Anyone testing around 20th April?

Hi all!

I am 26, married for nearly 2 years and It’s my second month TTC. Had the implant out in Feb and had a withdrawal bleed almost straight away. Started tracking last month with OPKs (ova view) but got to CD 17 and never had a positive. Still DTD throughout the month but AF got me (after I went through demented first cycle POAS HPT madness!!).

Decided to buy a different brand OPK this cycle and purchased Wondfo which showed a clear peak surprisingly early on CD 10 and 11 (Sunday 5th and Monday 6th). Had luckily managed to DTD a few times before and just after pos OPK, and feeling more positive this month! Have ordered some ic HPTs and FRER which thankfully haven’t arrived yet! Feel like I need some friends on here to keep me from POAS too early...

On a side note, when I got a positive Wondfo OPK this month I tested same urine with an ovaview... which came out darker than normal but nowhere near positive! Maybe I had a bad batch? Think I will steer clear of them in future though!

Hey @hopewish my app says to test on April 22nd, so I think I'll try my best to hold out till then. I'm in and out of positive and negative mindsets, I have a feeling already I May have missed my time this month. But we shall see. Best of luck to you! Xxx

I am testing earliest on 20th too! Will be 11dpo :) but ideally i will wait for AF to be overdue so 25th 👋🌞

Hi! AF is due on 20th, won’t be testing before that as I’ve learnt that a BFN is much more disappointing than AF appearance! Here’s hoping this is the month for us all and our potential Christmas babies!

I am feeling much calmer in the TWW this month but I'm not sure if I just feel less stressed about trying to urgently get pregnant.

Last month my family was going through a really difficult time with my grandmother very suddenly deteriorating and passing away from an aggressive cancer within 2 weeks. I was desperate to get pregnant because I thought I needed the good news to keep myself and my family sane.

This month I don't feel that pressure any more, I think I'm over the initial grief. ...But I still don't trust myself not to POAS too early!

@HopeWish sorry to hear about your family troubles...
It does feel much calmer when you are not constantly waiting for that good news.
I hope it stays that way 😄

Hello I'll join you girls! AF is due on the 19th so will be testing around that time. TTC cycle 3 for #1. Ovulated on Apr 5th and confirmed with OPKs :)

@Megan1591 I've been using ICs and getting BFNs so am probably out! 11DPO today.

Hey can I join? AF due on 20th, I wasn't going to "try" this cycle because of the current situation but then got some extreme EWCM and now have been symptom spotting like crazy so I guess here I am 😂

Your right it is early days, but I've been trying for so long... You start to lose all hope. Fingers crossed I'll start IVF at some point this year. 🤞

We’ve been trying for 2 years and say miscarried in September last year.

We have been at it like rabbits and my symptoms this month feel different to other months. My nipples are on fire!!

Any month before AF, I get sore boobs, sickness, spots etc so sadly I don’t get my hopes up every month. AF is due to show her ugly face over the weekend and I’m waiting for boots to deliver my tests.

@Juno231 we've been trying for a little over 4 years. We were supposed to start IVF next month, but has been postponed due to covid. We thought it was worth another try this month due to us being off work. How long has it been for you?

@Megan1591 oof that sounds long and draining, you're strong for still having such a positive attitude! I'm only three cycles in but am sort of expecting it to take a while. Sucks though as all my friends seem to get pregnant within the first two cycles!

I’m sitting here, thinking about when I’ll take my test and it’s making me so anxious. Anyone else feel like this?

Yeah I always feel the same, you want to know but it's so upsetting seeing a negative result. When are you thinking of testing?

I don’t think I’ll be early testing this cycle. I’m getting all the aches and pains in my tummy, I think I’m out for a 2020 baby

I almost caved and tested today, but I think my spotting is getting stronger so think it's more likely to be af. Holding off a couple more days in case she shows
