Never started a bus before.
I’m out for March as just got af and have long cycles.

Will be hoping for a bfp mid April.

Anyone want to hop aboard?

I’m ttc#2 cycle#4

Ds turning 2 this month so hoping to give him a sibling for Christmas 😁

Also just starting to try for baby number 2. DS is 18 months.
I'm ovulating in 2 days... So hoping April for us!
We only had unprotected twice to conceive DS so hoping it's just as quick this time!

OrangeJ · 16/03/2020 19:52

@ApplePie86 have you noticed any changes yet? I know it’s supposed to take a couple of months but I really hope it works. I’ve never had regular periods in my life and I’m so excited for it!

@Hatepickinganame oh I really feel for you. It’s awful. I can’t believe how crazy people are being. I’m so worried about the elderly not being able to get things they need. I work in an office and think they will ask people to work from home by the end of the week. Lots of time for BDing though as my OH works from home too. 😝

@sh84 thank you. Might get some just to see if it works. Ooh not heard of green tea and grapefruit juice being good for it too.

ApplePie86 · 16/03/2020 23:43

@OrangeJ I'm not 100% sure but I think so.

Started taking it in December midway through cycle and got AF 2 weeks later giving me a 46 day cycle.

Next cycle was 45 days. OV'd CD35.

Currently on CD29 and haven't ovulated yet so best case scenario I ovulate in the next week and have another 45 day cycle - that's what I'm hoping anyway.

Before I had anything from 3-6 month cycles.

How are you getting on?

Posharmchairs · 17/03/2020 06:08

Hi girls.

Just catching up. I think I’m due to ovulate in the next 10 days but quite honestly I feel like we personally need to wait.

I’ve got family to look after which I can’t if I need to isolate for months at a time.

If it happens it happens but I’m struggling to see the logic in actively trying.

I wasn’t a well pg person with ds. I do not want to be going in and out of hospital in the next 9 months.

Will keep coming back and cheering you on, and of course see if I do by chance fall pg. would kind of be soda law!

Hope this doesn’t offend, just based on our own situation x

@ApplePie86 I’ve only been taking it for this cycle (about 3 weeks I think) so haven’t seen any changes yet 🤞 I wouldn’t mind too much if they were long, just predictable would be nice 😅

Aw @posharmchairs. Totally understand your decision. Hopefully this will all be over in a few months and you can get to trying again, but you’re right, it will probably happen when you least expect it 😂 stay safe.

I was feeling positive this month as I really thought I ovulated last week due to my temp increasing a bit, but today it’s the lowest it’s ever been so I guess not 😭 OH has a bad back so we are struggling to DTD at the moment 😞

I’m clutching at straws, but does this mean I’ve DEFINITELY can’t have ovulated with the big dip or is there still a chance?

OrangeJ · 17/03/2020 07:20

Femometer still thinks I’ve ovulated 🤷‍♀️

Hatepickinganame · 17/03/2020 07:42

@Posharmchairs of course it doesnt offend, everyone has to do what they think is best at the moment. This is such a crazy time! Ive never seen anything like it, I've worked in food retail for 12 years and you can see the panic in people, its insane. I think after yesterdays announcement shops will be cleared out today. Im working 6 days this week just to try and help us cope. And @OrangeJ i feel the same about the elderly, some of my customers look so frail. But you can't beat British spirit right now, you should hear some of the things they say 🤣 hope youre all ok!

littletandme · 17/03/2020 18:48

Hi ladies. Been quiet this week, we managed to fly out to Lanzarote on Thursday but have been stuck in the villa since Saturday night when all restaurants and bars closed. Weather hasn't been too good either, it hasn't been fun spending over half a week indoors with the in-laws!! Flight home on Thursday still going ahead so far though. To top it all off my OPK is positive today, although we did manage to DTD on Friday night and Sunday morning. Hoping to get another in tonight but paranoid about PIL hearing 😂

How is everyone coping in this current craziness?

MayDay27 · 17/03/2020 19:08

We've decided to put a hold on trying and I I had the non hormonal coil fitted today. Feeling sad because it was our first month TTC and was so excited but I'm 30 so not in an immediate rush and so for us it might be best to wait until this crazy time has passed. Completely understand the people still trying. I've read that fertility doesn't change much until 35 I'm hoping that waiting won't make too much difference to us, I really hope not

Hatepickinganame · 17/03/2020 20:07

@littletandme trying to keep calm and carry on! Hope you manage to get back safely, a friend of mine was in spain over the weekend and kept sharing videos, it was scary to see. I just cant believe how much this is affecting countries, its insane. My daughter was sent home from school today cause she coughed once. Once. Not repeatedly, not even a few times throughout the day.... once. Actual madness. People still cough 😔

@MayDay27 hopefully this will all blow over soon, china is returning to normal now by the sounds of it. It'll peak in a couple of weeks then hopefully follow china and slack off 🤞🤞

littletandme · 18/03/2020 16:14

Thanks @Hatepickinganame, it's a very strange atmosphere over here, we are worried about what we are coming home to as well!

Ovulation definitely happening today, loads of twinges and aches plus EWCM. Gonna see if I can tempt DH to one more go tonight 😂

paintfairy · 18/03/2020 22:44

I'm starting to feel worried by it all. Actually hoping AF arrives end of next week now! Then I will not try next month (wasn't going to anyway) and reassess after that. I cant deal with the craziness! More the lack of food and people than the virus issue.

2020journey · 19/03/2020 20:41

Hi ladies hope you are all ok.

