Oh no @GlitterFairy1412 I’m so sorry 😥 that’s rubbish for you sending hugs xxx

Annny27 · 26/04/2020 08:23

Morning :) 11dpo today - had some brown ewcm- esc cm yesterday which was weird! I am semi hopeful as DH keeps saying my books look huge so perhaps pregnancy boobs? But then again I say this every month so I am not convinced 🤣🤣

@GlitterFairy1412 you must be gutted! I was totally expecting to see a bfp from you this morning :( so sorry lovely!

@MilsCookie any symptoms? Its so hard isn't it to resist testing!!

@Sparkl i also worry about stuff like thyroid and low progesterone even though got no reason to, I just like to worry 🙈

SunnySideUp2020 · 26/04/2020 08:26

Sorry @GlitterFairy1412
It’s totally normal to feel disappointed 😞
Look after yourself!

The most important thing that our mumsnet groups have taught me month after month since the beginning of this year is that each month is a new one and new bfp happen for a few of us everytime.
And for all the ladies who got AF (included myself) or who haven’t been successful once again, it will happen!!! 💓🌈🤞🏽

@Sparkl you can ramble on here as much as you need!!
As it was said before it’s always nice to hear about the pregnant ladies 😬

SunnySideUp2020 · 26/04/2020 08:27

@Annny27 omggg could be implantation bleeding!!!! When are you testing???

Fizzl · 26/04/2020 09:03

Ah @GlitterFairy1412 our bodies are so cruel. I'm sorry af got you too .

@Sparkl and @Annny27 I also worried about all my levels. The hospital did bloods a few months ago and said everything came back normal. I asked my gp surgery for my results last week. They said everything was well within normal and mentioned my thyroid levels were 2.5 but didn't make any other comment about it. Of course I've googled it and in most countries that's the cut off for medicating but not in the uk. I've fallen down a bit of a google rabbit hole with it because so many on the symptoms seems to fit. I'm always freezing and tired even if I've had 10hrs sleep (rare but even when I do I'm still tired). I've always just thought it was normal for me but I'm starting to wonder now. My husband thought I was trying to diagnose myself and make the symptoms fit but when I read out the symptoms to him even he was like yeah that does sound like you.

The only one they wouldn't have been able to accurately test was progesterone because it was too early in my cycle when they took bloods and that is the main one I worry about having a short luteal phase.

The GP gave me the usual pep talk everyone gets about trying not to worry and to give it another 6 months to let everything settle etc etc which I know is right but I can't help but shake this feeling somethings not right.

@Annny27 the brown spotting could be promising! Did you get implantation bleeding last time? 🤞

Annny27 · 26/04/2020 09:28

I didn't get implantation bleeding last time but I do sometimes get brown spotting before AF so could be that 🙄 i just lose more and more hope the closer I get to AF arrival @SunnySideUp2020 of course a part of me still has a glimmer of hope 🙈

@fizzl its so hard not to self diagnose isn't it. If we haven't conceived this cycle I am going to speak to my GP and hopefully get started on some tests once the virus stuff has settled.

Leok83 · 26/04/2020 10:23

Im so sorry AF has come for you guys @SunnySideUp2020 @Fizzl and @GlitterFairy1412 but I love the outlook you have SunnySideUp2020 that each cycle at least 1 of us is catching so hopefully we’ll all get there soon with sticky beans!

@Annny27 that does sound promising as an IB! I really hope it is..have everything crossed for you and @MilsCookie🤞🤞🤞

@scrumdiddly123 I’m so sorry this is still dragging on for you, I really hope the consultant can get to the bottom of it tomorrow.

@Sparkl id say not to worry about the low BBT, mines the same and my thyroid is fine! Can be you sleep with mouth open or other variables and to get true BBT it needs to be done vaginally ( and I truly think my DH would lock me up if I started that in the mornings 😄). I definitely recommend not temping after the BFP so it’s a good job the thermometer broke😄. I think it’s normal to be a nervous wreck after everything so def come here to vent or get reassurance! Also its great for morale to see success stories and how your getting on so please don’t go!!!

