2 ovulations 1month?

I'm confused -clearly!

Day 9 (immediately after my period) I tested positive for ovulation. Seemed early but my cycles have been a little off since I had the coil removed several months ago. Tests were negative after that.

Day 15 (today) the test is positive again. I did two to be sure.

Anyone with experience of this? We will DTD later regardless.

@Swife this is my last cycle chance. We won't be trying again after this. We are very lucky and have children already but I had hoped for one more. I don't really want to be pregnant again tbh because I do find it very hard on my body, but still 🤷‍♀️ My husband doesn't want another but was happy enough to try for a while but he has had enough. So I feel quite low that this is likely the end! I don't feel things are happening in utero so to speak. Ah well. I am crossing everything for you though!

Swife · 19/02/2020 00:45

@calimommy I see. We do still have time in this cycle so 🤞🏽 fingers crossed till the end 😁.

Swife · 19/02/2020 05:18

Welp... I'm out this month 🥺. Af just started. Good luck to the rest of you ladies 🧚🏽‍♀️.

calimommy · 19/02/2020 05:29

@Swife I'm sorry my dear xx such a downer x I hope you have a crisp sauv or a robust cab sauv (my preferences!) to ease you into wed/Thursday xxx Roll on March for an Xmas baby xxx

OP posts:
Swife · 19/02/2020 07:37

@calimommy I'm disappointed but I'll definitely take the robust suav😁. I think I may know the issue. I noticed I really never have egg white CF. I think I might try some pressed this month. I may need to drink more water too but we'll see.
I pray the best outcome for you as well. It's definitely a blessing to have babies even when you already have some. I would be a new mom but all the same I know how not having a babe can make you feel.
Whatever our outcomes I will keep you posted if you like😊

calimommy · 20/02/2020 01:54

@Swife I'm feeling very crampy today so I'll be shocked if af doesn't arrive tomorrow. Damn. Keep me updated on how you get on

OP posts:
calimommy · 22/02/2020 14:47

12DPO no af yet but BFN. It's not looking very good! How are you feeling @Swife ?

OP posts:
calimommy · 25/02/2020 15:48

@Swife I hope you are well. AF just arrived this morning, 3 days late so I bitterly had hope. All the best for you x

OP posts:
Swife · 29/02/2020 04:52

@calimommy sry to hear your af started. Does this really mean you're done🥺? I'm doing okay. I wasn't able to get the Preseed this month and I never see egg white cm, but I've upped my water intake and vitamins so we'll see. I'm in my fertile time so we shall see

calimommy · 04/03/2020 03:20

@Swife hi how's it going? I had a really heavy but short period (3 days) and then I bought a giant box of OPKs and HCGs off amazon so I guess we are going one more time 😜💀 I'm not sure what to think about my odd period, unless I'm starting the menopause early haha -I fucking hope not 😑.
Where are you in your cycle?

OP posts:
Swife · 06/03/2020 00:46

@calimommy I'm on cd15 today and so I'm 3 days in my round of Progesterone for this month. I'm still not sure if I ovulated or not but we did DTD when I suspect I should have peaked. Looks like your going again! I'm excited for you 🤗.

calimommy · 06/03/2020 03:13

@Swife I'm having positive thoughts for you! X

Today is CD10 for me and I got a +OPK which was several days ahead of expectations. I asked about the multiple surges I've been having on another thread and was directed to this:

premom.com/blogs/how-to-use-ovulation-tests/surges-and-peaks-gradual-onset

Having read that I think I'm the third type, with multiple peaks, but only the last one is ovulation. With that in mind I'll keep testing daily as usual and try to hit the positive days. My hormones must be quite off as I've never experienced this before.

OP posts:
Swife · 11/03/2020 04:19

@calimommy I'm on cd22 now so I'm expecting my af by next week sometime time. I'm still LH testing since I've shown no peak but I may just have missed that testing day due to my having an awful cold. I have noticed a change in me cm but nothing egg white so we'll just have to see 🤞🏽

For you may I ask how you eat because you can correct your hormones by having a change in diet. I'm actually on an Endometriosis diet my OBGYN put me on to help with my symptoms since I'm off the Endometriosis meds. It basically eliminates all meats but poultry and fish(free range or wild caught and no antibiotics). It also takes out anything processed so I make my own sauces and dressings. And plenty, I mean plenty of fruits and veggies. I can post a copy if you want. I only cheat with Chocolate...because...come on it's Chocolate 🍫😂.

calimommy · 11/03/2020 04:32

@Swife well I'm Hoping you have good news shortly! Re diet, I have IBS so I try to follow FODMAPS as well as drinking lots of wine 😂 I've been following FODMAPS for years now and it's helped me enormously, although as a lover of food i will often eat things which don't suit me (easily done, it's a very tricky diet) and I'm unwell for a short while.

OP posts:
Swife · 16/03/2020 06:55

@calimommy So I'm ttc cycle 11. I'm so discouraged! I'm 39 as of January and I'm beginning to think my cm is killing my Husband's sperm and I will never be a mother😒. I'm with giving up or gonna keep trying till it's over. Y mind is garbled and I'm having mixed feelings. In reality I know I don't have much time so I'm thinking...is it worth the sad feeling after every TWW? Long story short. My af came today so I'm out😔.
I think I have the strength to keep going but... I don't know

calimommy · 16/03/2020 17:24

@Swife I'm sorry you are feeling so low. Take as much time as you want to feel sorry about it, I hate when people say "be positive or buck up", it is just plain shit. Has your Dr suggested anything pharmaceutical? Have you considered ivf? It's not an easy road so I know it's not decided lightly. Virtual hug and cup of tea for you from me x

calimommy · 18/03/2020 15:48

@Swife how are you doing today? Are you quarantined as well?

OP posts:
Swife · 20/03/2020 08:28

@calimommy we are quarantined here as well. Mad because it has caused me to miss 2 days in my letrozole cycle. I was supposed to start on my 3rd day of period but...Coronavirus 😞. So I'm freaking out a little and hubby is like don't worry. So I'm able to get it now but it's late. We'll see though, at least I have some LH tests. I'm discouraged but I'm gonna keep going.

Are you guys quarantined as well? How's it going?

calimommy · 20/03/2020 13:31

@Swife it's going ok here, I'm absolutely exhausted trying to keep the boys occupied at home. We go out for walks and scoots and bike rides but they are missing their Frienda and school so
Much!

I'm sorry to hear about the disruption, it must add a layer of unnecessary stress! What is your husbands level of interest in this ttc? Mine was interested the first time but not as much the other times. He also STILL has no idea how the cycle works.

OP posts:
calimommy · 21/03/2020 21:33

Swife · 22/03/2020 23:13

@calimommy 🧚🏽‍♀️lots of baby dust 🤞🏽

Swife · 22/03/2020 23:17

@calimommy surprisingly hubby is more on board than before. Whatever I tell him we need he's on it. He even asks questions to my OBGYN 😁. He's always telling me not to think negatively when I freak out.

calimommy · 22/03/2020 23:54

@Swife I'm glad to hear that, nothing worse than doing it alone, with your partner obvious to the timing etc! I hope you are feeling better now and ready for another cycle. X

OP posts:
Swife · 23/03/2020 02:44

@calimommy I'm in better spirits ready for another round 😊.
