A bit about me, I'm 28.. 29 in April.. my husband is a year younger than me. We've been married just over a year and together for 9 years this July.

I came off the pill Cerelle 24th November after years of the pill then implant and then the pill again. Never had periods on any. Just a few withdrawals when I missed a few pills.

Anyway! Been actively TTC since my withdrawal bleed 25-29th November.

Finally after a December of no Flo she's arrived today. So finally I can accurately start trying to track on Ovia!

@Supper16 - We have lots in our friends and family circle with birthdays close to Xmas and the universal consensus is it's not fun! Fingers Crossed for lots of October babies!

I know where my cervix is but I'm not about to start poking it. I'll only end up googling more nonsense! Like it'll help in any way.

My birthday is January. I can honestly say it's miserable. I have therefore told DH we will not be having a Dec/Jan baby. So we have one more shot next month, then have to have a break. Which might also be a good thing anyway mentally.

Obviously by this time next year if still TTC, I'll not give a shit when it turns up. I'll just be hoping it does. Lol.

@Talcott2007 @Supper16 We've got three family birthdays on 22nd and 23rd December. I've declared December closed to family birthdays!
April is even busier - between DH and I there's 9 family birthdays with one more due this year!

@littletandme very tentative! I am CD 52.. stopped pill im october so cycles are all over the place... i have had cramps for 5 days now and been waiting on AF but no sign! And i have like EWCM again.. mind field 🙈

@Diamond94 early congrats 🤞 everything is crossed for you! When will you test again? now trying to convince my crazy obsessive self to chill out and see if that works for me 😂

@Hatepickinganame probably tomorrow morning.. i done that one on like a 2 hour hold of pee 🙈 so hopefully be slightly darker tomorrow.. feeling very anxious after my CP!

How's everyone else today? Im way calmer, actually seen my oh after pretty much a week (opposite shifts suck) and i have the day off so 😊😊 plus no PMS/possible preg/all in my head symptoms at all, decided to enjoy the break in symptom spotting haha

These basal thermometers, are they different to a thermometer we'd have around the house.

Is it worth the £10 on Amazon or just £2.99 for normal in Asda?

@Anon87 A BBT thermometer measures to 2 decimal places. A normal thermometer does not, so you wouldn't really see a temperature difference because its only slight.

@Anon87 ive stopped looking at anything baby, distracting myself with my middle tiny humans birthday (mid feb) and valentines shopping instead... apparently valentines weekend is my fertile window next cycle 😂🤞🤣

Hi all, started getting ov pains today. Last cycle (not trying) I noticed my ov pain was 15 days before AF. Still not getting positive OPKs so not sure what's happening there, will keep testing with them to see if they turn positive. Otherwise just continuing to BD every other day. For all those getting close to testing, hold off as long as you can! And good luck!

No idea when my next fertile week will be. Not a clue when I'm due my period to work anything out 😆

We refuse to pay into Valentine's. I think working in retail killed that for us but I'll just pee on sticks and bang my way through Feb 😂😂😂

Ah girls I really want to test tonight, I’m not feeling hopeful but I’m ready to know if it’s a yes or no this month. It would a stupid idea but I’m feeling weak 😅

Ahh I've started googling...
I wonder if half way through your cycle the googling hormones kick in... I think I've probably ov today. According to the clear blue my LH surge started yesterday afternoon. My cycles are quite short so it's probably today. But I don't recall any ewcm this month at all 🤔 is it possible to ov without? Might test again in the morn to see if LH gone down/ no more smiley

Maybe temping and monitoring cm is a better method??

@professorastrocat definitely possible to ov without having ewcm, I had none this month but opk and bbt both indicating ovulation. I didn't really check for it much when we were TTC DD but I definitely didn't have loads, if any.

@professorastrocat I'm not sure about your EWCM question - maybe someone else knows.

I'm wondering if temping is a good idea too. I bought the basal thermometer but it's been lying in a drawer as the CB test just seemed so much easier. But, if not successful this month I might start tracking temp as well, just out of curiosity if anything!

@MimiArm I don’t really know when I ov’d this month 😂 but I’m guessing about 9dpo. Going to try be strong and wait another week...or at least till Monday! But as soon as one of you cracks I’ll give in I’m sure 😂
