Hey ladies,

Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia! GrinGrin

What's your story?

Suffering with sinusitis and increase nasal discharge (@notetaker like you!) and a bit of googling tells me that time of ovulation apparently increases risk of infections as body lowers the immunity to allow sperm to survive! Whaaat! The stuff I’m learning through these TTC attempts is unreal 😂 And I work in healthcare...gosh

Hatepickinganame · 22/01/2020 11:47

@clolo ha you do have a point there, if im actually in the 2ww lol i cant decide if i think ive ovulated or not! I get the WORST pms, nausea, cramps the works so i refuse to symptom spot this month (bet i still do!!) And ive told oh not to let me near a test until af is late 😂😂😂

Hatepickinganame · 22/01/2020 11:48

And according to flow its due 6th feb.... feels like long time away!

MrsTwentySeven · 22/01/2020 12:04

@hatepickinganame we are both due around the same date! Here’s to not testing until then! I’m going to stop myself from buying any tests until then

notetaker · 22/01/2020 13:21

@MrsTwentySeven That would make loads of sense because mine developed into a stinking cold...

Looks like a few of us will be testing together in the first week of Feb then @Hatepickinganame!
Really hoping we've done enough this month...

(Btw, hi newbies!)

MummyMooCow · 22/01/2020 13:39

Can I join? I'd be happy to watsapp.
I am 27, my husband is 31, married 2 years this July, been together 7years. We have 3 dogs called Sykes, Suzi and Barry. I have had an implant since I was 14 with no periods until my most recent one, I had a monthly cycle that was pretty regular down to 4-5days and I was on my period when it was removed so never noticed a withdrawal bleed. I am due another period around the 3rd February and if it doesn't arrive by the 5th I'm going to do a test.
I have been taking pregnacare multivitamins since early December.
What vitamins does everyone else take?
I'm intrigued to know if anyone else has started buying things or decorating a nursery yet?

professorastrocat · 22/01/2020 13:41

I'm gonna to try really hard to not test this month and just wait....we'll see. Anyone else due/testing around the 11th/12th ? Gotta do some baby making in the meantime GrinGrin

professorastrocat · 22/01/2020 13:52

Welcome @MummyMooCow i take natures best brand of vitamins I think they are called strong start. Are you getting excited thinking about things to buy! My little boy didn't use his room for the first 2.5 years so didn't get much use til then GrinWink

notetaker · 22/01/2020 14:43

@MummyMooCow Gap had a range of super cute Star Wars stuff before Christmas that nearly broke me, but I'm holding off buying and decorating until I know I need to!

Hatepickinganame · 22/01/2020 15:02

@MrsTwentySeven @notetaker im now relying on you guys to help keep me sane... it'll get to a week in and ill itching to test i just know it 😂 although oh agreed with me about no tests until af is late hahaha

Hatepickinganame · 22/01/2020 15:03

@MummyMooCow i have bought some baby stuff but for my pregnant friends lol i do stop and go all gooey everytime i see baby clothes though

MrsTwentySeven · 22/01/2020 15:10

Yess no buying FRERS @hatepickinganame 😂 This is my biggest problem. I keep seeing ladies with BFPs CD10 and convince myself I need to test. Feb 5! That’s the date I have to hold on until 🙈
DTD CD 14, 15, 16 and hopefully tonight - really hope October baby is on the cards for all of us !
Re: baby clothes / decorating, me and DH discusses this today ...ahh mamas and papas seem to have such nice baby clothes! Purchasing them for friends’ babies makes me feel so warm inside haha

notetaker · 22/01/2020 15:31

@Hatepickinganame I'll be here with your friendly 'put the pee sticks down!' announcement 😂

@MrsTwentySeven We missed DTD on CD15 and I'm really beating myself up about it today...

MrsTwentySeven · 22/01/2020 15:36

@notetaker tbh sex every other day is meant to be just as good - if I remember correctly it’s 22% chance vs 25% ....I really wouldn’t worry! Tbh I think we have only managed consecutive DTD as we are on holiday haha
Here’s to the TWW...
I’ve been very lazy with my supplements so I’m going to start folic acid religiously from tomorrow! 🙈

2020wisher · 22/01/2020 18:18

Hi everyone. So I think I’m in the TWW now, DTD day 12 and 14- not seen each other for more so I’m not sure we will be lucky this month.

Had EWCM day 13 and then nothing which is weird, and had no pain this month with ovulation. So maybe we timed it perfectly or maybe I didn’t OV?!

Not feeling hopeful but on the plus side I feel really relaxed. Re shopping, I have a list of things on my phone with prices. Trying to do that rather than actually purchase just yet haha!

littletandme · 22/01/2020 18:28

Done today's opk to compare with yesterday's, definite progression! I've put them into Femometer but it took ages to get it to pick up the test line on yesterday's. Hoping ov won't be too far away, my apps are saying 9 days to go based on my cycles when on the implant but today is technically CD19 so would be great if it was sooner!

MrsTwentySeven · 22/01/2020 18:39

2020 wisher good luck ! Don’t rule yourself out - it only takes one Wink 🤞🏾
Ahh the list idea is so fab. Though tbh as it’s our first ...no idea where to even begin ?! Everyone talks about the NCT classes as a good way to ease into the whole process ...

MrsTwentySeven · 22/01/2020 18:39

Littletandme DTD and lots of DTD!

Hatepickinganame · 22/01/2020 18:53

@2020wisher sounds like me with ewcm then nothing! This will be my 4th @mrstwentyseven and im as clueless as my first lol my youngest is 5 so all the baby stuff seems so long ago to me now! The one thing i remember is i never used the baby bath with any of them as they always had baths with us so wont be wasting cash on one of those this time 😂

2020wisher · 22/01/2020 19:14

I’m hoping- from my google research!! That EWCM then nothing means I ov’d and if that’s right we dtd on the two vital days. Anyway, we shall see!

Distracting myself with planning tons for the TWW- any suggestions for nice activities? We are off to the west end this weekend and I fancy planning a cinema trip next week.

Hatepickinganame · 22/01/2020 19:27

@2020wisher then im hoping youre right too cause that means i ov'd when i think i did and we should have a good shot this month 😁 ill be going to see the new harley film in feb but thats about all ee have planned. What you going to see in west end?

2020wisher · 22/01/2020 19:35

@hatepickinganame Book of Mormon which I’ve seen once before but would like to take DH Grin going to try and embrace two weeks of pampering myself I think. I only have one pregnancy test in the house so the goal is to not use it till 11th February.

When do you think you’ll be testing?

Hatepickinganame · 22/01/2020 19:50

@2020wisher ah i havent seen that, took my eldest to see wicked last week though. Im due on the 6th so my plan is to wait til the 8th but betcha i cave before then 😂😂 i have no tests at the moment!

2020wisher · 22/01/2020 20:00

@hatepickinganame we can do this! Just checked and I’m actually due 4th Feb! So I think we will be testing the same time.

notetaker · 22/01/2020 21:01

That’s loads of us testing at the same time then! Good luck everyone Smile
Love the idea of two weeks of pampering @2020wisher!

I’m planning not to buy too much beforehand and try to buy as we need instead. SIL is due #3 in April so she may well have finished with some stuff that we could re-home...
