Hoping someone might offer some advice to me. I just can’t help thinking something is wrong. My period lasted 2 days this month a heavy day and next day really light and then nothing. I’ve had a c-section with my son and then a d and c after my miscarriage and I just can’t help thinking something is now wrong. My periods before my miscarriage were like clockwork 28 day cycle and lasted 5 days now since then took 3 months for them to return and have ranged from 20 day cycle to 30 days. Last couple of months have settled down to 30 days and now this month 27 days. Been to the doctors a couple of times to be told it just takes time sometimes after miscarriage. Going to go back after next cycle and just say that I would like to be checked out as I can’t go on thinking something must be wrong all the time. Anyone been to doctors and know what to say for them to actually listen to you and do something even though it’s not quite been a year but near enough. Also do they tend to help when it is a second child? X

@Ellsbells112 we've been trying since May, however I didn't get a confirmed ovulation until June. This cycle I got my peak on the evening of CD12 so realistically ovulated on 13. We DTD on 10 and 12. I wasn't expecting to ovulate until around 15 so we didn't start any earlier than 10. Had planned to go again on 13 but number 1 was ill so that scuppered everything.

Key difference for me this month was adding in pregnacare and a high strength vit B complex. Couple that with using the clearblue digital ovulation, paying attention to EWCM (which is why I tested again in the evening), using pre-seed and lying with my legs in the air for 10 mins we pretty much did everything we could!

@Mumofboys17 ah.... yes you have a different one!! I found on amazon that the connected digital kit worked out cheaper per stick than the other one.

Should also say that CD are pretty good with their customer service. I had an issue with the app and they had to send me a new holder (and another 25 sticks even though I'd used most of them) they also sent me pregnancy tests as an apology. So it might be worth contacting them?

You're probably right about treating it as af. I have now filled a tampon in 3 hours, blood is very much pink and watery and quite a lot of it - which at this point I will take as a good sign, because my previous periods were very light and I was worried that may affect my ability to implant.
I have ordered new course of folic acid and added evening primrose to it - when am I meant to take evening primrose? up until ovulation?

@katie1109 I'm glad you have some closure lovely x I;ve started evening primrose too, taking all the way up to ovulation also.

Eurgghhh girls, newly wed SIL and BIL are visiting this weekend. She told me they were trying for a baby straight away so I'm guessing they are visiting to tell us they are pregnant. We usually only seem them Easter, August and Christmas so this is a surprise early visit. I can only think one thing... Annoyingly (and she's a bit of the jealous competitive type) she told me they were going to wait a year or 2 after getting married. As soon as I told her that we were maybe going to start thinking about it soon, she changed her mind and was stopping her pill as soon as they were married. This is one thing that will kill me inside

@Mumofboys17 yeah, she wants to do both, 21 day bloods and sperm anyalsis. I told her my history and we know I'm ovulating, there could be possible scarring in my womb/tubes. She said that they need to rule out low progesterone and my OH sperm first before going further but I'm really happy the ball is rolling!!! I go for my 21 day bloods on 2nd march which I know will be fine and my OH is gonna sign up to the docs this week and get a sperm anyalsis done yayyyyyyyy

@Ellsbells112 Oh how lovely! Sounds like the doc took you seriously at least 😊 hopefully this will give you some answers if you don't manage to get a BFP before hand! Xxx

@Katie1109 friendly word of warning, the evening primrose tablets are bloody massive, I choked on them twice before giving up 😂😂 might just be me that had this problem btw hahaha xx

@Beau2020x oh hun I've been there!! My SIL got pregnant 'by accident' when we'd been trying and failing already for about a year. I was LIVID!! I think it's ok to feel a bit down and jealous, we are but human! But don't let it consume you. Try and think of the positives. My DC and his cousin are now inseparable and I'm actually so thankful they now have each other 😂 life is funny like that isn't it! Xx

@Mumofboys17 honestly I can't wait for them to have a baby, it would be my first niece/nephew but I would be fucking fuming the reason being she only decided she wanted a baby now because I did haha. They live a looonnng way away which is sad because we'd never really see their baby/our kids won't play often.

