Omg! 8 years ttc and bfp!!

Ladies i just need to tell someone, anyone, everyone! I have been ttc for 8 years... i gave up last year and myself and partner split.

I have been casually dating a friend of mine and we had intercourse for the first time 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I woke at 1am to use the loo and thought i cant remember when my period is due..i looked on my ovia app...said 2 days overdue. Scrambled fir a test as i was busting..

I just had THE STRONGEST BFP EVER!!!! Im so nervous, excited, happy , confused , you wouldn't believe. I havent even told him as hes 150 miles away sleeping.

I guess the reason i posted on here was to give someone hope. Ive wanted to see these two lines for so so long.... yet at a time i wasn't trying, when i least expected it, its happenned.

So dont ever give up hope. Im not sure how this will work out for me with him but at 36, im blessed and this baby will be worshipped

Congratulations OP. We have a nearly 9 year age gap between our two. I will always remember DH's face when I stood in the street and told him he was getting a 2nd baby. I'd stood in the shower that morning, looked down and thought "my boobs last looked like that when I was pregnant with DS" so I got a test. It does happen out of the blue like that.
