Anyone testing beginning of Feb?

Hello! I am new to this forum & wanted to chat to anyone testing around the same time as me at the beginning of Feb!
Going off the app I use I am about to ovulate so will be DTD lots over the next week!
I have been TTC for around 5/6 months now but haven't discussed with friends or family so hoping to feel better by discussing with people in the same situation

@babybumpfor2020 I didn't get a clear test until 2 days after AF was due last time, early response rests don't work for all women. I'm 9dpo and I'm not testing until next Sunday.

@uisage I think it’s important people know that because I very much felt it was negative because the early response test said so 2 days ago and everyone was getting positives way before me!

10dpo feel awful - lots of cramping as if AF on her way. Feel quite sick this afternoon although could be from too many crisps and dip 😂 Due Tuesday. Took test today and bfn. Didn’t get first positive with 1st until 12dpo though xx

Hey everyone currently 4 days late not sure when i ovulated as I had a miscarriage late dec and stopped bleeding 4/01 . Still getting bfn and it’s really annoying as I feel so pregnant . I wish I would come on my period or just get a positive just so I know we’re I stand . So jel of all you. Who get BFP so early this will be 3rd baby and I don’t get BFP till I’m like 4+ week 😩 congrats on your positives tho xxx

My period has arrived two days early! which is really unusual for me. Those who are out, are we going to continue this thread? Or start a new one with a more apt name?

I decided to order some pre-seed. Last time I got pregnant the first time I used it so I actually don’t know if it really works or if it was just my time, but it was one of those early morning panic purchases I often do while I’m chugging my first tea of the day.

I'm due today but had no signs.. felt abit sick on Friday and now I'm suffering with a blocked nose but not sure if it's because partner has fan on in bedroom 🙈 dont know when to test? Maybe hold out a couple more days I think x

@KittyWindbag Preseed is definitely the way to go! I used it when I got pregnant with my son and with this one, and both hit first time!

Sorry to hear it wasn’t your cycle this month ladies. I’m trying to keep myself occupied so I don’t start obsessing! AF not due until around 11th which feels like a lifetime away!

Sorry to join late, my AF was due today, I wasn’t going to test as i lost hope really. I had a miscarriage in September. I did a cheap test today and i have a strong positive - not sure it can be right so early? Maybe it’s wrong as it was laying around in the cupboard since September?

@KittyWindbag and @paintfairy I'm really sorry, here's hoping the preseed does the trick next month.

@EarlyBird123 I don't think pregnancy tests expire or give false positives. It coild be a chemical but it's looking good!

I am testing in a week... seems like a lifetime. My heartrate is still going up, I think it usually starts dropping 4 days before I'm due.

I still haven't had a sign from AF gave in and done a test at lunchtime but was neg.. Now have sore nipples and watery cm again 🤔 don't know what's going on?! It's driving me mad x I'm cd29 now but think I only ovululated cd20 by ovia app

Also going to order some preseed & maybe start tracking my BBT for the next cycle? Anyone got any experience with this?

@CocoW I used Natural Cycles to track my BBT with my son and, along with the preseed, it was great. You can pinpoint when you ovulate and I could also see that I was pregnant before I even took my temperature because my temp didn't come down.

I think you can use lots of different apps, but I found Natural Cycles really easy to use. There is a cost, but I think you can cancel anytime - they do also send you a thermometer if you sign up for the year. If you don't though, do make sure the thermometer is a to 2 decimal places otherwise it's not accurate

Tried to test early this morning with a pregnancy strip (they were only £1 so thought it was worth it!) but the container I used was NOT watertight...

So giving in and testing early has not gone to plan!

@ZsaZsaMc You gained valuable experience though! I think I used the screw top of a milk bottle last time.

I'm out this month, AF arrived 2 days early. @KittyWindbag we seem to be linked! I really thought I was pregnant, so disappointed. To add insult to injury, I was wearing white knickers.

Sorry to hear that @uisage - I don’t know if it’s more annoying that it’s early too or slightly better as it’s not another two days of waiting!

@Bl0ndeye what time of the day are you testing? I had lots of negatives with my DC and only a bfp once I tested in the morning / switched to a pricier test - or it could have just been that it was further down the line.

What a shame we didn’t get nearly enough positives on this thread. I’ve just finished with AF and according to Flo my fertile week begins tomorrow so I’m back in the saddle for a week (sorry).

Anyone else gearing up for the next month?

I got a call from customs about my order of pre-seed. There was a problem with my details so I had to have a really nice chat concerning my order of ‘personal lubricant’ with a nice young man in a foreign language.

I never had this problem when I ordered it before, it was available in-country at that time.
