Yes i feel like we are doing something at least so it's good...

@Ljm0101 @Fizzl weird that you are both having spotting nid cycle. Hope you both get back to normal soon.
Are the opks still negative @fizzl ?
.

@Annny27 @Leok83 when do you plan on testing?

SunnySideUp2020 · 15/05/2020 07:58

@scrumdiddly123
Have you ovulated yet?

Fizzl · 15/05/2020 08:28

@Leok83 yes the spotting seems to have stopped. Didn't notice any yesterday. CD7 is getting close to being able to test tho!

@SunnySideUp2020 yep opk's yesterday were all very negative. Not done one yet today.

Ljm0101 · 15/05/2020 08:28

Hey @Fizzl that is weird that you're having it as well, I'd started taking pregnecare the conception one and I've read some threads where people think that has caused mid cycle bleeding so I've stopped them and just taking folic 🤷🏼‍♀️ but who knows.

@Leok83 don't temp, I've just been doing the Premom OPK's my LH surge didn't go as high as it normally does it was 1.01 where are usually at peak it goes up to 1.9/2 so I'm not sure can it go high without actually ovulating?

@SunnySideUp2020 at least it might put your mind at ease a little 😊.

Xx

Morning! No sign of ovulation here yet @SunnySideUp2020 😭 CD20 now! I’m still getting plenty of EWCM so hoping it’s just a little delayed this cycle with the hcg still being in my system at the start. I’ve taken so many opks feel like a crazy lady 😂 I ran out of my one step so had to amazon prime some femometer ones which came yesterday!
Sorry they wouldn’t let you in to your OHs appt but sounds like it was positive! Hopefully the issue is easily fixed 🤞🏻
How are the 2WW’ers? Any symptoms yet?
@Fizzl sorry you still haven’t ov’d. I was looking back at my past cycles on FF and had one last August where I ovulated a week later then normal. Had a 37 day cycle rather then 30 which was weird. So I guess it does happen sometimes randomly!

MilsCookie · 15/05/2020 10:29

@SunnySideUp2020 I'm so pleased that you've had a bit of good news and the doctors seemed confident that the infection can be easily cleared up! I have also heard that about the amount of sex but I think it depends on the sperm quality. How many dpo are you now? Fingers crossed it's happened this cycle anyway!

@Fizzl the first time I got pregnant we weren't actively trying... I just used the app to know my fertile window to try to avoid getting pregnant and then still added a few days either side before we had unprotected sex. I had always assumed I ovulated around CD16/17 and using this method of contraception had worked for over a year. The cycle I conceived we had unprotected sex (after using condoms throughout my fertile week) on CD21 and I got pregnant... so I must have had a random late ovulation that month! Obviously we were over the moon...and then had the mmc Sad. But I just wanted to let you know I've had late ovulation before and still conceived so fingers crossed that you will still ovulate this cycle!!!

I've got everything crossed for you @Annny27 and @Leok83!! Try not to be disheartened by lack of symptoms - I didn't have ANY and was convinced AF was on her way!! Star xxx

Fizzl · 15/05/2020 12:34

@Ljm0101 I've been taking pregnacare for a long time now so I don't think it was that for me but I did add in a b-complex vitamin this month and think that might be the culprit! Or I've just had a cycle where I don't ovulate. My LH surge hasn't gone past 0.21 so nowhere near even reaching high let alone peak! I think you can get a peak reading and not always ovulate so it can definitely go high. The surge is the body's way of gearing up to ovulate, doesn't always happen is my understanding.

Thanks @MilsCookie and @scrumdiddly123 I'm hoping all is not lost yet. I only have a 9-10 day lp it seems so there's probably still a couple more days I could go before ovulating. I'll keep my fingers crossed!

Ejb86 · 15/05/2020 12:44

@fizzl I conceived the girls only dtd once...on cd18. Late ovulaters are not out of the running!

MilsCookie · 15/05/2020 13:01

Girls I've just had some pink spotting and I am really freaking out. Supposed to be 6+2 today. I didn't have this with my mmc this early but I started pink spotting a week before my 12 week scan where I was told there was no heartbeat. Last time I saw this it meant bad news. Also had some cramps last night and this morning. Absolutely terrified.

Annny27 · 15/05/2020 13:54

Stay calm lovely @milscookie it must be really stressful but hopefully it is just baby burrowing in further! Will you call the epu?

Both @ChampooPapi and @stephyrose all had some spotting and their babies are absolutely fine.

OP posts:
Ljm0101 · 15/05/2020 14:05

Oh @MilsCookie it must be absolutely terrifying, I know how you feel. Try to keep positive just because it was bad news last time it doesn't mean the same this time, just keep an eye on it. Sending you lots of positivity. Xxxx

Fizzl · 15/05/2020 14:20

@MilsCookie just wanted to reiterate what @Annny27 and @Ljm0101 it will be terrifying but it doesn't mean the worst 💛 I recall reading something by a gynaecologist once that said the vast majority of ladies they see with bleeding have successful healthy pregnancies and it is totally normal to have some bleeding in early pregnancy. It is much more rare for bleeding to indicate anything has happened. I know it's going to be hard but try and stay positive and like anny has said, we've had a few ladies on here already with bleeding and their babies have been fine.

