Hey ladies,

Posted on a few threads but think it's about the time I might know what I'm sorta on about! Ha!

Looking for some TTC Buddies I can what's app :-)

A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia! GrinGrin

What's your story?

Thanks for your response @posharmchairs

According to the instructions I should have seen flashing smilies during high fertility days and then a static smiley on my peak day! Hopefully I just started testing a little too late for it to pick up my high fertility days and my surge is correct! 🤞🏼

Just spent some time catching up - decided to give myself a break from thinking about being babies/being pregnant/not being pregnant last night.

I'm so sorry @MrsTwentySeven - I know how excited you were. Give yourself some time to feel however you want to feel today because it really is ok.
That goes for everyone, actually. TTC is bloody hard so never feel bad for being angry or demotivated.
I'm so glad I found this bus - thank you all for the support.

littletandme · 31/01/2020 08:52

@MrsTwentySeven so sorry it wasn't a BFP (yet!) I can speak from experience that you've still got a chance because I had a BFN at 10dpo with my DD, then a BFP at 12dpo xx

professorastrocat · 31/01/2020 09:32

Thanks for your wise words @notetaker . Hope you're ok

Jellybean252 · 31/01/2020 10:00

I caved this morning and did a test at 11dpo.
BFN Sad
Now i just want to curl up in bed and mope around but duty calls!

Hatepickinganame · 31/01/2020 10:13

@notetaker i love your message, and i agree, so glad i found this thread. You guys are all freaking awesome 😊

Hatepickinganame · 31/01/2020 10:13

@Jellybean252 sorry about your bfn, fingers crossed it was just too early x

MimiArm · 31/01/2020 11:21

Morning ladies

Sorry to those who have had negative tests so far and that the wheels on the bus are still going round and round for! (Including me)!

I was bummed out all day yesterday and searching for "heavy implantation bleeding) and trying to hang on to a hope but today have accepted that it's AF. Oh well!

@Notetaker Agree 100% with you and thanks fo you, and everyone else on this bus for the support 😘

MrsTwentySeven · 31/01/2020 11:58

Aww you ladies are the best ❤️ thank you so much for the kind words @notetaker @littletandme @NChangeForNoReason @paintfairy @Hatepickinganame @professorastrocat

So glad I have this thread!!

Bumblebee413 · 31/01/2020 12:15

Hi everyone,

I hope it's ok if I join? I'm afraid I've been secretly stalking this thread for about a week. Everyone seems so friendly and supportive. I promised myself I wasn't going to join MN because I have an obsessive personality and I just wanted to be chill about TTC, but.... Blush oh hi guys!

I'm 32 and TTC for the first time. I am quite confused about when I might have ovulated and hoped someone could help. My cycles are quite varied (30-38 days long) so that isn't much help. On one day last week I got loads of watery discharge and some EWCM, alongside being super horny girls about 4 days straight. The second day I had less watery discharge and more EWCM. Much sex was had, thanks to the hormones. Which day might I have ovulated?

Depending on that, I'm possibly 9 dpo, although I'm very unsure. I am starting to get sore boobs today, which is completely normal for me before a period, but obviously this time I'm like- waaaaaait. I'm also really tired, but I do have a cold sooo. I also work shifts so I'm not really used to not being tired! In other news I am an absolute hypochondriac. Just so it's all out in the open!

Anyway, I hope it's ok if I can join. I'm friendly, supportive and definitely a little too excited/ neurotic! X

Bumblebee413 · 31/01/2020 12:21

Oops- *super horny for

Not super horny for girls. Not that there's ANYTHING wrong with that. Although it might be counter productive on this thread
..

