Thank you so so much @Fizzl - you kept me sane when I was in hospital going through my miscarriage and I will never forget that. I feel like we have been on this journey together. Really hoping and keeping everything crossed this is your month!!

Thank you @SunnySideUp2020 that's very kind, especially after the news you've just had. Big love and baby dust to you Star xxx

@ChampooPapi and @Sparkl....... eeeeeeeeeek!!!! Thank you!!!!! Due date is 7th Jan 2021 according to the NHS calculator... let's hope I make it that far this time!

Keeping everything crossed for @ELM7 @TerribleImagination and @MrsLBear coming up soon xxx

MilsCookie · 30/04/2020 15:47

@Sparkl oops forgot to add... only "symptoms" before my BFP were sore boobs which I usually get anyway. I also think maybe I felt implantation as I wrote in my notes at 8dpo that I felt a big sudden twinge on the left side of my uterus! Then from then on I have had on and off cramps and I still have them today. I thought it was AF but now I've noticed it feels like a dull heavy pressure. Yesterday and today I've felt really exhausted around 3pm and had an hour long nap yesterday and about to have another one! That's it really! I've had practically zero CM, when last time I had LOADS before my BFP! This one is very different to my first one so I'm hoping that's a good sign! xxx

MrsLBear · 30/04/2020 16:37

@ELM7 I absolutely love your tattoo. So sorry for your losses. After mine my husband got my a little bracelet that I always wear so will always carry the memory with me (in a good way).
Wishing you the best of luck for this cycle.

Thank you @sparkl. How are you getting on?

That's so interesting it's different to your symptoms before @MilsCookie. Also shows you that really symptoms spotting is a load of 💩 yet we all do it monthly haha. Did you have a tiny idea that you might be pregnant?

ELM7 · 30/04/2020 16:48

Thank you @MrsLBear. It’s lovely to have something to keep close to us to remember them by. xx

MilsCookie · 30/04/2020 17:32

@MrsLBear I think some people definitely do have more obvious symptoms in their TWW, but I genuinely thought I was out from around 5dpo as my boobs started hurting as they always do at that point pre-AF. Two nights ago I wrote that I had terrible, painful trapped wind for a few hours which I thought could've been from eating too fast but it did make me think "hmmm, that's a bit different?" Hmm The only time I've allowed myself to think I could be pregnant was yesterday afternoon (day AF was due) when I felt overwhelmingly tired at around 3pm that I had to have a nap! In my first pregnancy I was the same with the tiredness in the afternoon throughout the first 8 weeks so it did make me question it. But on the whole I didn't have any symptoms or what people 'expect' to get when they're pregnant. Still don't have any CM! Keeping everything crossed for you!!! xx

TerribleImagination · 30/04/2020 18:02

Thank you @Sparkl and @MilsCookie! And I had totally forgotten you were the one who set up the January thread! After being on 5 of them they all kind of merge into one don’t they 😂 Thank you so much for bringing us all together on there. I honestly don’t think I’d have coped without being able to come here and chat to you all about all the random stuff we chat about 😂❤️

Fizzl · 30/04/2020 18:13

Ah @MilsCookie I also remember you were the first person I properly spoke with on here as we were going through everything at the exact same time. I took so much comfort and reassurance from you, especially after you had your surgery just before me. It's definitely been a journey and it won't end here! We'll all see each other through pregnancies and hopefully everyone taking home their babies! I'm sending you all the best wishes 💐

Leok83 · 30/04/2020 20:13

Oh wow @MilsCookie that is just the best news to log onto!! Absolutely thrilled for you!!!😊😊And I don’t think for a minute anyone could be jealous of anyone else in the group so never feel bad about posting! It definitely gives hope to us all💕💕

@Annny27 @TerribleImagination @Fizzl @SunnySideUp2020 @ELM7 I’ve been on here since Jan too..also a long stander now😕 But have come a long way since then..I joined on those horrible dark few days immediately after the MC..and being able to come here and vent and get such great positive stories and advice from such lovely ladies has been such a help😊

@ELM7 that’s such a sweet tattoo..lovely idea.

@Annny27 I really hope you get that BFP on ur mums birthday too!

