They are different drugs so you take them together, 2 paracetamol and 2 condine. Or as you took paracetamol a couple of hours ago you can knock yourself out on the codine right now and take two. They work best together for back pain.

Knock yourself out was probably not the best turn of phrase 😂

TerribleImagination · 02/05/2020 16:40

@ChampooPapi 🤣🤣🤣 I’ve only got the co-codamol so combined ones! I just took two of those so hoping that helps! If not I reckon my midwife friend might have some codine...

Annny27 · 02/05/2020 19:21

Just been doing some DIY today- absolutely hate it but can't bring myself to pay anyone else to do it haha

Interesting to see what you did differently last month @TerribleImagination !!

@ChampooPapi hopefully this 5th month will be my success then 🤞🤞🤞 my periods were much lighter to first few months after surgery and are now normal heaviness with more cramps so hopefully that means body is returning to normality! We were end of first trimester and then had medical management which failed, then lost loads of blood had to have emergency surgery and then had an infection so definitely my body needed some time to recover 🤣.....hope its healed now:p

@Annny27 Crossing everything that your 5th month is lucky too! When are you due AF / to test?

ChampooPapi · 02/05/2020 19:41

@Annny27 your body went through so much, and unlike some of us, you had an infection as well as both the medical 'management' followed by surgery. That is a hell of a lot for your body to have gone through. The hormones, the stress, the body still thinking it was pregnant right up until that point, and all this was only (I know it seems ages!) But really just 4 months ago. Yes it's long enough now, and I definitely know that from all your posts, that your body is completely ready now to conceive. And you can, and did get pregnant. And not just for a few weeks like people who have recurring issues, you had something so devastating happen to you, but it was just horrible bad luck. Any other egg and sperm would have made it, I truly believe that. But the baby you had was non viable and it couldn't continue , just like mine and milescookie, and many other women here. But next time those chances are literally nearly zero that it will happen again, especially now after a proper healing time internally, especially for your uterus to carry this next pregnancy.

You have an incredibly high chance now of conceiving over the next couple of months. It feels so painful all this time I know, but I saw it as I was pregnant for three months so it took three months for my body to sort it's self out. Then two months later I got the positive.

Be really really kind to yourself and I think you are absolutely amazing for running this thread and supporting so many people here, I will never forget you and the words you have written on here, or what you went through. I remember when you were in the middle of it all! It was bloody horrendous. You are so strong and so brave and it is going to happen.

It just is going to take some more of that grit girl 💪💜♀️

Annny27 · 02/05/2020 22:58

@TerribleImagination it depends when I ovulate as that can fluctuate a bit. But around the 29th May I think AF will have been late.

You have such a way with words @ChampooPapi 💗 you have really given me some positive mental attitude for this cycle!

Its amazing how "strangers" on the Internet can so positively impact your life! I will hopefully look back at all this and think wow 5 months really wasn't that long at all 🤞 and that is something that gave me hope. It was a lack of progesterone or anything as the pregnancy hormones kept my body going (annoyingly!)

P.s Are you going to find out the twins gender?

OP posts:
Annny27 · 02/05/2020 22:58

It wasn't a lack*

That's something I kept trying to tell myself when I was ttc my pregnancy that was a loss (took 8 months)...a month right now seems FOREVER and is so hard...but once that baby is here, a month is nothing, they are a part of your life for the rest of your life...
It's hard to believe that as each month is so draining, but this is all temporary...soon it will be a distant memory and (hopefully...I really hope for all of us) the pain of trying and loss will barely be remembered. Fingers crossed for you this month @Annny27

Annny27 · 04/05/2020 10:06

@Whiffle77 yes hopefully the pain will be behind us 🙌

How are all my fellow ttc girls? I had some EWCM yesterday at cd6 which was weird....not sure if this means ovulation is coming early (I usually have 5 days or more of ewcm so might be early, might not be haha.....my body likes to keep me on my toes)

OP posts:
scrumdiddly123 · 04/05/2020 10:36

Morning @Annny27 all good here thanks. CD9 today and no sign of anything happening yet! I don’t usually ov til CD18 was though so another boring week to get through 😂
That is early for EWCM! When do you normally ov?
I’m temping this month for the first time too so will be interesting to see when I actually ovulate based on that!

