We’ve had some beautiful success stories so hoping they continue.

@BabyB19 thank you so much I knew you would be over the moon for me. It was sunk in yet I’ll be glad to get a stronger line and past AF date which is Monday. I think I may have ovulated later than predicted I wouldn’t no as didn’t do a single OPK but Thursday I had the most Usual back ache on one side. My frer is faint but definitely pink I’ve done two IC and a OPK here they are.

Thanks @dizzy85 I can’t imagine the stress of it all, you are so strong as a person. They are still strong lines so I’m keeping everything crossed for you. I hope we get to go on our pregnancy journey together. I’m so glad to be back. Apart from my husband I haven’t told anyone else it’s just too soon but I do want to scream it out the window

BabyB19 · 25/04/2020 12:36

@dizzy85 I'm being completely genuine when I say that too test looks darker than the bottom? Do you not think so?
I hope you're doing ok! It's not over yet. Stay positive.
It's crazy @Jonesbabynumber1 that so many have bfp's
I really hope everyone can come and join me on the other board soon, the pregnancy boards can be helpful but not as friendly as you girls. My little mumsnet family. I want to carry on the journey with you all

MrsCl19 · 25/04/2020 12:47

I agree with @BabyB19 ... @dizzy85 I understand why your mind is assuming the worst as it's a good coping mechanism and I think we all do it.

BabyB19 · 25/04/2020 12:51

Definitely @MrsCl19 it's good to be prepared for the worst but it's crappy it takes the excitement away!

dizzy85 · 25/04/2020 14:23

@Jonesbabynumber1 Thankyou it's been tough but I actually feel better today than I have done. I have everything crossed for you too ❤️ hopefully soon you can scream it from the windows 😁

@BabyB19 @MrsCl19
I did actually think it looks abit darker but the day before I had probably drank more as I couldn't sleep and then was up peeing more so that is probably why it's lighter and last night I slept solid 7 hours so I think the pee was definitely stronger today. And the amount of bleeding I've had has been like a normal heavy period with small clots so I highly doubt I'm pregnant now and also the test line at this point would surely be really dark and I'm still lightly bleeding. It would be an amazing miracle if I was but I really doubt it and have accepted that. It's really shit but I will get through it.

@ceebee21 how are you getting on?

ceebee21 · 25/04/2020 15:49

@dizzy85 yes all ok here thanks. I managed to speak to an endocrinologist on the phone yesterday at the local hospital and they have increased my medication, also going to refer me to their antenatal clinic.
Still not feeling very optimistic, but I don't think I will until I get to 12 weeks...if that does happen.

@Jonesbabynumber1 wow good to hear from you, and congrats. Deffo looks like a BFP!!

X

Tbug · 25/04/2020 15:53

Omg @Jonesbabynumber1!! Congrats 😍🥰

Jonesbabynumber1 · 25/04/2020 17:45

Thank you everyone I couldn’t wait to share it with you all. Congratulations to you all who’ve got BFP how you getting on? I’ve peed on every stick in the house getting strong results on OPKs and got a line on IC even after only holding a wee for an hour. I’ve ordered for frer but not coming until tomorrow I’ve got a clear blue left so may use that for first wee. Anyone had any experience with this test. I keep looking at tests to make sure I haven’t been imagining it all. My husband playing safe I think he’ll be turned once I get a nice strong response on a test. Just the thought that after 7 cycles something’s happened is a weight lifted. I’ve haven’t taken any folic acid for two months because I was sick of taking it. Will I be alright to wait until day of AF before taking it I just don’t want to do anything before then. Any advice be welcome?

Hi everyone :) thought I'd try here see if anyone can shed some light and help. Really confused.. had a positive OPK 10/04 and now one again today and got this HPT, is it positive? Really don't want to get my hopes up but I swear I see something! Unsure what DPO I am as cycles have been a bit wonky recently however I'd be due my period this weekend if I go off the positive OPK on 10/04. One thing I noticed was i got the positive OPK 11/04, then on 20/04 I had cramps which would be 9 DPO, would that of been implantation?

@Jonesbabynumber1 it's fantastic news! Fingers are firmly crossed for you! I peed on a good 11 tests 🤭 I couldn't stop 🤣

I've not used the fold one but I did use a normal clear blue and it was fine.