MilsCookie · 26/04/2020 10:55

Morning ladies Smile

Ahh I'm so sorry @GlitterFairy1412 - that happened to me the first month we tried after the mmc... my period decided to be 1 day late and I got a really faint line on a FRER so I got my hopes up... she arrived later that evening. So from now on I really want to wait until I'm a few days late!

@Annny27 oh wow that sounds promising!! I really really hope it's an IB! I don't feel any different to how I usually feel at this point in my cycle... still have sore boobs but the cramping I had 8dpo-10dpo has gone now. But I checked back to previous cycles and I don't think that means anything cos I seem to get cramps around that time every cycle and then it goes just before AF arrives! So AF is probably still on her way.... 12dpo today so not much longer to wait before I can start a new cycle!

ChampooPapi · 26/04/2020 11:36

Hey ladies I'm still popping in to check and keep getting my hope up too when I see your posts. I'm really sorry for everyone who got there af, its so rubbish. The whole process is so painful but it's going to happen for everyone here. Once you've got pregnant you will become pregnant again, it is just a long emotional and physical road that is for certain. And people who catch the following month or two are really in the minority. Plus I've seen a fair few who catch early but have another miscarriage or chemical pregnancy because their wombs/bodies, whatever it is! Is not ready to sustain that pregnancy.

I think after a miscarriage some people's cycles take a fair old time to get back to normal. It took me give months and Jesus we had so much sex. But when you do catch after a good space of time your body is going to be so ready and strong, and I like to think people who take longers bodies are better at not allowing non viable pregnancies to sneak through, only to re miscarry.

May will be someone's month, and April will be someone else's.

It will be your turn and it'll stick this time 💜

ChampooPapi · 26/04/2020 11:38

@Annny27 and obviously 🤞🤞🤞😵

TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 12:13

@ChampooPapi That message was gorgeous ❤️ Definitely what I needed to hear in the 2WW! 😘

Your story gives me hope! I’m on full cycle 4 since MC, but 5th try and had been getting so upset and frustrated each month it didn’t happen... but what you’re saying makes so much sense. I’m gonna hold on to that this month. Thank you 🥰

TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 12:14

@ChampooPapi Also hope you’re well lovey! My DP is a twin and he loves it so much, they’re like one person 😂 It’s so special ❤️

ChampooPapi · 26/04/2020 12:26

@TerribleImagination 💜 it's really just that passing of time that seems to simultaneously be the slowest ever but also the months pass in the block of an eye. The negative parts of your brain often rule and they say 'god every hour is torture waiting' as well as 'well you've been trying for months and they are just wizzing by, your life is just dissapearing in this purgatory!'.

It's so incredibly emotional and your in your own head so much with it all.

This thread kept my chin up and posters like yourself who respond in such a kind , positive, and thoughtful way made me feel like I had to try harder, I had to be better, I had to be grateful for the support or even just this life and space I found myself in.

All the dust I can humanly muster to you ✨🌈👣

Sparkl · 26/04/2020 13:03

Thank you for your lovely messages! It’s so nice to be able to come here and offload, you ladies know the struggle better than anyone!

@GlitterFairy1412 so sorry AF came, and being late as well is so cruel.

@SunnySideUp2020 it is a lovely way to think about it.

@MilsCookie I was googling (of course) low bbt and thyroid. I have bad circulation too and like @Fizzl always tired.
@Fizzl when I had day 21 test my gp said in passing thyroid was fine but didn’t give me the result and I know my mum had thyroid issues in the past. They were also giving the whole relax and wait a few more months speech but it feels a bit dismissive sometimes. Yet here I am with a positive test so although I don’t take my own advice, try not to worry too much!