@Beau2020x oh dear, I can fully understand you x we're always happy for our close ones when they get pregnant, but on the back of our minds we scream WHY THE HELL IT ISN'T ME! x be kind to yourself, it won't be easy, but you'll be fine and soon enough, hopefully very soon, you'll have your own BFP x I know it x

@Ellsbells112 I feel as though I may have the same scarring or something that has happened. I can be rude and ask your history as I'm not long on this thread. What did you say to doctor to finally get them to do something I would really like to get the ball rolling too x

@Danni2019 I told her I'd been trying for 11 months and she said the average time to get pregnant is 8 months. I told her my history and she said there could be possible scarring but that my OH needs to be checked first as he doesn't have kids and it could literally be low sperm count. I had to wait this long though because I went a few months back and they turned me away x (I had a c section too, also other procedures)

@Beau2020x thanks, knowing that it's moving forward puts my mind at ease now. I'll know either way! Yeah, that would piss me off especially if you know she's literally doing it in a competitive way. Rise above it though and kill her with kindness, make her feel like shit for even thinking that way

@Mumofboys17 I didn't need to provide any proof. They wanted the numbers on the holder and I did have to post it to them (they sent me an envelope) but from memory they sent me a new holder first. I was annoyed as I did miss tracking a cycle because of it.

@Fredthespider yeh exactly, it's literally packed up when technically I could be getting my static smiley any day now! DH has ordered another one on amazon bless him, but that won't be here til tomorrow anyway. I've got over 50 of the cheap green IC's so I'm using loads of those today just in case 😂 they're medium dark ish but deffo not positive. Glow reckons I'll ovulate on Friday/Saturday this week so we're pretty much on track for that. Ovia reckons end of next week! 🙄🤷🏼‍♀️😂😂

@Beau2020x i have been there it horrible feeling we got married in may and started trying in april feel like everyone jump on ttc wagon and now baby are pop up/
out one after another this week for all tho lucky first month trying soul destroying i going to be hard but when bfp come it will all be worth it

@Ellsbells112 I'm glad things are moving forward for you as I know how you must be feeling. thanks so much for your reply think I'm going to try and go back. Its been about 10 months for me but rather get something booked in and feel as though something is happening. Don't think it could be my partner as we have our son but I guess things could happen over time. We will see if they tell me to keep waiting again x

@Danni2019 I don't think they will make you wait again, tell them you're afraid of scarring but I don't know whether just a c section will cause it? Unless you had an infection with it (or other procedures or stds) . My background is quite complicated 😅 but at 10 months I'm sure they can start doing tests. Also just know that if you are healthy sometimes it can just take a little while longer than the first time, I see people who conceive quickly first time but second time take like 14 months. It's long but everyone is different x

@Danni2019 and thanks, yeah it feels horrible when you feel like there is something wrong and causing issues, you feel like it's just a waste of time. Now I'm happy that at least if I'm not pregnant now or next month things are in motion to be seen to x

@Danni2019 also have you thought about endometriosis? I told her that when I'm on my period I have bad pain when I try to go number 2 and she said I could have endometriosis which causes fertility issues too x

Hey ladies X out of curiosity, what does your opk look like while on period? I have just did mine to see what my base of LH would be like and have done it in the last couple of cycles but this one is darker than others - thats about an hour wee hold x

@Ellsbells112 @danni2019 I also have pain when I try and go for a #2 around my period and ovulation but I'm pretty sure I don't hate endo (at least I don't think so) 😂

@Katie1109 that's weird. I've never done one on my period but mine are stark white until about 3 days before ovulation and then goes stark white again straight after. I've never done one any other time but I'm on CD8 might go do one now 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Beau2020x thanks x there is always a line on mine, but this seems a bit too dark for CD2 - it’s reading as high on my app.

Well that's weird. Mine is on the low end of high CD8. I didn't even get a squinter on mine last time until CD11 and a line like this until CD13 🤷🏼‍♀️ mine are usually stark white until I'm about 5 days within ovulation.

Good job I did a random test now otherwise probs would have missed it because I wasn't going to start until CD12 😂
