Oh wow @TerribleImagination huge congratulations!!! I came back on to check for your news and so so happy to see this! You must be delighted!
I know what you mean about the danger zone, fingers crossed for you until Monday and for the next nine months!

SunnySideUp2020 · 02/05/2020 09:06

Congraaaaats @TerribleImagination
🌈💓
You are early but it is not a faint line at all- very positive 😃

Fizzl · 02/05/2020 09:09

Congratulations @TerribleImagination! I can't believe how many positives we've had on here recently it's really lovely and exciting! Wishing you all the luck for a healthy and successful pregnancy 🥰

Whiffle77 · 02/05/2020 09:11

Oh my goodness @TerribleImagination what a great few days for this thread!!! Congratulations!! So pleased for you, how exciting! Sending you lots of positive thoughts for the next few days and beyond!!
Hi @Moominmiss sorry you are having such a rubbish time at the minute, good luck this cycle xx

Dipsy77 · 02/05/2020 09:14

Congratulations @terribleimagination brilliant news Smile

MilsCookie · 02/05/2020 09:46

@terribleimagination Eeeeeek that's the same date as mine (well the one from the NHS website!) I know what you mean - don't want to get ahead of ourselves. I've still POAS every day since I found out. Which feels like a lifetime ago but it's only been 2 days!! 🙈 I think I will try and get an early scan yes but the thought of going to one gives me mega anxiety as the last time I just recieved horrific news. Not going to book anything just yet though... one day at a time! Congrats again and like @SunnySideUp2020 said that's not a faint line at all!! Definitely positive! 🌈🌈🌈 fingers crossed this lucky streak of BFPs continues all the way through May!! 💫💫💫 🤞🏻🍀

MrsLBear · 02/05/2020 09:47

@TerribleImagination I'm sure it'll be a blazing positive.
Well I might go and buy a test today but not too sure. I don't know if I can face another negative so might just wait. I've woken up with what feels like a stinking cold which is so weird as we've not been out the house since Monday. Don't know if it's hay fever though?! Bloody better not be corona. I mean my temp is low still and I'm not coughing just a head cold feeling.

Awww January bub. I am obsessed with looking at due dates. I'm a bit sad like that. Will you have an early scan?

I know @Fizzl so many positives. Fills me with lots of hope I really do need.
Been watching normal people on bbc (a series) and oh my god I am sobbing. My pre af hormones are NOT helping. If anyone fancies a good cry....

MilsCookie · 02/05/2020 09:53

@MrsLBear I've been watching Normal People too! It's great! I'm really excited for you to test too.... fingers crossed your sniffly nose is a symptom!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Annny27 · 02/05/2020 09:57

Congratulations @TerribleImagination 😍😍😍😍 bloody hell we have had a lot of bfps 💗💗💗

OP posts:
MrsLBear · 02/05/2020 10:03

@MilsCookie what do you think? I'm on the last episode and I am addicted. Don't think one episodes gone by where I've not sobbed. I need to get a life 😂
Thank you!! It's more likely to be corona than a BFP I think haha.

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 10:05

Thanks so much everyone! ❤️ I keep looking at the test 🙈 Took another pic in the nice bright bathroom and it’s better, which made me happy! Aww you’re all so lovely with your gorgeous words and well wishes! ❤️ I love this thread 🥰

@MilsCookie On the NHS due date calculator, do you use your average cycle length, or the predicted cycle length for this month? I just did it... Going on this month (30 days) it says due 11th Jan. Going by my average which is 27, it’s saying 7th Jan! I know I’m 4+2 based on LMP, but I’m pretty sure I only implanted 4 days ago, when my RHR dipped for a day!

Yeah if I get that far this time I’ll deffo get an early scan. I had it booked last time, but miscarried before the date. I’m the same as you, taking it a day at a time just now. Not gonna book anything until I’m at least 6 weeks - crossing everything I get there and beyond! 🤞🏻

Fantastic news @TerribleImagination!!! Congratulations and that’s a definite positive🎉🌈!! So happy to see more BFPs coming our way!!

@Ejb86 that’s such a mess up with the CV testing! Hopefully you don’t have it and you start to feel better soon.

@MrsLBear best of luck with your testing🤞be great to keep this run going!!

@Moominmiss welcome back! Sorry you’ve had to go through that with your friend not telling you. It can seem like a lonely place TTC sometimes, that’s why I find it helps to come on here.xx

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 10:12

Also if anyone is wondering if I did anything different / what I did this month (cos I know I do when I see BFP’s!) here you go...

