Hello. I thought I might join this thread. I have had my copper coil removed today, i'm 34 and i'm on day 2 of my cycle and this is going to be my first time TTC. Exciting and scary all at once! I look forward to my journey and getting lots of advice and support from you guys.

Hey ladies!

Had my appointment this morning, the doctor was such a lovely man. Got my scan done too and my ovaries and womb look normal but he reckons I have endometriosis as I have really bad pain and problems with my bowels when AF is here. He also seen on the scan that part of my womb is attached to my bowel so that also makes him think endometriosis. If I want I can have a laparoscopy to fix this but at the minute I'm not going to as the pain is manageable and only when AF is here. He said it doesn't look severe enough to stop me conceiving so another reason why I'm not bothered. I've always thought I had a touch of Endo so I'm not surprised by this.

Anyway, I have to go next week to my GP and get a swab tested for infection before I can get the dye test. He said I should be called for that within 4 months on the NHS so I'm just going to wait for it.

Just looking forward to the next step now!

@Anny27 another nose bleed! I'm feeling really positive about you this month! Are you going to test early 😬

@Lottiepink I'm okay now as long as I stay drugged 😂

@Lottiepink I have never been offered these tests but I wonder if because they know we can get pregnant they are assuming no issues that side? Be interesting to know my levels though!

@FarmerWantsABaby I am the same, I dont like to let my emotions out but when they do come boy do they flood out! I hope you are ok and that tomorrow gives you some answers.

@whatsthecraic91 sorry to hear AF arrived, mine was a witch this month so feel your pain! Glad to hear you got on well today with the Dr, sorry to hear it may be endometriosis but good that everything is moving forward in terms of testing.

@Anny27 thats good willpower you have- I would always try and hold off but would struggle about 11DPO I have everything crossed for you.

Just under a week till my US pelvic scan- feels like I have been waiting a lifetime. DF has to give his SA tomorrow so hopefully we hear the results from that quickly although I dont forsee any issues! A girl that I used to work with announced her pregnancy yesterday, I dont usually have any issues and am happy for people but this one really got to me as she is a heavy smoker and drinker and I know she recreationally uses drugs and it just made me think how unfair everything is 😔sorry for the moan just a tired grump today. Theres been a lot of break ins our way and I had a really unsettled night with DF being away with work.

How many week after ovulation do you start your period? I've heard it's 12dpo and 14dpo but I have no clue x

I started AF this morning.. boo!! But at least I can start trying again for next month!

I would LOVE to know which types of ovulating tracking you all use? What apps or wee sticks do you all have?

@whatsthecraic91 good you are getting some answers! And that your doc was nice. I had a horrible man once before and it has totally put me off hospitals!

@Lozzlepop I feel your pain! 2 ladies in work are pregnant at the moment and I can’t help but look every time I pass them!

I am now 3 days late. In two minds whether or not to test again at weekend if still no sign of AF. Don’t think I can be bothered with another negative.

@firsttimetry I have been using clear blue ovulation sticks x

@firsttimetry sorry to hear AF arrived! I just use IC (internet cheapies) to track OV and use both the Glow and Femometer apps which allow you to input your test results!

@Lmac2018 most people have a 14 day leutal phase but depends how long your cycles are, are you using apps to track?

@Lozzlepop Yeah but I haven't really known when I'm ovukating except from they month when I used opks but the day my app says I'm ovulation I usually come on 11/12 after. But all 3 of my apps say different things... like one says I'm coming on in 2 days, another in 5 days and another in a week

@Lmac2018 keep tracking and updating your apps- the more information you input the more accurate they will become 🙂 use OPKs if you can for the best results!

Evening ladies! 9dpo and very snappy at my DH tonight - I am like that most of time before period anyway haha!

@Lmac2018 my period usually arrives on either 14dpo or 15dpo - but some peoples LP is 10 days and others 16

@lozzlepop yep if I continue to feel symptomy I miiiiight be tempted to test in sunday (13dpo) which is not super early but also not when my period would be late (16dpo)

@whatsthecraic91 that's so good that your doctors appointment went well and that he was nice. Sounds good that your endometriosis isnt affecting your chances which is promissing! When does DPs analysis come back?

