2 ovulations 1month?

I'm confused -clearly!

Day 9 (immediately after my period) I tested positive for ovulation. Seemed early but my cycles have been a little off since I had the coil removed several months ago. Tests were negative after that.

Day 15 (today) the test is positive again. I did two to be sure.

Anyone with experience of this? We will DTD later regardless.

@calimommy hey! I'm glad that you're back on track. I'm hoping I am too. How many dpo are you. I'm at 8 as of 2am, my USA time. I did test for HCG yesterday. I know...ugh....why!? I knew it would be a bfn but I just had to pee on that damn stick😂!
What's your overall month looking like?

calimommy · 10/02/2020 15:06

@Swife I got a positive OPK yesterday morning and it is still positive this morning, but I'll test again later and I expect it to become negative at some point. We DTD a few times yesterday and the last few days so I feel like it's out of my hands now for a bit. I think AF is due around the 24th. I usually get implantation bleeding so I'll be watching for that in 5-7 days. I won't be testing until much closer to the 24th or after though, the BFN are too discouraging and unless af is imminent I don't want to set myself up for disappointment.

I suspected you were in the states alright haha I'm also here, on the west coast.

@calimommy I met another friend there in Cali.😃 She we met in BabyCenter. Her bundle just turned 1.
I'm in Maryland. I feel the same as you. I think and tracked that we covered before and during the times needed. I'm really not supposed to test until the 16th.
I'm with you we did what we could this month and now we crazily wait😂🤪. The OPKs really do help it's just really our timing that counts...I guess. We'll see 😁

calimommy · 11/02/2020 04:23

@Swife oh wow so you are the opposite side of the country! I keep telling DH we should move to the east coast because it's closer to home, would be a 5/6 hr flight instead of 11 with three small kids on a tin can prison. The waiting game now! I'm crossing my Fingers your have good news soon x and that I have some shortly after ha!

@calimommy I use love it here Nd the medical here is just awesome 👏🏽. I think that we covered this month but you're right this tww feels like the 2 month wait 😒. Especially since we get all these crazy symptoms 😫. I think I can wait till the 16th...5 more days🥺...HELP!

calimommy · 12/02/2020 17:19

@Swife opinion please?

On Sunday I got +OPK, was strongly positive all day (4tests) and continued to be + until lunchtime Monday when the tests started fading, so -. I also had a lot of O pains and EWCM. This was O as far as I can be certain. But because my cycles have been a little odd I had decided that I would test every day this month to get a positive idea of what is going on. OPK have been - (very faint) since then except for this morning when it looks + again??

@calimommy you're ovulating!!! Do the Baby Dance just in case!!!! Oh I'm sry this is late

calimommy · 13/02/2020 01:04

I don't think I am though? No EWCM and was negative when I tested around 2pm. I give up! 😂🙈

OP posts:
calimommy · 13/02/2020 01:06

I had positive OPK on
CD8
CD17-18
CD 20

But the 17-18 was the only time I had EWCM and O pain.

calimommy · 13/02/2020 01:07

Maybe I'll try to baby dance tonight anyway. Could do with it either way tbh haha

@calimommy when our cycles are off we may experience more than one peak. The latest one would most likeness the true one but I was told by my OB to BD at lest every other day, when this happens. My second peak was on the same CD. And my OB tested my levels and I definitely did ovulate the second time. Hope this helps

Swife · 13/02/2020 01:08

@calimommy it's never a bad time to do the BD🤪

calimommy · 13/02/2020 19:43

@Swife how's it going? Are you 12DPO now? Have you tested?

OP posts:
Swife · 15/02/2020 19:23

@calimommy, I'm dpo13 today and I decided to test but it came out clearly a bfn🥺. I'm not thinking no yet because of my last 2 months of cycle craziness ( my cycle was 40days last time and it's normally 28 days). So I honestly feel like I'm out. But you know we not out til our cycles start only this month I'm not sure when that really will be.
How's things going for you?

calimommy · 15/02/2020 20:12

@Swife that's discouraging for sure. Crossing my
Fingers for you all the same x

I'm ok, not feeling massively positive about this month, I know we covered the days needed so if it doesn't work then I'm a little at a loss tbh. 6DPO now so a bit of a wait to go. I usually get implantation spotting so if I see that I'll feel much more positive. 🤷‍♀️

@calimommy yes we're super finger crossing 🤞🏽 with lots of baby dust 🧚🏽‍♀️! I'm frustrated but I'm gonna keep trying until I can't. I got good news on my labs from the craziness of the previous 3 months so I'm gonna preserver...or try to anyways 😊. It's good to have friends in the same boat who know how I feel. It makes it much easier... so thank you☺️.
Fingers crossed we get our bundles👣

Hey ladies, just found this thread. Thought i would share my experience with ovulation and the tests...I had crazy months last year, when the tests would always show as positive - all dark-any day of the month. Literally looked like i am on nonstop ovulation track...
Anyway, for some unknown reasons,i then had a really long cycle (79days!)and had some blood tests done. That nurse mentioned that the ovulation tests mystery can be due to some protein in my body, that triggers the tests ..so it's not really LH surge but it behaves like it.
Not sure how true this is...but i guess mother nature is unpredictable. Since then things came back to normal, no more 'always positive tests'.

Another thing I'd mention is Dr Jonas's method. This is based on lunar fertility cycle and he's done 30yrs of research to prove that women's fertility is related to positions of moon/sun at the time when she was born. There's lots of maths behind it too. Says women can ovulate twice in a month - based on lunar cycle and also hormonal cycle. Some good reading: www.iconceive.com/jonas-method/
I normally wouldn't believe in things like this, but one of Dr Jonas's 11 children was my classmate at school. The conception and gender of all of those kids were 'calculated' based on his method!

calimommy · 16/02/2020 17:00

@Swife thoughts on this test? CD24

@Rybenka thank you for your feedback I’ll look into your suggestions x

2 ovulations 1month?

Swife · 17/02/2020 06:21

Thanks@Rybenka for that information I look forward to researching it😁

Swife · 17/02/2020 06:31

@calimommy it would appear that you ovulated 3x? Do you have an OB that you can ask questions to? You may be up for a long cycle if that's the case. I was able to see mine when I spotted and then realized my cycle was going too far out. But after testing I found things were normal, I just had to get back on my healthy track. So confusing though I'll do some research 😊

calimommy · 17/02/2020 06:38

@Swife I don't think that is possible? 😂💀 bloody hell this has been a messed up few months of cycles! I give up!

OP posts:
MsChatterbox · 17/02/2020 06:53

I had a cycle day 7 peak and cycle day 17 peak one cycle!

Swife · 18/02/2020 02:31

@calimommy pls don't give up. Let's go through this together 🥺! My last 3 cycles were so messed up, at age 39, I thought for sure that I was getting ready for menopause 😒. Once I got my blood work done I felt a bit at ease. I tested today and got a BFN! You don't know how bad I wanna give up... but I'm not in menopause and I have some time left and I'm gonna make the most of it. If I can't then there are so many babies and children that need the love I have to give. Pls hang in there!!! I'll hold you 'online' hand🤝

Swife · 18/02/2020 02:35

@MsChatterbox I found out that if we have ovulate so close together it more than likely means the first one didn't work and our bodies detected it and released another egg. If it's frequent we should consult or OBGYN's. Hope this give you some insight and welcome 😊.