This was the 5th month of trying since the MC, but 4th full cycle since. We did SMEP to the T this month! Have loosely done it most months, but never managed those 3 days in a row until this month. So we DTD CD8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 21. I got my positive OPK on CD17. I also used pre-seed every time and stayed lying down after until I went to sleep (ew, I know). I’ve been taking Seven Seas trying for a baby since the month I conceived before, as well as omega 3, but this month I also took 100mg of vitamin B6 every day. I ate loads of veggies and chicken for lunch every day (apparently protein is good!) and took vitamin c every day after ovulation too. None of that could have made the slightest difference though, this could have just been a better month, who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m going to keep taking the b6 too and hope that helps it stay put! 🤞🏻

MilsCookie · 02/05/2020 10:28

@MrsLBear yeah I think it's good although we watched episode 8 yesterday and I thought it was a bit unrealistic!

@TerribleImagination by my LMP I should be 4+6 but I'm going by my average cycle length of 31 days so I'm going to say 4+3... would rather think I'm less and then (hopefully) get to the dating scan to be told I'm further ahead! I would go by your average cycle (or when you think AF was due this month) Funny the things we "try" to try and get pregnant. This month I ditched all the stuff we'd tried in previous months and just "tried to relax" (I know that saying is SO annoying) and this was the month we caught! But I think you have to just do whatever you think is right for you and a lot of the time it is a matter of luck. xxx

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 10:38

@MilsCookie Oh definitely! Haha I did the opposite and threw literally everything I could at it 🤣

Average cycle length does make more sense!

ChampooPapi · 02/05/2020 12:57

@TerribleImagination amazing news! I've been checking this thread obsessively for an update! Congratulations lovely 🎉💜. I caught 5 months after as well! Your body is prepped and ready for this, it's a different egg, and different sperm, and a different pregnancy. So you've got absolutely everything going for you this time that it will work out.

Your pregnant! 🍾♀️♂️🌈👣

ChampooPapi · 02/05/2020 13:00

@MilsCookie ha! Yes! I ditched everything, litrally everything and drank like I had a thirst 😂

Dry as a bone for over a month though now so pretty happy I got a few large pours in pre pregnancy

ChampooPapi · 02/05/2020 13:03

And I really do think it just takes time, which is also VERY annoying when people say this, but the body needs months to regulate and recover after a loss like ours near the end of our first trimester. Especially after surgery, I mean maybe the first few months a fair few of us didn't even ovulate? It would make sense to how much we all have done it around the 'right times'. I mean I was having sex a few months in the early days like 15 times a cycle! But not even a chemical.

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 13:35

@ChampooPapi Ahhh thank you lovely! That last ‘you’re pregnant’ made me smile big 😃

You’re so right, it’s a different pregnancy completely, so I need to keep telling myself that.

In other news I’ve woken up with the worst back pain!! It feels like an injury! I’ve had it this bad before but when I know I’ve injured it! What on earth happened while I slept 😂 I can barely walk!

ChampooPapi · 02/05/2020 13:45

@TerribleImagination it's your ligaments, my back completely went at 4 and a half weeks, like completely. All I did was stretch my legs and point my toes. Go very easy!

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 14:06

@ChampooPapi I did wonder if it was relaxin messing things up back there! Interesting you had the same thing! I’m gonna try a gentle walk and see if that helps. How long did your back pain last?

ChampooPapi · 02/05/2020 14:28

@TerribleImagination well it went into total spasm so I had to take prescribed codeine and paracetamol, which wasn't ideal in my first week of pregnancy. But probably better then having to take it in the second or third trimester. It completely 'went' like in the films where someone stands up and goes 'oh my back!' and can't stand up straight or move basically.

The first two days were absolute agony, you just absolutely have to keep moving it. I just circled the living room and hobbled around the next few days after a nights sleep and the drugs started working. The worst thing is to lay down in the same position.

Looking back, no pun intended!, It was a good distraction as I completely stopped thinking about my positive test

ChampooPapi · 02/05/2020 14:30

After a week my back had returned to normal service 😊

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 14:33

@ChampooPapi Haha yes same here!! I always get a bit of pelvic pain when I hurt my back too, so all of that is taking my mind off of any uterus twinges etc! Although I would like to be able to sit and stand without having to go ‘OWWWWWWWW’ out loud 🤣 I’m doing laps of the house and gonna go out for a little walk soon 👍🏻 that’s so encouraging that the worst of your pain was over with after a couple of days!

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 14:39

@ChampooPapi I’ve got some co-codamol in too! Just chatting to my best mate (who’s a midwife) and she said it’s totally fine to take too - excellent news! Gonna pop some of those when my 4 hours after paracetamol is up!