ELM7 · 04/05/2020 11:14

Coming to the end of the long TWW here.

AF due any when between Wed and Sat (as now seem to have anything between 25 and 29 day cycle) Determined not to test until Sat if no sign. Also keeping an eye on RHR so if that doesn’t increase in the next couple of days I won’t be hopefully for this month.

SunnySideUp2020 · 04/05/2020 14:56

Fingers crossed for you @ELM7

Not much happening on my side CD10
Not doing opk this month
Do is doing a semen analysis with fertility clinic this Wednesday so can dtd now, and after we Will do it for a few days as it should be fertile week from tomorrow.

Mood hasn’t been great for either of us since finding out about the low morphology. We are trying hard to be positive- i think it just takes a little while to accept that things arent as we thought!

SunnySideUp2020 · 04/05/2020 14:57

Cannot dtd these days i meant^

Fizzl · 04/05/2020 15:40

Hi all, CD11 for me so going into fertile week already. Can't believe how quick the weeks are going at the minute to say we're stuck in this lockdown situation! I'm not complaining though, quick weeks are good! I seem get a positive opk around CD16-19 so we're going to try SMEP more religiously this month and dtd every other day until then.

@Annny27 our bodies definitely like playing tricks on us! I'm hoping to ovulate earlier this month as it was really late last month. The yogas really helping me feel more chilled and I've also cut out most dairy from my diet to see if that helps with my hormones. But even if I do ovulate earlier, I expect my lp to still be the same. But at least I'm feeling proactive!

scrumdiddly123 · 04/05/2020 20:30

I think I might have to phone EPAU again tomorrow. Even though I was there last week and the pregnancy test was negative (with a v dilute sample!) I’ve just got this on a FRER 😫 I had been testing with cheapies and kept getting a barely there line which I was telling myself was just an evap. But I think there must still be hcg in my system from the MC! Will be so fed up if that’s the case!

Catching up - ttc after miscarriage part 2
Fizzl · 04/05/2020 22:20

Ah @scrumdiddly123 I can see the faintest of lines 😔 I feel your frustration. My pregnancy tests remained positive for weeks and eventually my period arrived before they were showing as negative. I seem to recall epu not being overly concerned and that residue hormone can linger for a while but I know your situation is slightly different. I think they should have scanned you last week, it would save all this uncertainty for you 💐

scrumdiddly123 · 04/05/2020 22:43

@Fizzl I’m more annoyed with myself for not insisting they scanned me anyway as that’s what I was there for! Never mind. It is so faint so I’m hopeful that it might still sort itself out if left another week or so.
Might ring to see what they advise x

Annny27 · 05/05/2020 09:34

thats frustrating @scrumdiddly123 :( I had a darker line then that on my frer after my miscarriage and my hcg blood levels came back as 5 so they don't class that as pregnant just some of the hormones take while to leave the body
They might want to do a blood test though.take the test with you to show them if they do ask you to go in.

@fizzl I think my ewcm was a one of fluke as its gona back to sticky/watery like it usually is this time of the month! Are you using opks?

@SunnySideUp2020 yeah I imagine the results would have had a negative impact on your modd and stuff :( fingers crossed that you still manage to hit the FW even with the days you aren't allowed to DTD. I usually ovulate between 14-17 but there have been some months where it is earlier or later. The perks of slightly irregular cycles haha

@ELM7 the tww is torture! Stay strong with the not testing 🙌💪💪💪

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 05/05/2020 10:28

@scrumdiddly123 it looks like your hcg is taking its time to come back to 0. But as Anny said sometimes the frer picks up like 6 as level or 5 and they will classify as not pregnant. It also happened to me. In fact below 20 they said after mc is not considered pregnant (if i remember correctly).
I guess as long as your cycle are back to normal everything should be ok.
But i totally understand the frustration of it all. And still seeing these positive pregnancy test must make you feel sad ... 💓

@annny27

Are you tracking this month??

