So GP appointment went okay! I'm having day 21 bloods and then the 7 day bloods after that. She said if my 7 day FSH bloods come back abnormal she will refer me early to the fertility clinic we have here. I was worrying about her knowing when I had my implant out and she had no idea! I should have lied and said it was 12 months ago... never mind! I'm just so thankful I'm having any sort of test done after only 7 cycles. She said that my luteal phase was abnormal or more that I am ovulating too late in my cycle. And that she also thinks there is a slight 'concern' that my periods are a lot shorter and lighter than they used to be.

@Beau20 glad it went ok and you're having some tests done x fingers crossed it will provide you with some answers x

Just realized I'm having bloods on day 7 when I've read it should be 2-4?

I can't remember who also asked about their day 21 bloods but the GP said to me it needs to be over 30

@Beau2020x it was me? Mine were 27.8. I'm talking to my doctor tomorrow. So glad it went well and she's taking you seriously!! Yayyy❤️💐

@Missgoldilocks wooo happy days! A bit shit I've got to wait a whole month for any results but hopefully will be worth it all x

Oh I forgot to add, I also have to have a chlamydia test? I mean fine but I've had the same partner for over 6 years and I've been twice since then haha.

@Beau2020x haha! Maybe they have to rule out damage done by that disease as to why your luteal phase is short? Who knows!! A whole month though? Oh is that because you need to do bloods through out the month? I'm just impatiently waiting on sperm results now 😬

@Missgoldilocks yeah I annoyingly just missed out on the 2-4 day test so next one in 2 weeks is the day 21 and then just under 2 weeks later I have the 2-4, on day 7 which is weird but I'm going to ring and change it.

Oooh you'll have to let us know how you get on. My OH would neverrrrr do a SA haha

@Beau2020x haha my sister was shocked as well, she's been trying 2 years and been checked but her hubby refused. Well I'd go mental lol besides luckily my partner used to work in a lab and is a bit of a scientist, so for him it's an experiment

@Beau2020x after the initial shock that is 😂 he was like no in the beginning but that was when I asked him to go private haha

@Missgoldilocks oh I'd lose my shit! Majority men won't even go to the GP even if they are dying and refuse to accept if anything is wrong with them. I'd be taking the sperm sample myself! I once had thrush and OH refused to take the canesten tablet so I had to empty the capsule out into his coffee one morning on the sly hahaah ohhh the shame.

@Beau20 glad you had a good discussion with the GP. I always worry that they’ll not take things seriously. It’s interesting that they said your luteal phase is abnormal as I think I have a similar issue... 10 day luteal with AF on 11th day... last month I also ovulated late, think it was CD17 or 18. Did they give any indication as to why that might be happening? Xx 🌹

@Missgoldilocks sometimes I wonder if I am with a 30 year old or a child...

@Snowwhite2020 She said it's likely a hormone imbalance and that the bloods will hopefully give some answers. Basically all the hormones aren't in sync and some may be working more then others or some not working properly causing others to not work properly. She said it could also be a thyroid issue and apparently that's very common to throw hormones out of whack. But I'm glad she 100% agreed I'm ovulating far too late in my cycle.

@Beau20 thanks so much for sharing. I am down to get an ultra sound in a few weeks to check for PCOS and will get bloods as part of that. Hopefully we will both get to the bottom of this... ❤️ Xx

@Snowwhite2020 fingers crossed! I'm on a short LP group and while some have really positive stories about still conceiving, there are a small select very depressing few (one in particular) who has been trying for 21 months, tests scans nothing provided any answers. She said she's totally screwed and nothing will change (not helpful). Hopefully we AREN'T one of those!

Well ladies, I have proceeded to delete all my apps - apart from Flo just so I can monitor when my periods are due. I don't ever log anything else in it. I have also burnt...yep I have burnt my OPKs so no more pissing on fucking sticks every bloody day. It's highly unlikely going to help, I had a little cry because I think not knowing when I ovulate will probably bring on more stress than doing opks but hey I've got to change something x I'm feeling very low and angry today - hence why I burnt them lol x

Where the fuck is the stupid sperm going 😂😂😂 ffs someone enlighten me!! I talk to his balls I'm like RIGHT you need to make me smart sperm!!!! They are going the WRONG FUCKING WAY!!!!!!!

I posted this in another thread I'm in lol thought it would give you guys a chuckle. This is the frustration I feel when I know af is coming!

@Beau2020x yes indeed, I think a lot of us ladies feel like that! Lol
Really hope you get some answers and some good ones! I'm also afraid that everything will seem fine but it just won't happen, I've heard of this happening especially with a new partner which is crazy.

@katie1109 I'm sorry you feel like this 🙏🤗 it's sooooo crap there's nothing I can say to make you feel better.. Perhaps next month use opks but get rid of the pregnancy tests? I think they are more stressful than anything else x

@Beau2020x glad the doctor listened and you are getting tests done. I am also down for my 21 day bloods on the 19th and had to go for a chlamydia test too. I have also been with my partner 11 years so unless he has cheated on me! Perhaps we will get our results at the same time. Hoping mine is over 30 x

Wow, I have had a DAY of it today... I've just been a big ball of rage 😂
First thing, trying to get through the barriers at the train station and as I put my card on the reader, some NUMPTY behind me puts her paper ticket into the same barrier?! And then she did it again!! I just don't understand why, she was BEHIND me she needed to wait her turn, eurgh.
Then later on, catching another train elsewhere, go to buy my ticket and the machine charges me FOUR times!
On the way back, full up my water bottle but the lid didn't catch so now I'm carrying a litre of water in my rucksack.
The train back was delayed, finally get to the station and all the trains to my joke town are cancelled.
Go and speak to customer services, as I have a wait on my hands, think oh, might be able to sort my refund. No, you have to go to the ticket office. Go to the ticket office instead, they say no, you have to go to customer services GRRRRRRR
Call my bank instead, the department I need closed at 6pm... Would have been back on time to call them if the train I inadvertently paid 104 quid for wasn't delayed 😂😂
Honestly, if I didn't laugh I would cry! But no AF still, since the pink when wiping yesterday!

@Missgoldilocks my doctor wanted them above 25 to show ovulation but dont know. Hopefully it will be ok and that 2.2 wont make any difference.

@Katie1109 I'm so sorry you are feeling like this. We all go through it. I have been so up and down on this journey. When you want something so bad it is so frustrating when it wont just happen! I find the OPK dont stress me out whereas the tests do. I get really down with a negative. Maybe take some time then use OPKs again if you feel stressed without them. Sending big hugs to you.

@katie1109 ahh lovely, it's awful! I know the feeling. I said this month i wasn't going to track a thing and here I'm am loading myself with new vitamins and now temping. Will power = 0

@missgoldilocks hahahahhaaaaa OMG that is amazing!!!! I have to admit I was once blowing on OHs balls to cool them down and wafting the duvet because they were so warm under there and we all know what can happen to hot balls! I also told him to never wang again until we are pregnant and not to waste a single sperm 😂😂 mentaaallllll