Ljm0101 · 15/05/2020 15:16

@Fizzl it may not be the vitamins but I guess I am just trying to pin it on something, it just gets harder with each cycle coming and going and it not happening. It's so good that we have this forum to vent to each other as sometimes it just feels like you're the only one going through a struggle and bloody social media at the moment is driving me insane pregnancy announcements galore!!! Sorry I'm ranting 🙈🙈!!

Fizzl · 15/05/2020 15:51

@Ljm0101 don't get me started on social media. The 10 day 'being a mum' challenge is really starting to grate on me! I don't begrudge anyone being happy but seeing post after post of people's babies and children everyday is like salt in the wound right now. I feel like making my own post about how insensitive it is but I generally don't post on social media and realise that it's unreasonable and I shouldn't expect everyone else to wallow in my self pity. I just don't think people think about what it might feel like for others in a very different situation. I realise I shouldn't expect them to either if they've never been in this situation but my god it's annoying and it brings out an irrational rage in me.

And I totally get looking to blame it on something. I'm convinced it's t he b-complex vitamins for me so I think there is definitely something linked to vitamins and cycles going a bit off.

MilsCookie · 15/05/2020 16:16

Thanks girls. I also have some lower back pain and just feel completely freaked out. I called my EPAU and the doctor was really understanding and asked about my history etc and luckily they had a cancellation so they can scan me tomorrow at 10am. I can't help but think the worst is happening. Will keep you posted xxx

Ljm0101 · 15/05/2020 16:17

Thank you for understanding me @Fizzl I also I know I'm being irrational but I can't help it 😬😬!! Also do you know what it means if you just Constantly have a high OPK? It dipped day before yesterday but gone back up again today to 0.6 it's been like this for the last few days? Along with the spotting I'm going crazy 🤦🏼‍♀️ xx

Ljm0101 · 15/05/2020 16:18

@MilsCookie that is so good that you can get in nice a quickly to put your mind at ease, I'm keeping everything crossed for you and I'm sure it will all be ok. 😘😘 xx

Dipsy77 · 15/05/2020 18:57

@MilsCookie hope everything goes ok. I was in the EPU about 4 times for bleeding with my now 8 month old. First time I was 5 week so had to go back at 7 then again at 9 week and then at 11 week. They couldn't find a reason for it it was pinky red everytime, it happens to a lot of people and can be perfectly normal but that doesn't stop you from panicking xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 15/05/2020 19:10

@milscookie i hope it will be only good news tomorrow and it's just a minor bleed 🤗
But really understand your fears. Just prepare for every possibility but try to keep positive. Sending hugs x

scrumdiddly123 · 15/05/2020 20:06

Thinking of you @MilsCookie and really hope the spotting is nothing! I know how scary it is. I’ve bled with all 3 of my babies as well as my miscarriages so it doesn’t always mean bad news. Really pleased they can see you quickly x

MilsCookie · 15/05/2020 21:12

Thanks everyone. Your reassuring and supportive comments really mean a lot. It hasn't been a lot and I haven't wiped any more now for a few hours. Gonna be a sleepless night I think but will let you know how the scan goes 🙏🤞🏻 xxx

Leok83 · 15/05/2020 21:28

@MilsCookie you poor thing you must be so stressed but it does seem to be so common to bleed with healthy pregnancies so I’ve everything crossed for you that your scan shows your bean is doing well.xx

Leok83 · 15/05/2020 21:38

@SunnySideUp2020 plan on testing on Sunday, I’ll be 10 DPO then so still early but want to do it a day I don’t have to go to work!

@Ljm0101 ya unfortunately LH can fluctuate through the cycle and even if it peaks sometimes ovulation doesn’t happen. Not exactly sure why but the only surfire way of knowing if you’ve ovulated after the OPK is to temp aswell. Hopefully you’ll release that egg soon!

@Fizzl that’s good the spotting has settled down. I so feel you on the social media mums too! Last year 7 of my close friends had babies too and now what’s app threads are just all baby talk. I really want to be happy for them and talk get involved in the chat but just can’t bring myself to comment more than the odd ‘how cute’. Feel so left behind by it all. They don’t know about the MC so don’t hold it against them but theres only 3 of us left in group without babies so sometimes I think they should rein it in a bit and think maybe there’s a reason for that.

Ejb86 · 16/05/2020 07:07

Cd20 and still no positive OPK. I have switched brands. Thought I'd try the one step...bought 75 of them and now questioning how reliable they are. Previously I've used the easy@home ones and not had any issues. I've currently got ewcm a plenty but the one steps are barely there.

Annny27 · 16/05/2020 08:16

Morning everyone - 7dpo here, no symptoms just usual luteul phase boob pain and sluggishness haha

@MilsCookie best of luck today lovely! Praying that its good news. Please let us know, and if they give you a picture please show us:D

@Ejb86 I use one step and rhey work pretty well for me, I read them after 10 minutes and they have always been accurate. Perhaps your other ones were a different sensitivity

@Leok83 only one more day until you are testing then!!!! :D

@Fizzl yep I feel bad but I don't want to see how amazing babies are right now....I know, that's why I have been trying for one since last June haha!

@SunnySideUp2020 how are you feeling in the tww?