I think you do have to keep checking to make sure 🤣

BabyB19 · 25/04/2020 19:01

I see a line @mrsgtobe97 give it a couple of days and test again, that would be in line with the dates you've mentioned too. Maybe also try and get your hands on a FRER as well to get a proper read.
@Jonesbabynumber1 I don't think a couple of days will make much difference with the folic acid but I'd give your gp a ring and ask if they will prescribe you the higher dose until 12 weeks with you not taking it before hand. My OH was very wary as well but as soon as I got a strong positive he came around x

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/04/2020 07:21

Morning all, not sleeping the best and feeling very sick, but that is not a moan by any means. I took a test last night after holding a wee for a few hours this result with Clearblue which is 25ml. Should the line be stronger? I’m hoping to test again once the frer which is hopefully today.

Hoping for a new year miracle!

BabyB19 · 26/04/2020 08:19

For a 25ml I think that's good to still have a clear line, I think you may have OV a few days later, that's what happened with me and I was doing OPKs as well so I thought I was spot on with it. I can still definitely see it though @Jonesbabynumber1 🥰 x

MrsCl19 · 26/04/2020 08:20

@Jonesbabynumber1 I'd say for a wee in the afternoon and the test that's a good line! Symptoms are good sign to! X

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/04/2020 08:31

@BabyB19 @MrsCl19 what would I do without you guys that reassurance has lifted a weight. Yes I think I’m more like 12 dpo. Hopefully amazon prime comes through and delivers the frer today and I get a nice strong line.

OP posts:
BabyB19 · 26/04/2020 08:44

I've never used the clear blue because 25ml always seemed too high and I was scared it wouldn't pick it up hahah.
I'm not sleeping much now either, the heat and the baby kicking me keeps me up. It's so weird I love it but it's hard work 🤣 @Jonesbabynumber1

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/04/2020 08:55

@BabyB19 That must be most amazing feeling having the baby kick, beautiful miracle but I bet you miss sleep. I’m just taking each day as it comes I’ll feel better after tomorrow I think as that when AF due. Clear blue was only one in shop And couldn’t not have a stick to pee on in the house 😅

OP posts:
MrsCl19 · 26/04/2020 09:01

@Jonesbabynumber1 Iknow that feeling 🤣 I was just buying them and doing them all the time 🤣

BabyB19 · 26/04/2020 09:09

I was demented with them, I told my sister and she turned up at my house with 21 tests, so lucky to have such support I thought she was going to call me crazy but she was just in it with me and understood what I was feeling as she has has 2 x MC as well. It's a crazy feeling that you can only understand when you've been there isn't it. @MrsCl19 @Jonesbabynumber1 so keep peeing if it eases your anxiety 🤣 it's an amazing comfort mentally but physically it's taking some getting used to it makes me feel sick 🤣 xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/04/2020 09:14

@MrsCl19 @BabyB19 Yes I’ll keep POAS as it does help. I haven’t told anyone else yet. I may have to tell my manager tomorrow as we are still out visiting people and I wouldn’t want to risk it. But I also don’t want her to be first one I tell so I may tell one of my sisters who is most likely to keep it to herself as if I tell the rest of my family the whole world will know 🙈

OP posts:
Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/04/2020 09:15

What’s everyone’s due dates?

OP posts:
BabyB19 · 26/04/2020 09:25

It's horrible isn't it, I work frontline interviewing 'vulnerable' people so I had to tell my manager really quick too but I didn't want to. In the end I had to tell the family on Christmas Eve because I was bleeding and wasn't going to be drinking Christmas Day (which is 100% dead giveaway as I like a wine or two) so it was a very sad affair because it was sort of a 'I'm pregnant but I think I'm MC so we're not to talk about it or get excited' that was at 4 weeks, and I didn't stop bleeding until about 9-10 weeks so it was a long wait of nobody being allowed to talk to me about it 🤦🏽‍♀️🙄 in the end it's all worked out fine @Jonesbabynumber1 im due 23/08 x

Jonesbabynumber1 · 26/04/2020 09:37

@BabyB19 Yes I’m not a massive fan of my manger either she’s a bit awkward and it will have to be over email but I’ll how I feel tomorrow. I can imagine bleeding is very nerve wracking. Wow that’s come round quick. Have you got the nursery ready? How you getting on today @dizzy85 and @ceebee21