Sparkl · 01/05/2020 09:23

@MrsLBear @MilsCookie I know what you mean about the symptom spotting. Seems like you could have af symptoms or pregnancy symptoms and it could be that you are pregnant... or you aren’t ! 🤷‍♀️
There should be one bloody thing that doesn’t apply to both!

@mrslbear I’m ok thanks, well I’m super anxious. Constantly checking my dates. I had an early mc at 6 weeks so just trying to survive until then. Basically no symptoms but I didn’t in previous pregnancies either. Would love a bit of nausea 😅

Annny27 · 01/05/2020 09:40

Thanks everyone for your kind messages of positivity for the next cycle 🤞 I am looking forward to enjoying my cider this weekend and then back to the baby making when AF is over haha.

@ELM7 that's a gorgeous tattoo. When we lost our baby I thought of getting a tattoo. I am a bit of a whimp and I dont have any tattoos but I like the idea of two tiny footprints somewhere.

@Leok83 its so true, this group is a safe space for us

@TerribleImagination will be hoping for a bfp for you soon then 🤞🤞🤞

@fizzl are you properly trying this month? We will be - got the opks ordered but I won't be temping this month. I find it too stressful!

@MilsCookie was your DP really excited too? :D

OP posts:
ELM7 · 01/05/2020 09:49

I’m a complete wimp and this was by first tattoo. Hubbys friend is a tattoo artist and he looked after me putting numbing cream on first 😂

I keep thinking about temping (currently do OPKs) but think it would stress me out having to do it before getting up and moving around.

Fizzl · 01/05/2020 10:06

@Annny27 yes I think we've decided that things aren't going to be totally normal in re to the whole covid situation for some time so we might as well crack on. Our local hospital is starting to offer routine appointments again now as they've remained fairly quiet so knowing that I feel better and like I'm not going to be a huge burden by getting pregnant!

I'm trying to stay more chilled but I'm going to continue temping just to keep an eye on my luteal phase. My apps have previously assumed I ovulated on the day of my peak lh whereas temping put me at a day later, and therefore one less day on my lp and this may have been the case previous months if I had temped!

I have days where I'm like it's fine, I've fallen pregnant before and so have others without it being a big issue. Then I have other days where I'm like it's definitely a problem and maybe last time we fell pregnant it was a complete fluke and it's going to make it so much harder and it's never going to happen again. You know the usual brain ramblings 🙄

MilsCookie · 01/05/2020 10:18

Morning ladies,

Ahhhhh thank you so much @Fizzl and @Leok83 your words mean so much to me 😘

@Sparkl totally agree - wish the symptoms were more distinguishable so that we wouldn't go crazy during the tww! I'm sure your symptoms will start soon.

@Annny27 he was... I dipped the FRER and then took it back to the bedroom (it was only 6am when I tested I couldn't sleep!) we turned it over together and before he'd just kept saying he didn't want to see it as it would just be negative. Then he stared at it for ages and was like "hmmm. There does appear to be something there 🤔!!" It was a lovely moment. He then asked me to get the bear he bought me when I went into hospital for my surgery (the bear is also now a symbol of our lost bean) and we just held the bear and cuddled and then he started sobbing...and then that set me off! So many emotions. Still having cramps on and off which is obviously terrifying!!

I'm hoping, wishing, praying and keeping all my fingers and toes really crossed that the universe brings all of you your BFPs this month 💫🌈👣

MrsLBear · 01/05/2020 10:50

@MilsCookie you've made me cry. That is so touching and so sweet and just highlights how much it's wanted 💕💕💕💕💕

Annny27 · 01/05/2020 10:56

Awwh@MilsCookie thats so lovely!!! Welling up over here! We have a little near that my DH bought me after the surgery which is our little memory of her (we think her, we have no idea really haha)

@MrsLBear she made me cry too 😪🥰🤣

@fizzl I think we are ethe same person sometimes haha! I go from "it will happen this month" to "I definitely have a blood clotting issue, low progesterone and an uninhabitable womb lining" the joys of being a worrier haha

@ELM7 awwh that's sweet that your first tattoo was a memory for your babies 💗

Annny27 · 01/05/2020 10:56

@MilsCookie ^^ it didn't tag above

OP posts:
Whiffle77 · 01/05/2020 11:33

Oh gosh @MilsCookie that made me well up too, that's so lovely! So pleased for you. Please try not to worry about cramps, I know that's easier said than done but there is so much going on in there this early that it's completely normal to have them. I have had lots this time around but all is ok so far. Sending you lots of positive thoughts!