Oh no way I hate when people like that announce pregnancies and here's us over here trying to be all healthy and it gets us nowhere!! Oh no that's unsettling! You should have a friend over to stay.

@Lmac2018 depends on how long your LP is? Mine is 12/13days

Yea I feel really good now so just waiting on my HSG now and I'm hoping I won't even need it! It's really put me at ease today! Oh he got them back 2 weeks ago! He has "super sperm" as he calls it 😂 his count is very high so no problems there! Aww your poor DH I'm the same when AF comes 😂

@Cha0907 ahh right, I just wondered as when I came off the pill, my symptoms were so strong I literally thought I was, and my bleed was bad too, that maybe does sound like a cp, but I guess you won't know 😕 that's good going the not being on contraception though! Get to know your body mire, I don't think I would go back on it again!

@whatsthecraic91 aww that's amazing, pleased it went well 😊 sorry to hear you may have endometriosis though. I've often thought that about myself, I don't have any other symptoms but my pains for first 2 days can be very intense including a sharp stab that can literally stop me in my tracks sometimes. And also struggle going to the bathroom when af is here, unless I'm dosed up with painkillers! Do you have other symptoms? Really good they advised to wait for NHS too, means they aren't just trying to get more money etc. Nice to on track for things now tho 😊 I always am very intrigued to get the test done, I'm an odd one with things like that 🤣

@Lozzlepop yeh you are probably right, I'm sure as you can get pregnant it's not as important straight away. I assume the will do them though to check hormone levels etc?

Morning! 10dpo and I am putting the thermometer away now untill either AF arrives or hopefully not if I get a bfp. It stresses me out this time of my cycle - I like to see when I have ovulated but now it wknt make a difference to anything if I continue and it makes me sleep really bad as I am anxious to see if my temp remains high 🤪🤪🤪🤪

@lottiepink I am always tempted haha! Even this morning, if DH hadnt hidden my test I know I would have ripped it open to take. But glad I didnt :p

Morning, @Anny27 I'm doing ok. Resting at home really although I've been going for little walks and doing some yoga at home.

Feeling weak and tired still. Also getting restless from all the staying at home. Need to remind myself that it's not even been a week yet and I'm not ready to throw myself back into the world just yet.

Yes I think too much temp-taking and peeing on a stick is not good for our mental health. I actually am not tracking ovulation with temps or sticks - just going by my Ovia app fertile window but also noticing cervical fluid over the course of the month.

I appreciate this is easy for me to say with regular cycles though...

My period may take 4-6 weeks to arrive after my miscarriage - that's what I've googled anyway. So hubs and I will use contraception until that first proper period so we have a proper starting date.

@Lottiepink the pill made me gain a lot of weight coupled with losing my dad suddenly about 3 stone Altogether 😭 still trying to shift it! Recently joined weightwatchers so hoping that also helps! My periods have always been regular so the pill messing that up was driving me insane! X

@timswifey yes take it easy, a week is not a long time at all and the whole process of loss can be very up and down.

@whatsthecraic91 that's so great that they showed you (the difference to the NHS they wouldn't say anything about mine). Sorry to hear about the endo but it sounds as if they are positive about it all? And great news on the super sperm 💪🏼

@Lozzlepop may be worth asking for the tests as even with my 2 mc they did all the blood work, not sure if that's coz they need to tick all the boxes before IVF referral? It gets me too sometimes when it feels unfair that others get pregnant and here's us seemingly doing everything right.

Got our appointment for our 2nd consultation whereby she will tell us the results for all our testing and get IVF underway. 23rd March which is surprisingly earlier than we anticipated as we thought it would be 3 months.
Currently wfh as been advised to quarantine for 2 days due to a session on Tuesday with a student from a school that has closed down. Somewhat OTT but at least our nhs is preventative rather than reactive!

Hey ladies, getting period like cramps today so defiantly feel like I'm out. Felt sick last night after eating some chicken but I get anxious about chicken and stuff if it's not cooked properly so it was probably my mind playing tricks.

Same test in each photo, looks negative but I feel like I can see a line, can't catch it on camera but I feel like k can see one

@timswifey I miscarried at 11.5 weeks and it took almost 6 weeks for period to return. But I was quite ill so hopefully sooner for you!

Yes it's all preventative which is great as hopefully stops the spread :D
