About to go into my fertile week and will be testing 29th jan 🙂 this is my 4th cycle trying for my 1st.

Anyone want some company while we enter into another TWW? 🙂

@AliSxo ahhh that’s not long to wait then! Definitely let us know 🙂 I think I probably will end up testing on the Sunday too!x

AutumnCat · 16/01/2020 23:03

@JoesM12 I think were out this month too. We DTDd quite a lot up until the time I was predicted to ovulate but I think I ovulated late and this week has been super stressful for DH at work with some really late nights etc so the timing has been really off. Urgh so cross, almost cross with myself and with him but it's no ones fault. Not as if I can call up his work and tell them to make someone else do it as i need him at home, is it...?! Grin

Sparkle2020 · 16/01/2020 23:20

Just tested at 3dpo lol. Ttc makes me nuts Blush

everpessimistic · 17/01/2020 09:30

Sparkle 😂😂😂 someone needs to lock the sticks away!! I think 8DPO is my earliest I’ve tested.

6 DPO (days post ovulation), and temperature has dropped today so either implantation (probably too early for that) or I’m out for this month. Really hoping it’s the first one. Feeling tiny bit crampy but nothing special and it’s probably my mind playing tricks. Trying to hold out until atleast Wednesday to test.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 17/01/2020 09:58

Most people don’t implant until 9dpo and you’ll get no HCG until then so I’d recommend waiting until then if you can

AsSurprisedAsYouAre · 17/01/2020 13:48

1DPO. Ah, hello again tww. We meet again. Maybe this will be the month I'm super chill and stick to my plan? No testing before 10DPO, but a frer then is perfect because I get to POAS (the feeling of action! The illusion of control!) and there's a tiny chance of a faint pos, but a BFN isn't too disheartening because it's still so early. Was it someone else on this thread saying that was their preferred tactic/rationale too?

AliSxo · 17/01/2020 16:49

@AsSurprisedAsYouAre I've said it before I've always said if I test early and it's bfn that's ok because it's too early, I'm in a bubble of bullshit and then 12/13dpo bfn's really piss me off! Xz

AsSurprisedAsYouAre · 17/01/2020 17:31

@aliSxo Yes! I remember it was you now, I read it and thought I reason about it the absolute same way!

Sparkle2020 · 17/01/2020 23:15

@everpessimistic hahah don’t I know it 😂

Convinced I’m out as I’ve had quite bad af type cramps for the past few days even though I’m only 4/5dpo so just feels like a sign it’s not happened :/

BellaMella · 18/01/2020 09:53

@Sparkle2020 gutted. I'd rather think I'm out and not think about it for a few days and have a pleasant surprise if AF doesn't show up rather than have potential symptoms and a BFN and AF arrive, if that makes sense.

I think I may be out too as my potential implantation bleeding seems to have little clots in it, so that can't be a good sign. Must be an early AF.

Sparkle2020 · 18/01/2020 13:20

@BellaMella yeah that makes sense. Still hard not to think about though isn’t it. My cramps have been so bad this morning too. Ah yeah that doesn’t sound like a good sign bless you :(

JoesM12 · 18/01/2020 14:50

How is everyone doing during the tww? Anyone due to test really soon? 😊

I had a positive opk (static smiley on a clearblue & a cheap amazon one) on Monday cd17 but according to temps I didn’t ov until Thursday cd20 which is frustrating because everything I’ve read said you should ov within 36 hours after a positive🙄
We only dtd cd14, 15 &18 during my fertile window because my husband was under the weather so it played total havoc with his libido 🙈
Do I have no chance this month? I know they say sperm can Live for 5 days but im still not holding out much hope 😑

bluemoon2468 · 18/01/2020 15:49

@JoesM12 I generally don't ovulate until 48-72 hours after my first positive. This month I had positive OPKs on 3/potentially 4 days in a row before my temp rise. If you ovulated on CD20 you're in with a solid chance from DTD on CD18 though - 14 and 15 much less likely.

