Hello! I am new to this forum & wanted to chat to anyone testing around the same time as me at the beginning of Feb!
Going off the app I use I am about to ovulate so will be DTD lots over the next week!
I have been TTC for around 5/6 months now but haven't discussed with friends or family so hoping to feel better by discussing with people in the same situation

According to my app I’m in my fertile week as of yesterday.
@Nat4392 hope your TWW passes quickly and the UTI clears up quickly

KittyWindbag · 28/01/2020 03:31

Hi everyone.

I’m about nine days past ovulation I think and I can’t help but start to look for signs. It was about 10dpo I got a positive with my last pregnancy and I promised myself I wouldn’t test until I had a missed period this time. That’s still my intention but every time I go to the loo I’m wiping and looking for spotting (in a normal non TTC cycle I get a few days of dark brown spotting about a week before period starts), wondering if my boobs ache because it’s ‘A SIGN’ or if it’s actually because my toddler just kicked me in the boob... sigh.

paintfairy · 28/01/2020 07:13

I'm 11dpo today. Yesterday I had cramping followed by spotting. I usually do spot anyway so it's hard for me to know the difference. I never usually cramp though. I'm trying to avoid testing also.

CocoW · 28/01/2020 07:18

@KittyWindbag I am 9DPO today & fighting the urge to test so bad.
I have FRER ordered which should arrive tomorrow or Thursday & I know by then I will definitely end up testing.
I told myself I would wait until missed AF this month but I just can't help myself if they are in the house🤦🏼‍♀️

I am at the stage now if I get any twinges or aches I am googling to see if its a symptom.. pretty sure I am just imagining half of them out of hope & desperation!

@paintfairy yes I spot usually too, but I remember wi Th my first son I had an implantation bleed which was light pink and almost barely there which was very different to my usual brown spotting.

@CocoW I haven’t allowed myself to buy any tests yet, even internet cheapies as I know I’ll be crappy at resisting them and waste them all testing too early.

If I don’t get any of my usual pre-period symptoms in the next few days I might test a little early.

paintfairy · 28/01/2020 09:40

My spotting can be any colour is the problem! Varies. Can also flick between each. Literally never know what you are going to get! Its red right now.

Kaylab2489 · 28/01/2020 09:45

I'm due on the 1st had some cramping but that's it. So not really sure 🤔 just want to have a little bubba 😔x

pinkdressinggown · 28/01/2020 09:52

I'm 7 dpo and have been poas for the last 4 days - so ridiculous as logically I know it's pretty much impossible to be a bfp at this stage anyway! Why dies time go so slowly during the TWW??

uisage · 28/01/2020 11:18

I am 4dpo and am very impatient! I've been having a few cramps, but it could just be wind, who knows? I go on holiday on Sunday and am pointedly leaving the pregnancy tests behind, I am back on the 9th which is 2 days after AF is due.

Last time I tested 5 days before I was due, got a negative, got upset and then had DS anyway! And that was with an early response test.

CocoW · 29/01/2020 06:20

10DPO today & POAS using a FRER & BFN which is what I expected & I know we are never out until AF actually arrives but can't help feel disheartened already!
Won't test again now until Saturday ideally as got a busy few days in work next couple of days so hopefully keep me distracted!

Hows everyone getting on with TWW?

@CocoW hope you can stay away from the sticks until you're ready!

9dpo here and have a small stitch-like feeling way down low in my pelvis (it's possibly a bit too low though) so feeling hopeful, but trying not too be too hopeful! AF due tuesday, no testing for me as she's always so regular. Have a stinker of a cold though, worst I've had in a long time.

paintfairy · 29/01/2020 07:24

My BBT is low for the 2nd day. So I think I'm out too. Can't help but feel disappointed!

uisage · 29/01/2020 07:28

@CocoW Hopefully work is enough to keep you distracted, symptom spotting is driving me mad. We're really quiet at work ATM and I've still got 9 days to go. Did my first 'early signs of pregnancy google' yesterday.