Fizzl · 01/05/2020 12:27

@Annny27 I am such a worrier. My husband is so laid back and tells me I just need to chill. And I know he's right but my brain has other ideas and always seems to be overthinking everything. And google never helps. I read that acupuncture can help with a short lp so I've already decided that as soon as I can, I'm going for acupuncture. It's probably a waste of money but if Doctor google says it will work, I'm willing to give it a go 😂🙄

TerribleImagination · 01/05/2020 12:39

@MilsCookie that’s such a gorgeous and also heartbreaking moment between you and DP ❤️ Totally welling up here too!

I’m probably gonna test tomorrow morning 🙈 AF due Sunday according to Clue, which would give me a 12 day LF, but last month it was only 11 days... I’m going mad with every twinge / potential symptom 🙈 Got some FRER’s coming from Amazon today, argh! Don’t know if any of this means anything, but I had a resting heart rate dip at 8DPO (apparently it can dip for implantation) and (TMI) but CM is deffo different for this time in cycle... Nothing on the tissue really, but I can feel it and also some in underwear like around my fertile week... Feel quite nauseous today, but I can get that before AF too... No sore boobs whatsoever, which I usually have before AF... Twinges and very very mild cramps (through to my lower back) since like 4/5DPO. ARGH!

MilsCookie · 01/05/2020 12:45

Sorry for making you girls well up @MrsLBear @Annny27 @Whiffle77 and @TerribleImagination!! It was a beautiful moment.

Oh my goodness @terribleimagination those symptoms sound really promising!! I'm so excited for you to test! Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻🌈🤞🏻🌈🤞🏻🌈🤞🏻🌈🤞🏻

TerribleImagination · 01/05/2020 12:50

@MilsCookie Thanks lovey!! Everything crossed here! 🤞🏻🌈 Really hope these symptoms mean something!

Whiffle77 · 01/05/2020 13:22

Exactly the same as my household @Fizzl I reckon I'd go mad if I didnt have my husband to bring me back to earth!!
I had acupuncture starting a week after my MC, I felt destroyed physically and was so anxious. I cannot overstate how much better it made me feel. The women I had were lovely, it was sometimes like therapy too. I don't think I would've recovered so fast physically or mentally without it. I am missing it so much as it's obviously not available at the minute, but will have some again once "normality" or something close to it returns. There are an awful lot of acupunterists who specialise in fertility too. I bought a book to read about it too, and really buy into it - but I understand why others wouldn't. I wasn't sure at the beginning but thought well it makes me feel like I am doing something positive, and that alone makes me feel better. It can be quite expensive though.

Fizzl · 01/05/2020 16:34

Ah @Milscookie that does sound like a really lovely moment with your dp.

@TerribleImagination fingers crossed for you! I hope we get another positive on this thread!

@Whiffle77 thanks for sharing your experience. I'm glad it really helped and it's good to hear from someone who's actually tried it! I've already researched what's available locally and know where I'm gona go as soon as it's all back up and running 😂 I used to be a bit of a needle phobe and the fact I'm now happy to willingly let someone jab needles into me I think tells me the lengths I'm willing to go. But I think like you've said it's just that feeling like I'm doing something to help things along!

Leok83 · 01/05/2020 17:39

Aw @MilsCookie that sounds so sweet and very emotional!

@Fizzl I also tried accupuncture immediately after MC and had been going right up until Coronavirus made everything shut down. I don’t know if it helped but I found it very relaxing so I’ll prob go back if it reopens again. My mum and sisters swear by it for aches and pains (combination of back and arthritis between them). The needles aren’t sore at all really..the odd one might pinch!

Leok83 · 01/05/2020 17:41

@TerribleImagination 🤞for you testing tomorrow morning!!