@Leok83 you’re right I know I should stop! That’s so funny though, I thought about doing the vaginal temperatures for about five seconds and then thought my oh will think I’ve actually lost it if I start this! 😆

@Annny27 fingers tightly crossed for you!!

GlitterFairy1412 · 26/04/2020 13:49

Thanks everyone. @ChampooPapi that was beautiful to read, it really helped pick me up after the disappointment. I hope you and the twins are doing well ♥️

Day 2 of my new cycle and AF is still light but getting heavier and the cramping has well and truly started now. I'm glad I didn't test because I think seeing a positive and then coming on straight after might have broken me.

Onwards and upwards, treated myself to some Ben & Jerry's to soften the disappointment and now I'm looking forward to the chance to try again 😁

Annny27 · 26/04/2020 15:34

Feeling fragile 😪 we just had a video chat and my cousin announced their pregnancy and I feel awful for having that sinking feeling instead of happiness. I didn't have my camera on because I was half dressed and I am so thankful because my face just dropped when they said! 😔😔😔

@ChampooPapi thank you lovely for your message! Its true, its been 4 cycles for us now so it helps to see you succeeded after 5!

@leok83 thank you! I am feeling more like AF will arrive soon but a bfp will be a pleasant surprise! How are you feeling?

@sparkl I am gonna call the GP after this cycle as its approaching the year mark of June!

@TerribleImagination have you ovualtwd? :D

@MilsCookie I think we are both feeling pretty deflated and already thinking AF will arrive. Hopefully we get our bfps but if not then onwards and upwards

TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 15:37

@ChampooPapi Thank you lovey! 🥰

Fingers crossed to all of us here! It’s crazy how upset I get at general social media (and even family) pregnancy announcements, but I’m so genuinely happy to see the BFP’s on this thread and wish BFP’s for all of us as much as my own ❤️🌈

TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 15:38

@Annny27 Yep! Got my Clear Blue static smiley on CD17, so probs ovulated CD18. I’m around 6DPO now, AF due 3rd May 🤞🏻🌈

TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 15:39

Also we’ve done SMEP to a tea this month! And carrying on DTD every 2-3 days for the rest of the month, so giving it our all this month! So much DTD... we’re both shattered 😂

TerribleImagination · 26/04/2020 15:41

@Annny27 I’m so sorry too you had to go through the pregnancy announcement from your cousin. It sucks. I was on video call to my brother the other day, and he turned the camera on my sister in law, who’s about 10 days ahead of what I should have been, and all I could think was ‘please please don’t show your bump’ 😢

ChampooPapi · 26/04/2020 15:46

@GlitterFairy1412 and @Annny27 🥰 you guys are amazing 💜

scrumdiddly123 · 26/04/2020 16:56

@Annny27 that’s rubbish 🙁 fingers crossed the cm you mentioned was implantation! When will you test?
@ChampooPapi you are so supportive, your messages always make me feel better! Hope everything is going well for you.
Thanks @Leok83 I will update on here after my appt tomorrow. Really hoping to get some answers about what has happened with this pregnancy and also moving forward!
Well surprisingly for me AF has arrived today, completely unexpected but then I’ve not been having a normal cycle so I didn’t really have a clue when to expect it. I’m so pleased though as feel as though this means this ordeal must be nearly over. Fingers crossed this cycle is a normal one and I can get back to try straight away! Oh and my tests are sooooo faint now so hoping hcg is nearly at 0 🙏
Sorry to those who’s AF has arrived over this weekend, positive vibes for the next cycle and some new year babies xxx

scrumdiddly123 · 26/04/2020 17:02

I say straight away, I’m going to see how tomorrow pans out and what they advise and then will go from there!

ChampooPapi · 26/04/2020 17:23

@scrumdiddly123 that's means so much coming from you. After everything you've been through honestly you are the one who's an inspiration, you have been so brave as well as always so compassionate to everyone, even when you have been going through such turmoils. Let's say 'F you' to April, and thank God your tests are pretty much negative. You have got this 💪 💜