MilsCookie · 05/05/2020 11:13

Morning ladies,

Oh @scrumdiddly123 I'm so sorry that must be so frustrating! Like @SunnySideUp2020 said if your cycle has gone back to normal everything must be okay and you should be ovulating again. So annoying though cos you must just wanna see an obvious BFN so you know exactly where you stand! Are you doing opks as well?

@SunnySideUp2020 that's great your DP is having more tests tomorrow. I hope you both get some more answers and they can give you some guidance of what to do next. But hopefully you can still dtd and maybe even get lucky this month! I will be keeping all my fingers and toes crossed for you xxx

@ELM7 really hope your RHR starts to increase tomorrow!!! Fingers crossed!! :-D xxx

@Fizzl and @Annny27 hope you're both okay too.... I have a good feeling for you this cycle!! xxx

Melds22 · 05/05/2020 14:07

Massive congrats @MilsCookie and @TerribleImagination I'm so incredibly happy for you both!! Your positivity has been so refreshing when reading the posts and I love hearing success stories.
Sorry I've been sat on the sidelines but I've been in a really sad place and didn't want to drag anyone down with me. I'm feeling much more positive now although I haven't got my period yet and MC with light bleed for a week on 1st April so may be too early yet. Did anybody else have a similar MC without surgery or anything? If so when did u get your 1st period?
@Moominmiss I can imagine exactly how you're feeling, it's sad your friend couldn't come to you 1st. Alot of the mums I spent most leave with last year are preggo with their 2nd and it's sad I can't join in their excitement. I'm sure you will be next and have all the excitement to come

TerribleImagination · 05/05/2020 14:53

Aww thank you @Melds22 ❤️

So sorry to hear you’ve been feeling so sad. That first month after the MC is just awful. I MC’d without needing surgery and if I include the MC as day 1 of that cycle, it was 32 days until my next period. Hang in there lovey! Sending love ❤️

scrumdiddly123 · 05/05/2020 17:08

@Annny27 @SunnySideUp2020 @MilsCookie thank you that’s made me feel much better! My cycle does seem to be regulating so hopefully the amount still there is tiny and not enough to be a problem. I didn’t phone in the end as can’t face another hospital trip so will just see what happens this cycle and go from there!
I am using opks and temping so hopefully will have a good idea of when/if I ovulate!
Hey @Melds22 so sorry you’re feeling sad. I bled with this MC from 1st April and started bleeding again on 26th which I’m assuming was AF. It’s been a very unusual, drawn out miscarriage though, after my first MC last year AF arrived after 37 days x

Melds22 · 05/05/2020 17:33

Yeah I had 2 day spotting a cpl of weeks ago but this MC was totally different to my 1st as in there was so much blood, clots, cramps it was horrific and I bled for 3 weeks then took 8 mths till i got preggo with my DD.
I can only hope that as this one was like a normal period with no clots or anything drastic that I will get preggo quicker this time...who knows! It gives me hope to see all the BFP's in the group at the moment Smile

Leok83 · 05/05/2020 21:30

Evening ladies. CD13 here, trying my best to not think too much about it, am doing opks but definitely trying to be more relaxed so hopefully ov will be in the next 3-5 days. Have had a few bits to do in the garden so have gone hell for leather at that to keep my mind off it and also to get all heavy lifting out of the way now in the hope this might be our month!

@scrumdiddly123 that’s so frustrating the line is still there. It’s definitely barely there tho so hopefully it won’t be long until it’s fully negative.

@ELM7 🤞for you testing!!

@SunnySideUp2020 I hope the tests go ok tomorrow. It’s good at least you are getting to the fertility clinic with all that’s going on to know at least where to go from here..I can imagine how tough it is at the moment for you though 💕