@Supper16 Hopefully your cold goes away soon! There is some nasty stuff going about at the moment.

CocoW · 29/01/2020 07:37

Thanks @uisage @paintfairy ..doubt I'll be distracted enough but got to hope.

My AF is always bang on time so at least by Monday I will know either way.

Anyone else find it super hard at night. I can't sleep thinking about testing when I wake up. This is my 6th month of TTC & can't imagine how I can keep trying with all this disappointment😔

OP posts:
paintfairy · 29/01/2020 07:42

Yep. I've not been sleeping because I'm eager to bbt test. But I can't continue like this. I'll do it again next month, just to make sure I'm right with ovulation timing. Then we are having a break because I don't want a December baby. Lol. But after that I'm starting afresh and not obsessing over it. Because I'm shattered!

CocoW · 29/01/2020 07:53

@paintfairy I think I will be the same after next month. I really need to work out if I am monitoring my ovulation correctly as I'm pretty much relying on numerous apps at the moment.
Im having symptoms the last couple of days that are giving me a slight glimmer of hope but also think I may be making them up😂

OP posts:
paintfairy · 29/01/2020 08:02

@CocoW I think I am. I spot when I ovulate and the bbt matched the opks. It was 2 days earlier than the apps predicted though. I know I didn't miss it as we were already dtd, so it's frustrating. I'm using 5 apps. Which is absolutely bonkers....

loulou252419 · 29/01/2020 08:17

Hi ladies wondered if I can jump into your thread before I drive myself insane on my own! AF due Friday (only 2 more days!!) but because I couldn’t resist I tested with FRER on Monday after work and was shocked to see a faint BFP (not even a real squinted as DP saw it too)! Did another FRER Tuesday morning and BFN so agreed to wait until Friday obviously that didn’t happen and last night got a BFN on a clear blue so now I’m up the wall and know the best thing to do is wait but I now can’t think of anything else!!

Supper16 · 29/01/2020 08:42

@loulou252419 From what I have learnt from these boards, late in the day urine is stronger than FMU - potentially the reason for your morning negatives and evening positives. Equally, clear blues are not very sensitive.

So a positive on a FRER is good news, but yes you do need to wait till AF is late/doesn't come, and then test, to be sure. Fingers crossed for you!

KittyWindbag · 29/01/2020 08:52

I had a faint pink discharge this morning when I went to the loo which is making me get my hopes up as it resembles what I had in my first pregnancy at 10dpo. I have no tests in the house but I’ve ordered some. I’m so worried about getting my hopes up. I’m sorry you feel disheartened @CocoW. I know the feeling!

KittyWindbag · 29/01/2020 08:53

@loulou252419 oh god, that would bend my head!!

loulou252419 · 29/01/2020 09:34

I wish I had just waited! serves me right for being so impatient!! Just got to stay positive and keep busy!!

uisage · 29/01/2020 14:47

@loulou252419 A negative test doesn't mean anything until AF is due! The fact that you have a BFP is hopeful. Like you say, stay busy.

I seem to be peeing all the time, which is the first symptom that I had last time! I hate this waiting game, it does bad things to you.

hanelizabeth · 29/01/2020 15:22

My AF is due 8th February, fingers crossed that doesn't appear and I get a BFP!

Good luck ladies 🤞

CocoW · 30/01/2020 11:12

Hey ladies! I need your line eyes!
Did a Clear blue test this morning, it was once i got to work & not my first wee of the day
I am not due AF until Monday but I will most likely POAS everyday now as I just can't help it.
This time I have got a faint blue line but its really thin. I know this may be ridiculous question but would that make a difference in if its correct or not?
It didn't come up until around 5 mins & was so faint I am worried it may be an evaporation line that I have read about.
Please someone help calm me down & settle my mind😫😔🤯😖

I know the answer is to just wait & test again tomorrow morning but any advice in how to stay calm until the would be appreciated

Anyone testing beginning of Feb?
