not to think of it to much as I always get my hopes up for it to be let down. How are you symptoms going?

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 10:54

@naera95 yeah first child. I’ve been off the pill for 2yrs but only really been trying this year. We were very much before if it happens it happens but it took a long time for my periods to return. Yes it’s very disheartening when it doesn’t happen. I had a little cramping earlier in the week and my temp dropped but other than that nothing. Although I still have watery CM (sorry too much info) which is very unusual for me at this stage. So confused this month. I decided not to test unless my period is late this time.

Naera95 · 18/04/2020 11:14

@suki2020 yes I was on the pill for 10 years and it really screwed my system up. Oh yay well that sounds very positive my fingers are crossed for you!!

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 12:52

@Naera95 how long did it take for your periods to return to normal?

Naera95 · 18/04/2020 13:33

@suki2020 it took about 6 months for my cycles to go back to normal

Happy Saturday ladies! I'm 8DPO today. When I was pregnant with DS my eczema flared up for the first time since I was a teen. Today, out of nowhere my eczema is awful. This is the first day its ever come back since I was pregnant. Just took an internet cheapie though and BFN so think it's just coincidence 😞

How are you all getting on? X

serialplanner · 18/04/2020 15:36

@mrsmummy111 I googled this morning pregnancy test dpos and was fascinated how you can get a negative that is actually a positive the right amount of days later. I'm new to this, but 8dpo sounds early so hand in thereDaffodil

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 19:59

Do you think I have ovulated and then has a possible implantation dip or an anovulation? I’m so confused and it’s starting to mess with my head now.

No problem @naera95. We are all in this together! Tbh the long time ttc made all the long night hours of colic and reflux with my dd more bearable as I just reminded myself of what the alternative could be.

How do you take your bbt @suki2020? Had you any alcohol the night before or disturbed sleep? So much can affect readings. I don't know which day I ovulated this month as my neighbour rang for advice early doors (her husband is under my dept at work and is pretty ill) and it affected my reading even just a couple of mins on the phone.

Suki2020 · 18/04/2020 21:27

@sammyclaire22 i take my bbt every morning between about 7:15 it’s always around the same time give or take 15mins. I do it as soon as I wake up. I haven’t been sleep that great, been waking up a few times in the night but I don’t get up I just lay there and I do end up going back to sleep. I’m dreaming a lot lately too.

Lolliloo1234 · 18/04/2020 21:54

Happy Saturday! AF due Monday and PMS in full swing - boobs are like painful watermelons, I want to kill my DP and afternoon napping is becoming a must.

Only thing that’s REALLY been odd this month is that TMI (soz) but I’ve had really really wet knickers. I’m kinda worried I’ve got some kind of infection, no other symptoms mind you of one. What do you even do about one if the doctors are off limits? I’m hoping AF will sort it out.

Sammyclaire22 · 19/04/2020 11:02

Might be that then @suki2020 esp if you take your temp orally?

@Lolliloo1234 I was the same last month and got my hopes up after a stupid Google but AF arrived bang on time. Think maybe it's the body having a clear out or something!

Lolliloo1234 · 19/04/2020 11:16

@Sammyclaire22 I’m almost 100% sure AF is coming - due on tomorrow or Tuesday so no hopes up over here!!

Hi ladies, anyone tested yet? Keeping everything crossed for some BFPs for you this month!

No AF arrival for me yet but I had some spotting so I know it’s coming. Actually very glad it’s not arrived yet today - I have a short luteal phase so relieved to see it’s getting longer and longer each cycle with the vitamins I’m taking!!!

Nat4392 · 20/04/2020 16:48

AF arrived for me this morning. LP of 11 days which isn’t terrible but not ideal. Absolutely gutted this month.
What vitamins are you taking? I’ve just ordered some Agnus Castus hoping it may help x

Lovebug06 · 20/04/2020 16:54

My AF arrived this morning. Trying not to feel too gutted. Good luck ladies

Lolliloo1234 · 20/04/2020 16:56

@Nat4392 so...I used to have a luteal phase of 10 days, im not looking at 13 days because I take high dose vitamin c, vitamin d, vitamin b6, vitamin b12 and folic acid every day and have been for 3 months. That paired with acupuncture (but I have t had that for at least 4 weeks now with CV) has lengthened it. Checked with the doctor that it was the right thing and they said that this combination is the best. Also drink raspberry leaf tea but I dunno if that’s helped at all, it just tastes nice!

@Lovebug06 I’m so sorry - let’s keep everything crossed that next month is the month. Baby dust to you x

mrsmummy111 · 20/04/2020 18:02

Hi girls,
@Nat4392 I take CoQ10 (high absorption) once a day, and Vital DHA twice a day. Along with folic acid. I took them with my first and it can't have hurt so thought I'd continue again this time.
I'm 10 DPO but absolutely zero symptoms so I know I'm out. AF due on Friday (I have a pretty regular 14 day luteal phase)
Good luck to all you girls and remember, there's always next month! Xx

Nat4392 · 20/04/2020 18:34

Thanks @mrsmummy111 @lolliloo1234 I’ll give some of them a go x

Lolliloo1234 · 20/04/2020 19:50

Random question - has anyone got a positive on an ovulation test when your period is due? Mines due today, had some spotting but not loads and took an OPK (don’t have any pregnancy tests and I was just curious) and it’s positive? I’m not ovulating obviously, has anyone else had this?

OP posts:
SmileyT · 20/04/2020 20:45

@Lolliloo1234 strangely I'm CD2 and took an LH test on the last day of last cycle and it was positive and AF started like 12hours later (for a few hours I thought it had picked up the hcg but unfortunately not for me)

Lolliloo1234 · 20/04/2020 20:48

@SmileyT that must be what it is then as AF will probs turn up tomorrow!! Thank you!