JoesM12 · 18/01/2020 16:32

@bluemoon2468 ahh thank you so much! I normally ovulate the day after my peak so I just assumed and I never thought to take another opk the next day because the clearblue ones don’t let you re test for 48 hours.
It makes me feel better that it’s normal for it to take a few days 😊

HalfPenny28 · 18/01/2020 21:11

Not long to go everyone 🥰💕 fingers crossed for you all x

Two week wait is killing me, 8DPO and so I guess I could test tomorrow (last time I got a BFP was 9 DPO on a FRER) but I’m gonna try be good and hold out until atleast Wednesday, anyone else caved or any good news?

Cedarwood7 · 19/01/2020 12:06

Hi everyone - this is my first MN post. I just love how kind and supportive everyone is to each other - a rarity these days and so lovely to see Smile

This our 8th cycle TTC for the first time. I have really irregular cycles so we've been using a MyLotus monitor to try pinpoint my ovulation dates. Interestingly I had two LH surges this month about 3 days apart. We've been DTD every other day from about two days before the first lh surge. Based on the latest lh surge date I'm 9dpo today (but maybe 11/12 dpo if going by the first one). AF due Friday.

Based on the last 7 cycles and the trauma of analysing every little possible symptom I've decided not to test until at least a week after AF due. It's just not worth the anguish (and expense).

I've no reason to think this cycle would be any greater a chance (slightly getting normalised to this whole thing) and have a prescription for clomiphene which I'll start if AF arrives. I'm turning 37 in a few months and getting impatient so ready to push on with some treatment if needs be.

Anyway... sending positive thoughts and some wintry sunshine to everyone. Thanks for having me :)

JoesM12 · 19/01/2020 12:15

@AutumnCat same for us!! We were dtd a lot prior to my fertile week and then it all went out of the window haha. Never mind aye. We aren’t out till af shows up I guess!
I already told my husband is it’s peak day he need to come home early from work haha!
Keep us updated with how you’re getting on ❤️

Ziggystarduck · 19/01/2020 14:05

Hi everyone, I hope you're all staying sane in the tww! I'm hoping you lovely people can give your opinion on my bbt charts, as I think natural cycles is wrong about my ovulation day.
CD 17 positive opk, negative all other days.
Ewcm cd 15- 18, ccm CD 19 onwards.
From this, and the way I was feeling I'd assume ovulation on CD18, which is also about normal for me and I'm very regular. This is also the day my temps starting going up.
However, natural cycles says the most likely day is cd21?! I put all the info into fertility friend to double check, and it thinks cd20. What do you guys think?
My oh had to do a semen analysis on my cd20, so we had to abstain from CD 18 onwards. This seemed fine with the timing and we'd bd up until the evening of CD 17, but now NC has changed its mind about when I ovulated I'm worried I missed the window a bit. I had a hsg earlier this cycle so really hoping this would be our month with the increased chances after having a good flush out! Fingers crossed technology is wrong!

bluemoon2468 · 19/01/2020 14:38

@Ziggystarduck I've been confused about this with NC myself in the past but unfortunately after reading up on it a bit I'm inclined to believe the app. Although the algorithm does take OPK results into account, it prioritises temperature data. This is because OPKs are actually highly unreliable for a number of reasons - women often have multiple LH surges per cycle, an LH surge doesn't necessarily mean you will ovulate, ovulation can take place any time from 12-72 hours after peak LH, and there's human error in interpreting whether a test is positive or negative. As long as you follow temperature taking guidelines, it is very reliable at showing when you ovulated, and NC will always consider the last temp below the cover line as the day you ovulated.

bluemoon2468 · 19/01/2020 14:41

@Ziggystarduck just to show you mine for comparison - I had positive OPKs on CDs 8, 14 and 15, and NC says I ovulated on CD16.

Mycrazylife85 · 19/01/2020 15:58

@everpessimistic I'm 6dpo according to flo and I temp. Personally I think I'm 7 days but had a drop in temp today. I haven't felt a twitch anywhere and my boobs are back to normal now. Spots are back. So I think that's me out. What happened with your bbt after your drop on cd6?

everpessimistic · 19/01/2020 16:47

@Mycrazylife85 back up a wee bit. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽 It’s an implantation dip for you, you’ll find out tomorrow I suppose!

Ooo thank you! Yours looks great! Fingers crossed for you too 🤞🤞🤞

HalfPenny28 · 19/01/2020 17:38

@everpessimistic I tested today - couldn't help myself. I think I'm only 7/8 dpo though so it was a long shot. And only used one my my crap internet ones.

How're you getting on?
