Omg! 8 years ttc and bfp!!

Ladies i just need to tell someone, anyone, everyone! I have been ttc for 8 years... i gave up last year and myself and partner split.

I have been casually dating a friend of mine and we had intercourse for the first time 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I woke at 1am to use the loo and thought i cant remember when my period is due..i looked on my ovia app...said 2 days overdue. Scrambled fir a test as i was busting..

I just had THE STRONGEST BFP EVER!!!! Im so nervous, excited, happy , confused , you wouldn't believe. I havent even told him as hes 150 miles away sleeping.

I guess the reason i posted on here was to give someone hope. Ive wanted to see these two lines for so so long.... yet at a time i wasn't trying, when i least expected it, its happenned.

So dont ever give up hope. Im not sure how this will work out for me with him but at 36, im blessed and this baby will be worshipped

Was your ex tested during the 8 years ttc? Your post suggests the problem might have been with him not you.

He was indeed tested, all perfectly normal amount, motility etc. All fine. I have a child (20)!! So we did wonder at first, but no, unexplained infertility.
I guess it just wasnt meant to be but somehow this is, none of it makes sense to me right now x

@WhatHappenedThen well, we havent discussed it because we were only starting to date, he knows of the years spent ttc and my heartache though. 6 rounds of clomid, one iui.

I simply cannot believe that one night with s new partner has resulted in a bfp. A part of me feels foolish, a part of me os too blessed to worry.
