@Anny27 11 and a half weeks god how awful. Despite it all I do think our bodies are truly amazing. My cycle will return when my body is ready and that's ok.

Hi everyone! So basically I’m in the Early stages of pregnancy. I'm around 5 weeks so it’s like an “egg yolk” that is still to develop so it doesn’t have a heartbeat or anything yet.
A pregnancy I’ve managed to catch very very early. When most people wouldn't even know at this stage 🙈
Have to go back in two weeks to see if there’s any development! Still very very early stages. Nurse thinks I may have had two and lost one which is why bled so much and why the positive line is so strong.
I'm in total shock and still very apprehensive. But ladies.... regardless of it all I managed to convince. And we've been trying over over a year. I hope this gives some of you hope 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Anny27 13DPO is a good time to test as you’ll bet a pretty accurate result either way?!

@whatsthecraic91 yeah i think it should be ok apart from the “drink 2 litres of water before” I feel that’s slightly excessive 😂😂 it’s ok DF was home last night thankfully! It’s super annoying isn’t it? I don’t think she was with her partner that long before and now they’ve split so it was maybe a rash decision 😬

@Lottiepink nope nobody has ever mentioned anything about checking any hormone levels 🤷🏽‍♀️ DF dropped his sample off for his SA earlier- he had to queue to hand it in lol so I asked do they call with the results and he said no he assumes you get told at our next consultant appointment but we don’t have anything booked in 🙈

@timswifey remember to take things at your own pace, I found just sitting out in the fresh air helpful! It took about 6 weeks for mine to come back and the first AF was horrible!

@Kiza I might ask if I need them next time I’m in but I wouldn’t have thought we would qualify for IVF as we can get pregnant? That’s good that things are happening so quickly for you guys!

@Lottiepink yes that's exactly what I'm like too, I also get a really sore back right from top to bottom and extreme tiredness 😴 he said these are also signs 👎🏼 he said the only way for 100% diagnosis is to get an operation but I really don't want that!

@Anny27 well done wish I could do that - I HAVE to see what my temps are doing 😂 Any more symptoms?

@Kiza aww really? Did they not tell you anything when you were being scanned? He told me everything & showed me everything! Our app lasted about 50mins and we got to ask every question we wanted and he was very good. Yea he said the Endo shouldn't be an issue for conceiving so I'm happy about that! Oh great that's not too long to wait then! Do you have any idea how long it will be to start IVF?

@Lozzlepop I didn't drink anything before mine and actually went to the loo when I was waiting to be called and he never said anything about my bladder 😂 glad he's home to keep you company!

@Lozzlepop hahaha it's 1-2 pints not litres!!! Bloody hell you'll be desperate to pee when they put the probe on you! 😂 they then ask you to go pee and then put the internal probe in you- or at least that's the way the NHS did mine.
The 2nd consultant appointment was quick but the 1st one we had to wait 3 months for. And then another 3 months for all the tests so about 6-7 months in total.

@whatsthecraic91 no as it was nhs and she said she's not a doctor so she's only allowed to take the photos of the scans and then our consultant will discuss it with us. We forgot to ask that question about wait times for IVF, think we were a little blindsided about her mentioning it but then I forget I'm nearly 40 so am 'pushing on' in their eyes 😀

@FarmerWantsABaby congratulations again, are you feeling a bit more settled and relieved now?

@kiza ah right I see! Hopefully the wait isn't too long! The doctor we seen mentioned IUI I had never heard of it until yesterday and he said it would be a good option for us if I get the HSG and I'm still not pregnant in a few months. Did you consider this option or is not everyone eligible for it?

@whatsthecraic91 had some spotting this afternoon so think it will be back to square 1 again 😖

@FarmerWantsABaby amazing, congratulations!

@Lozzlepop you would probably have to get a doctors app to request the bloods I think? With the sa, they will go back to your dr surgery, just leave it a few days and ring up for the results (I'm inpatient 🤣) but I left it 2 days but they were actually back with our dr the same day!

@whatsthecraic91 it's agony isn't it, I don't really get the bad back part, but the tiredness I do, be interesting to see what my tv scan shows if they do it! No I get you, sounds like you don't need it either at the moment which is great news!

@Kiza ahahaha what an idiot- I meant pints!! I usually am and I have never drank that much before, theres one of the women at the other hospital and when she scans you I do feel like I might pee myself! Oh god there was no mention of a TV scan too 😆Yeah I guess its still a long wait I feel we have been waiting forever as we got pregnant again so its technically been since August 🙈

@Lottiepink ok I will see if I can get him to do that as not sure next time we will have a "consultant appointment" so to speak as its only me booked in for testing and thats still another 6 weeks away so dont want to wait all that time. You would have thought the fertility nurse would have requested those bloods at the start 😂🙈

@Anny27 how are you feeling? Anymore nose bleeds?

@FarmerWantsABaby great to get an update on yourself and little bean. I'm absurdly proud of all our threads graduates.

As for me, still getting bfns and no AF. I swear I'm usually such a calm and logical person but this cycle I'm tempted to shout like a crazy person "I just want to be pregnant right now!"

@Kiza I would t say relieved just yet. I nearly feel more anxious now as I know there's the start of a baby there but it's still just a yolk sac. The fact I have to go back in two weeks is nerve wracking! Every tiny cramp or feeling in my tummy and I'm shitting myself 😩 praying for a heartbeat in two weeks. My mum keeps reminding me that most people don't even know they're pregnant at this stage at to chill out! I'm avoiding EVERYTHING to be as careful as possible; coffee, eggs, CrossFit, running etc 🙈

I am not sure what to think, I had a line last night and then did another this morning and there was a line but not as strong. Its definitley pink and within the time limit so guess we will see how it progresses. Its definitley not a bfp yet

Ooh @Anny27 when do you think you'll test again?

Had another scan and there is still tissue in there 😢😢😢 so there’s more to come. Need to have another scan next week. Feel gutted about this as the pain and bleeding have subsided so ... I guess I've got more of that coming up? I thought it was all over.

Ohhhh @Anny27 I can see a line 👀 I'd go again tomorrow morning to get sure. What's your DPO?
I'm very sick today again. Hoping it's a good sign.

@timswifey unfortunately mc can be quite long and complicated sometimes. I ended up having to have the operation as my body wouldn't fully release everything, it added to the grief and longevity. All you can do right now lovely is take each day as it comes, try to do things that are kind and loving to yourself xx

@FarmerWantsABaby I can understand your hesitancy, if only we could be those women who jump up and down with ecstasy at a BFP and never have a worried thought.

@whatsthecraic91 I think sometimes they offer IUI to some couples as it's less invasive but not sure why we weren't offered it.

Having a break from painting our bedroom, more work than I thought it would be 😂 have the feature wall still to do but it will have to be done tomorrow or I'll be here all night 🙄😐

Thanks girls! Will update you with tomorrow mornings test. I am absolutely boiling tonight which happened last pregnancy so I am pretty sure I am pregnant and I soooo hoping that it's a sticky bean 😬🤞

Period came during the night. Really thick and gloopy too. Not sure if that means anything. So frustrated that it hasn't happened yet.

I've heard some people use acupuncture for fertility. Anyone know what time in the cycle they do this? Will also be pushing myself to make a doctors appointment sometime in the next couple of weeks to beg for some tests to see if there's anything that's stopping me conceiving.