Sorry. Also, I just wanted to say that @notetaker and @Hatepickinganame, @MrsTwentySeven and @MimiArm I am sorry it's been a tough month. You're lovely ladies and that really, really comes across through this thread. X

Hatepickinganame · 31/01/2020 12:31

@bumblebee413 hi! Glad you decided to join us. I was the same, i stalked mumsnet for ages before i was brave enough to actually post lol sooo glad i joined this thread. Everyone here is lovely, and so supportive. Really picks me up when ive had a rough day. Ttc really does bring out the crazy in us haha on the ovulation question, im not sure as im still learning all this stuff myself. Are you tracking with an app? Im using Flo, and it gives me like a 10 day fertile window at the moment 😂😂

@MrsTwentySeven glad we helped a little. Xx

paintfairy · 31/01/2020 12:44

@MrsTwentySeven Awww you are welcome. That's what we are all here for! 😊

professorastrocat · 31/01/2020 12:54

Welcome @Bumblebee413 you're in the right place for excited / neurotic! 😆

notetaker · 31/01/2020 13:02

@MrsTwentySeven Smile

Hi @Bumblebee413! I've got a feeling you and I are quite similar personality-wise! It's easy to become a bit fixated on them but I have found opks to be helpful in terms of finding out where I'm up to in my cycle. I only use the cheapies but at least it gives me a rough idea. Sounds like you've got to grips with CM checking though so that's good!

Wise0wl · 31/01/2020 14:10

Hello all and welcome @Bumblebee413 - you’re in the right place, I also did a bit of stalking but so glad to have found the best bus ever!

I’ve had a mad week so just catching up, I’m sorry for those of you who haven’t yet got BFPs - I have every faith we’ll all get there in time!

I’m 7dpo, had some very light pink CM yesterday but only when I wiped, nothing today. Otherwise just as tired as usual! Going to hold off testing til next weekend when AF is due. I’m pretty stubborn so doing my best to ignore my FRER til then!

Any nice weekend plans?

Needallthesleep · 31/01/2020 14:24

Welcome @Bumblebee413, I think this is a good place for the neuroticism, it’s nice to let it out! Sounds like OPKs could help you?

I’m 1 DPO. Managed to DTD at day -1, but that’s the only DTD that happened around the right time. I’m really down today because I feel like I’ve missed another month. This was supposed to be the month we really went for it, but my DH was unwell. I’m getting stressed because my DD is 2, so I feel like the age gap is getting too big. And it gets worse for every month down.

I’m testing Feb 13th anyway. Bring it on!

And if I’m not pregnant this month I’m booking myself into a fertility clinic for a check up.

Needallthesleep · 31/01/2020 14:25

Also, has anyone seen the SMEP thread? That seems to have the most BFPs of any thread, so I’m doing it next month!

notetaker · 31/01/2020 14:26

@Needallthesleep You never know, it only takes one!
We had the same in November - I was dead set on that being 'our month' but DH was so poorly we barely managed anything.
If it helps, there's 3.5 years between my sister and I and we couldn't be closer.

Galwaygirl85 · 31/01/2020 14:30

Ovia and clear blue ovulation kits are amazing all 3 times they have worked for me, my ovia was few days out compares to the clear blue ovulation and I'm sitting here happy to confirm 5th pregnancy 2 miss and 2 healthy babies hopefully be a 3rd baby by Oct

Hatepickinganame · 31/01/2020 14:32

@Needallthesleep SMEP? whats this?? X

notetaker · 31/01/2020 14:54

@Hatepickinganame @Needallthesleep spermmeetseggplan.com/smep-step-by-step/ have a read! We have pretty much done this for the past two cycles (providing I'm getting my OV day right)

Needallthesleep · 31/01/2020 14:58

@notetaker that does help, thanks (you and your sister being close with 3.5 years age gap). I wish I could see into the future and know everything is ok.

Needallthesleep · 31/01/2020 15:02

@Hatepickinganame, you start OPKs on CD11, then DTD every other day until you get a positive OPK. When you get your positive OPK you DTD every day for three days, miss a day and the following day DTD one last time.

paintfairy · 31/01/2020 15:33

Well I ovulated on CD 11 this month, so I'm glad I didn't follow that. 😂

I always read that DTD is more effective before ovulation? My apps seem to agree? So the day of ovulation is actually less chance. After that is less again. So the 3 constant days are almost too late?
