@LRHR I'll test on a cheapie with FMU tomorrow and will hold off using a FRER until mid week if AF still hasn't shown her face.

Donnat89 · 22/03/2020 18:15

I've got 2 FRER Upstairs and cheapies to if AF doesn't arrive tomorrow will test using both with FMU .

Yes this is true You just never know really will see what tomorrow brings xx

@Donnat89 @Juno231
Fingers crossed for you both ❤️❤️❤️

Juno231 · 23/03/2020 07:54

No AF and still BFN 🤷‍♀️.
Had the tiniest, tiny bit of spotting last night which made me think this was it but then nothing. Perhaps I never did ovulate this month! 😂

Donnat89 · 23/03/2020 08:04

@Juno231 same here did IC and FRER and both BFN . So obviously didn't ovulate when I think I did of at all and my cycles has decided to change again 😫😫 will see if she appears today but no sign yet ! X

OP posts:
LRHR · 23/03/2020 09:16

@Donnat89 @Juno231 it's not over yet. I had the little bit of spotting and pink discharge and then 2 days later tested positive xxx

Donnat89 · 23/03/2020 10:21

@LRHR exactly just got to wait and see now will test again in a couple of days if still no AF . My cycles have been 27 days for last 4 months but before that it wasn't unusual for me to be a day or 2 late . Although I'm almost. Certain i ovulated on time . Have to wait and see x

@Donnat89 @Juno231 keep us updated ladies. I’m not due AF until Monday. Longest wait ever. Especially now I’m in the house all day every day! Hope you’re all keeping safe & well!

Donnat89 · 23/03/2020 15:42

@Littlepeas2 will do still no sign of AF which is nothing but frustrating after BFN this morning so obviously not pregnant . Just wish AF would show ! I want it over and
Done with !

Juno231 · 23/03/2020 15:48

@Donnat89 you still never know! read soooo many stories now of people that only got BFPs 5 days late or whatever.

But yeah haha maybe let's not get our hopes up!

@Littlepeas2 promise to keep you updated. Still no AF here either!

Donnat89 · 23/03/2020 15:51

@Juno231 yes of course I know people this has happened too but don't want
Too get too
Excited just in case , will see if AF shows in the next 2 days if she doesn't will re test then . Xx

OP posts:
LRHR · 23/03/2020 16:02

@Juno231 @Donnat89
Definitely nothing to say you aren't gonna get a BFP.
You might just not be producing enough HCG yet xxx

PLEASE HELP ME TO UNDERSTAND

I had my progesterone test on cd23 (21 was Saturday so could not)
My period arrived the day after as my cycles are regular but short:24 days.
According to my ovulation tests I ovulated on the cd10.

My progesterone level was only 2 and doctor told me on the phone today that I didn't ovulate. But when I did some research it seems that the progesterone levels start dropping 7 days before period (that's why test on the CD 21 assuming that you have 28 days cycles). If I ovilulated slightly earlier than avarage (3 or 4 days earlier) and then I had my test 2 days late that puts me almost a week after the progesterone peak, right? So it is not certain that I didn't ovulate. Am I correct?
Does anyone know?
Thank you so much xxxx
My gp can't run another test until that corona thing is over.
But i still want to TTC 😭❤️

LexieBB · 23/03/2020 18:25

@Adrianoska I can’t answer that question, but my last cycle I conceived, I used Proov progesterone test strips to check whether I ovulated. They’re pricey but helpful IMO. You can get them on amazon. And there’s a support group on Facebook that the creator is a part of and interacts with users frequently to help with questions.

Best ❤️

Juno231 · 23/03/2020 18:27

@Adrianoska For what it's worth I completely agree with you. Just read that day 21 tests only make sense if you ovulate around day 14 and that the doctor should have confirmed your cycle with you first.

I say carry on DTD until you can get another test done - probably on CD 17? As it's meant to be halfway trough your luteal phase.

Are you using bbt as well btw?

Littlepeas2 · 23/03/2020 19:17

@Donnat89 are you sometimes late? Or usually bang on? It’s so hard to not get your hopes up isn’t it. I feel so hopeful for you and @juno231 !! I literally have no symptoms of anything. Neither pregnancy or period 😂

@Adrianoska I’m so sorry I haven’t any advice there as I don’t understand cycles properly myself! But I agree with @juno231 there’s no harm in still trying whilst you wait for another test! X

Donnat89 · 23/03/2020 19:21

@Littlepeas2 last four months no bang on 27 day cycles but before wasn't unusual to be a day or 2 late so I'm not getting my hopes up although I'm almost certain I ovulated on time so can't I'd understand why AF is late but she is and I'm guessing my cycles have changed again . If no AF in 2 days will test again as I'm never more than 2 days late .

@Adrianoska I can't really advise but agree with Juno keep trying until you can get another test done !

Bit worried as I've not had this before ,
So AF was due today and no sign of her and BFN on tests still got back ache but no cramping unless I put pressure on my right side of my abdomen then it seems to hurt ? Do I need to get this checked ? It doesn't hurt unless I apply Pressure to it and goes away when pressure is off it xxx

OP posts:
Adrianoska · 23/03/2020 19:21

@Juno231 bbt? Bbw? What's that?

Thank you girls. I will carry on bd. And according to my amazon cheap ovulation tests I did have a surge every month exactly on the day 10...
Hmmm

I might invest in proov

Xxx❤️

Juno231 · 23/03/2020 19:30

@Adrianoska basal body thermometer - was thinking it might be useful to start tracking that in case you're getting false positives with your LH surges

LRHR · 24/03/2020 06:42

@Adrianoska I didn't use any ovulation strips only guess work really with an app but I've read up that you need to be having sex 3 times a week every week to give you the best chance of conceiving.
I always thought you make them wait until you ovulate so there is plenty of sperm but apparently not the case at all it's actually worse, you need to keep everything flowing.
Maybe try this method and see how you go on xxx

Juno231 · 24/03/2020 07:59

Still nothing on this end! No AF, no BFP.
Getting more and more worried that I just didn't ovulate this month and it's perimenopause kicking - but you how anxious I get about that!

Donnat89 · 24/03/2020 08:24

@Juno231 same here still no sign of AF and BFN on IC . Maybe AF will come today ? I'm
So confused 😐

OP posts:
LRHR · 24/03/2020 08:44

@Donnat89 @Juno231 I know it's so stressful but it's not over yet. You may have ovulated later than you thought and implantation hasn't or is only just happening so you aren't getting BFPs just yet.

I'm really really keeping everything crossed for you both and everyone else still waiting xxx

Donnat89 · 24/03/2020 09:22

@LRHR thanks hun yes you are right just got to wait and see , no matter how frustrating it is it's the only option and no point getting too stressed over it . I think it's the not knowing that's worse xx

OP posts:
Littlepeas2 · 24/03/2020 10:16

Thinking of both of you. This whole TTC is such a stressful journey. I hope you both get your answers today