We have toyed with the idea of hanging on until this blows over but decided there will never be the perfect time so we are going to just crack on!! CD11 out of 33 for me. I have ovulation sticks arriving tomorrow (I got the clear blue digital ones) but I don't think I will actually ovulate until next Saturday. I'm wondering if SMEP might be the best option or whether to just go with it. I'm scared and excited all at once.

My parents are due to go to go on a major holiday at the end of June but have discussed postponing it until next year. I haven't told them we are starting to try but my mum would be gutted if she ended up not being in the country when I gave birth 😕

MoonW · 19/03/2020 21:57

So I’ve been doing OPKs since Monday this week when they arrived and all have been negative. I had my implant removed on the 09th March (so 10 days ago) and wasn’t sure if I had already ovulated last week as did have some CM changes, however tonight I’ve just experienced a TON of EWCM so even though the OPK is negative I’m going to treat it as a sign that maybe I am ovulating/about to ovulate?

We’ve been doing the BD every other night starting on the 09th just in case, so fingers crossed this is it and can start counting DPO from round about now? Smile

MoonW · 19/03/2020 22:01

@2020journey I’m sure if they have the holiday booked and then you do find out you are expecting and are due around the time they are away they can look to swap the dates if required Smile

paintfairy · 20/03/2020 07:12

@2020journey Realistically you can't expect your parents to not book their holiday. I can't see them rushing to decide a date right now anyway. But in a year's time you might still be TTC with no progress. There isn't a crystal ball sadly.

Cloudmtb · 20/03/2020 07:28

It’s so hard to know what to do isn’t it! We are so desperate to start trying but I just don’t know what’s best to do. So far they can’t say there is a risk and it’s all precautionary which is great but not definite yet... I also think there’s always risks right? Chicken pox is still about...

MoonW · 20/03/2020 09:52

@Cloudmtb unfortunately I don’t think there is any right answer in this situation, and everyone has to do what they feel is right for themselves. Nobody know what the virus is going to do or how long it is going to last, so it’s very hard to plan your life around it Sad

Hatepickinganame · 21/03/2020 09:43

Hi guys! How is everyone? Hope youre all staying home and safe where possible. Im absolutely shattered, and really hoping the new lockdown puts people off supermarkets unless they need essentials 🙄🙄 in other news, think im ovulating (was convinced the stress would stop it happening!) And we dtd thursday... im going with the what will be, will be approach. You literally never know when your time is up so I'm now thinking i wont put my life on hold cause i might get sick. Trying to stay positive in a very uncertain world! Much love to all x

OrangeJ · 21/03/2020 11:06

I’ve got to go into the office Monday to get a VPN set up on my laptop then working from home for the foreseeable. I can’t help but think of the positives and am looking forward to having some time at home with my DH. I should be worried as we are both self-employed and there’s not going to be much help for us at the moment but it’s really sunny here so looking forward to gardening (I really am only 30 trust me!) and having more time to exercise outside. Also love reading the positive stories about what affect this is having on our planet 🌎✌️ And the village I live in is being amazing. People are really coming together 💚 (not literally, hello and give me my 2 metres thank you 😂).

I’m on CD49 and don’t think I’ve ovulated yet so still waiting. I don’t ever seem to have much going on down there CM wise and watched a YouTube video (anyone ever seen Ingefleur’s videos? They’re really good!) which said it might be due to too much candida so have ordered some probiotics to see if that helps.

Ooooh. @hatepickinganame are you going to DTD tonight? 🤞

@littletandme are you home safe now?

karenkeys · 21/03/2020 11:43

I’ve decided to skip the next 2 cycles due to everything that’s going on right now, but I have being trying this month already and I’m keeping positive that if it has happened this month, things will be ok. Does anyone else feel like this is the one month it will happen now that you’d be happy for it not to for once?

I picked up my work laptop and monitor last week and my workplace is now working remotely for the foreseeable future. My husband already works freelance so we’re both at home most of the time and so I feel we have a bit of safety there.

The only down side is my workplace have said they will need to cut all of our salaries by 20% as of next month, for a short period of time to prevent the business from suffering from months of no income. The business works closely with bars, restaurants and spas which have all been hit hard by the virus. I have good savings though so not too worried for now.

Hope everyone else is trying to keep positive. I’m making the most of extra time with my OH and getting outside for some exercise and fresh air as much as possible.

Keep safe all

Lottieloux · 21/03/2020 12:04

hi ladies, my oh and I are trying to decide whether to pause ttc due to everything as I work for an airline and at the moment it’s not even confirmed if we’re being made redundant or taking 3 months unpaid.
Wish I could work from home but can’t exactly fit an airbus in my garden
Hope you’re all well

Hatepickinganame · 21/03/2020 12:17

@OrangeJ nope, hes been at work since 6 and i start now, we literally dont see each other right now. Dont get me wrong, im incredibly grateful that we both have job security but for the last ten days our lives have been insane. And no one is listening, no one seems to care about social distancing and no one seems to care about the risks. My town in full of people today, all the shops still appear to be open... we'll end up locked down if people dont start staying home 🙄

littletandme · 21/03/2020 12:54

@OrangeJ yes we are home now thank you, landed on Thursday evening. We are now self isolating for a week before going back to work next Friday, luckily for us I think DH is classed as a key worker as he works in adult social care so DD should be able to attend nursery still.

OrangeJ · 21/03/2020 13:45

@Hatepickinganame oooh no. Well hopefully Thursday may well have done it 🤞 oh god that’s really bad. It’s pretty quiet round my way. We live on a reeeeally busy trunk road and can definitely notice the difference.

@littletandme glad you’re back safe, bet that was a surreal trip. My friends partner is a police officer and she’s stressing about the kids being home. Is it just one parent that has to be a keyworker for them to be in school do you know? Did you manage to DTD much while away?
